The best part of these "shakes" is that virtually everyone in this stock have taken their initial cash outlay off the table, so they have no reason to be nervous at all. We watch the price go down and laugh because we know it will come back higher shortly. Almost twice the float traded already today, so we all know there's a serious short problem still out there.

I bought 7500 back. For some reason my account wouldn't let me buy more even though I have the money in there. Weird.

October 2, 2006 Simtek, American Way Lead Micro Cap Stocks American Way Business Development Corp. (OTC: AWYB) is yet again the talk of the micro cap world. With only 2.8 million free trading shares in the public float of AWYB, and volume averaging nearly double or triple that daily on no change in share structure, investors have speculated that there is potential for a massive naked short in AWYB stock. A non objecting beneficial ownership list that is due to be released by the company should help provide some evidence that a naked short position does exist. However, for a lot of investors, the only confirmation that is needed is to look at the stock price and see that it is climbing once again, up $.12 to $.52 on an astronomical 7.6 million shares, nearly triple the amount of shares in the public float. As the momentum continues with wild swings to the upside as investors pile on the stock, AWYB appears to be heading in a direction where it will soon no longer be a penny stock. Keeping an eye on other small cap stocks, Simtek Corp. (OTC: SRAM) is also higher, up $.065 to $.585 on decent volume, as investors take notice of its recent IBM deal and a jump up in projected earnings guidance. by Thomas * 3:14 PM | 0 replies | E-mail | RSS Link to: Del.icio.us | Digg | Technorati

The only way it will fall like a rock is if the NOBO comes out and it's not close to the short position we all thought. Other than that, it won't drop back to the teens, geez give me a break man.

Don Platten scares me. Be careful here. This could easily go to $1+ or .0001. I hope for those invested that it really takes off, but just protect your capital...
I am still waiting for 2 sets of divy shares from ol' Donnie and AWBV...

Take your profit and run. Dilution is coming based on the history shown at pinksheets dot com. Many members lost money since Feb. 2006. The winners are those played after the first day of R/S. The chance this run will last 4 days is less than 30%. This is a gamble, do your DD. Always get in at 52-week low, get your capital out when it boubles. Skip's remarks are true. The ceo of AWYB should go to jail for dilution and R/S.

worth reposting for the new traders, I know most of you know what you are doing, but some don't...

AWYB could be a monumental scam. it is a scam, but in terms of size and complexity, this is classic, mlon style
i find it pretty hard to believe MMs are continuing to go deeper into naked short positions if they felt there was any truth to the fact there's this massive outstanding short deficit.
this is a company that has diluted and reverse split its stock 7 times in the past 7 years, anyone whose been trading OTC stocks for a while knows these guys are just another scam job...pump it up, dump a billion shares on the market, then reverse and change the name
DCGR then DCIH then DCGR again, then DCGX, then AWHB, then AWBD, then AWBV, and finally AWYB
most of you know what you're doing and you're just playing the momentum, but for those who are new to this game, someone really should put the disclaimer out there that this company is full of crap (more so than most) and always has been

Jim, you've been saying that since it was like .10. You may be right, but you don't have much credibility here IMO since you've been saying that through like 400% gains.
Can't say I'm not a bit more hesitant now, and I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy in at these levels, but I'm still holding 45K shares and don't feel uncomfortable doing so. If the report comes out tomorrow and isn't what we expected, then sure, I'll bail along with pretty much everyone else, but I don't think dilution will come until a further run up.
We'll see though.

Skip: that's a good reminder to put in periodically. Nobody should get in to be a long. There is NO reason to conclude that this is a good company!
This is strictly a short-term short-squeeze play and every one of us will bail the moment our price is reached or our nerves crack.
For me: I've already taken profits and will sell in pieces as we move up above a dollar and through the dollars, with a small holding kept just in case the PPS gets truly silly.
