CINEMAX PICTURES AND PRODUCTION COMPANY INTERNATIONAL ANNOUNCE THE SECURING OF TWO NEW REALITY TELEVISION PROGRAMS FOR PRODUCTION. << Miss. , ON, Canada May 21, 2007>> GENERAL ENTERTAINMENT NEWS RELEASE Constantine Papadopoulos, CEO of Cinemax Pictures and Production Company International, (www.cinemaxpictures.com) announced today the acquisition of two new reality television properties to the roster of Cinemax Pictures Television Division. The projects are to be produced in Canada and in the USA. Both were developed for various cable networks and terrestrial distribution in North America and will also be made available to other English language countries worldwide.
According to Papadopoulos; "They are extremely diverse in content, but both are unique in their own right and we are looking forward to begin production and the marketing of these programs."
‘LOOK LIKE A MILLION,’ will bring in a number of new elements to ‘Do It Yourself’ (DIY) type programming. A team of decorators will be taking some of the contents of the many multi-million dollar homes they are currently redecorating -- and use these donated upscale items as the center piece(s) of a cost effective “redecorating makeover” in the homes of a list of 'highly deserving average people.' We intend on improving the lives of people such as the formerly homeless; single moms on a tight budget who want a nicer place for their kids but can't afford it; families recovering from a devastating fire and are starting over with little to nothing; and local heroes that could use some assistance in making their life "a little bit better." By combining these upscale items with easily available accent pieces from flea markets, discount furniture stores and resale shops, we will give our homes a unique and upscale look where our viewers will learn "you don't have to spend a million to LOOK LIKE A MILLION." The hosts will include Grace Khan, who has been involved with a high end design magazine in Toronto and has extensive interior design expertise.
Our men about town and the paint store -- and our the ultimate 'upscale design experts' are Toronto based Interior Designers Mark Cox & Oliver Brueck. They have redone numerous multi-million dollar homes in Toronto and Palm Beach , Florida . With Mark and Oliver joining the show, it will also become a worldwide broadcasting first, as they will be the first ever legally married gay male couple in history to host a regularly scheduled television program. We are excited at the prospect of this program and its unique and talented hosts.
‘WAY BACK WHEN’ is a multi purpose reality documentary hour-long program that will be easily marketable to a variety of international cable venues. The program is part "history alive," part cooking show and part travelogue. WAY BACK WHEN will be hosted by two former stage coach parsons who will use real horsepower and a buckboard wagon to travel a set route, give us the "lay of the land" they are visiting, cook some great wild game and local cultural dishes, find herbs growing in the woods and combine them all into a stew that also will be a history and cultural lesson. The local dishes they will seek out and prepare will then be fed to the many unique people they will meet along the way, including area historians, teachers and cultural experts running the societal gauntlet from Native North Americans to sixth generation French Canadians or the equivalent decedents of Swedish-Americans from Fargo, North Dakota. Our hosts are two legendary renegades, writer Daniel Child Noman along with his unkempt unruly passenger James Moe Doe (AKA "Dirty Buck"). They will fumble through modern life, big cities, small towns, cops, permits and judges but they will never lose their stock and trade or their historical mission. It’s all about the people, the conversation, open fire cooking, basic iron skillets, stew pots and the past coming alive. Their condiments are the same that were available in the 1880’s (basic salt, flour, coffee) and their ‘supermarket’ will be the game, greens and natural flavors of the world’s greatest food bank, the Canadian Wilderness, where the only ‘fast food’ available usually is running on four legs. By the end of each show, viewers will have learned a bit about the past, a bit about the culture and architecture and of the people that originally settled in the area -- and why. We'll also experience what they ate and how they made it! It's Food Network meets the Travel Channel meets the History Channel with a touch of Comedy Central!
On another note, Papadopoulos added; "There has been significant movement on the status and interest levels of our program concept "JUST ADD WATER." We hope to have a positive update announced regarding this in the immediate future.

WOW hey gang!!! im sitting in a hotel room in Toronto, was board and thought i would stop in and see if there is anything going on with the QBID.
I was shocked to see there has actually been some work dont buy Cinamax, i thought that it would fizzle out.
nice to see you all back here.
still holding my shares. you never know what could happen, my hopes are long gone, but its not costing me anything to hold on to the shares.
I guess i neeed to look in more frequently, i have not checked in since December 15th.
Did anyone here ever actually get the DVD that Frank sent out? If so i know someone that really needs to get a copy of that. Please drop me a line if you have one or know of someone that has one.
