Tomorrow 8/9/2006, last day to buy shares before the 15-1 forward stock split. lots of developments under way that could make this issue take off after the split. PPS is at around .015, pretty good price to get in before the split once the PR campaign begins. DD this one.

Etrade told me the date of the split was 8/3 and that the shares would be awarded on 8/10?

Many people called their brokers such as ameritrade and scottrade. you qualify for the forward split before the EX-date, i dont know why they PR'd it like that. so if you buy lets say 10,000 shares at .015 tomorrow, after the split you will end up with 150,000 shares. There is no way that anyone who has been buying after august 3rd wont get the extra shares after the split because your value in the stock never changes in splits, so you have to receive shares. Usually those dates where you cant receive them for example august 3rd would be for like a stock dividend.
In final if you buy tomorrow before the split date of 8/10/06 you are entitled to the shares. if you want more info, call your broker, they will confirm this.

Ohio_trader, I just spoke with an etrade representative. She indicated it usually takes 1-2 business days after the effective date for the shares to be posted to an account. I'm sure each brokerage firm is different.

08-03-06 - I bought 10k shares 08-08-06 - I bought 20k shares
These cats are trying to use the divy date saying anything after the 3rd is not valid for the "dividend". So I get (10k X 15) + 20k I bought on the 8th. Is this right!!??
Damn, my 566 dollars will turn into 153. BS!!!

I just woke uo 5 minutes ago so the brain isn't in full gear. So are these new shares tradable? Or are they restricted. Ameritrade isn't showing them as restricted. Maybe I need a nap.
