GWGO's CPA firm quits! This was gleaned from an 8-K filed on 06/08/2006 I've never seen it posted, so thought I'd better post.

Great West Gold, Inc. 245 Park Avenue, 39th Floor New York, New York 10167
Attention: Mr. Richard Axtell
Effective May 16, 2006, we will cease our services as your accountants. We have reached this decision reluctantly and after substantial deliberation.
Our decision was reached based on our annual evaluation of various factors considered in our client continuation policies and procedures as they relate to your company and risk factors your company presents to our firm. Accordingly, we have determined that the risk levels assessed to the audit of Great West Gold, Inc. exceed the firm's acceptable risk levels. The firm has not been engaged to perform the audit as of and for the year then ended December 31, 2005, but believe based upon repeated requests for information that the firm would not be able to complete an audit in accordance with the standards established by the PCAOB. As required by the SEC we will be providing them with a copy of this letter informing them of the same.
We look forward to helping you make a smooth transition with your new accountants.
Very truly yours,
Jewett, Schwartz & Associates

Yes, but just maybe it was the company's fault and the accountants just got tired of dealing with them.

That's how it reads to me. The accounts are saying that they're leaving because when they get audited, their books are in such disarray that they wouldn't be able to complete the audit successfully.

I made some good money with GWGO, buying at .0006 & .0007 and selling at .0014 & .0018. I'm out now though and will stay out. The company has a hard time doing what they tell you they are going to do. I'm out of GWGO to stay, but good luck to all that are in, you'll probably need it IMHO.

Hate to say it but the accountants letter does look negative. That said, my take is that GWGO has to have money somewhere if they were able to pull off all the recent acquisitions AND make the first round of dividends payments which I did receive.
I'll sit tight for a while.

In the PR above they say they are going to pay the dividends in the 5 companies listed "no later than June 30, 2006". That was 2 weeks ago, with only about a week left to go. Time will tell but it looks as if this is just more smoke being blown up our skirts.

One day down and four to go till the end of the month. What are the odds of them hitting their time frame this time?

Well, they're down to their last day. Let's see if they will make honest people out of themselves.

I e-mailed them as a reminder and even included the previous PR where they stated more info would be out by end of June. Still waiting though.

Well, once again, GWGO has proved that they can't be trusted to do what they say they're going to do, when they say they're going to do it. I don't really expect anything from they any more. And you know what they say....Blessed are they who expect nothing for they shall not be disappointed.

I still haven't gotten a response to my e-mail request from last week but they did list the X-dates as to when you needed to hold shares in order to get new shares. I think that PR date was back on 6/7/06.

Anyone have any info on GWGO? Are they still alive or did they just take the money and run?

May GWGO rest in peace. I don't think we will ever get what we were supposed to get. I made some money on them when I sold out a few months ago. I really feel bad for those who bought in during the last run and got stuck holding the bag on this dog. Best of luck to all in your future dealings.

Just checked the web page and they are updating it again.
FAQ's This page is being updated shortly as we are still in the process of upgrading our web site. We intend to provide a very comprehensive "Frequently Asked Questions" Section on this page with very detailed information to provide our investors with full and accurate information about their company.
Share price seemd to be holding the last few weeks. Currently at .0006. Buy 1 million shares at .0005 for $500.00 and sell it at .0006 for 600.00. Do this every day and make $100.00 (minus commisions) per day while your'e waiting. ?

There is nothing different about their website. It's been the same for months in fact their copyright is still listed as 2005.

I've done it a couple of times. Just have to have the cash or put up with the free ride crap.
I am still thinking long term on GWGO though or at least untill they get themselves straightened out with the next round of dividends/spinoffs. That and a nice PR or 2 and we can be back to .0010 or more quick.
