This is WELLLLLLLLLLL worth re-mentioning now that the form 4 was filed by FURLA. Furla bought stock. Take a(nother) look at his profile....
George Furla - Co-Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Furla has over 18 years of business experience in entertainment and financial services. He began his business career with Cantor Fitzgerald where he was a trader in the equity securities area. After two years with Cantor Fitzgerald, George then worked for Jones and Associates for 3 years in a similar capacity. In 1988, Mr. Furla left Jones and Associates to run a hedge fund that he established. Mr. Furla entered the film business in 1995, financing several productions. With his partner, Randall Emmett, George formed the current production company in 1998 and is principally responsible for financing arrangements, distribution and has joint responsibility for concept development. Mr. Furla is a 1982 graduate of the University of Southern California with a degree in business administration.
Furla is a stock man! he ran a hedge fund! he was a securities trader for cantor fitzgerald!! and now hes buying stock!! ahahahah can you even understand how beautifull that is? Its should be criminal how easy this money is going to be. You think furla, who is from a financial backround, would buy stock if he wasnt positive it was going to go up? Especially since he is the 1 person that has the power, AND the know all (hedge fund trader/equities trader) to MAKE it go up?? No matter what you think of the company, the man that RUNS the show is now buying stock in it. If thats not an incentive to make the price rise, i dont know what is. Maybe they havent released news/updated website/done ANYTHING to make the stock go up, cause he wanted cheap shares??? Now guess what?? buckle your seat belts!!!!
and this...
How the hell did we miss this one?

Scott Weinberg writes: "Veteran filmmaker Jon Avnet has signed on to direct an action thriller called "Second World," which he promises will be a "ride from beginning to end." The concept sounds solid, Jon, so we're holding you to that promise.
From Variety: "Jon Avnet is set to direct action thriller "Second World," which Emmett/Furla Films will produce with Avent's Brooklyn Films.
Avent, who is in post-production on Al Pacino starrer "88 Minutes," is skedded to begin shooting this fall. Cast has not been set.
"Second," from a spec script by Scott King, revolves around a top assassin -- and mother -- who must stop a deadly virus from spreading. But in order to halt the potential pandemic, she must team up with the virus' creator, who also is her target."

Avnet's previous films include "Fried Green Tomatoes" (1991), "The War" (1994), and "Up Close and Personal" (1996). More recently he produced "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow.""
