A dollar is more pie-in-the-sky. But .15 to .20 is probably very reasonable.

You guys are starting to make me see $$$ when you talk about IPRE hitting .15 to .20
The thing is it did hit .19 at some point as that is it's 52 week high so it certainly could hit that range again.
I'm not sure what the scenario was that caused IPRE to rise to .19, was it similar to the events that are currently in motion now? Details would be interesting if anyone knows or can find.

I'd like to point out also that it fell so much probably because of dilution as they were trying to raise money for SIIR.
They announced a few weeks ago that they're done selling stock and now are unable to do it for a year so no worries of dilution either. Woo.

IMO at the very LEAST it will hit .05. Maybe a lot higher, but it will probably be a slow mover...too slow for the 'get rich quick' crowd.

looks like mm's picked off stop losses at 3 and 29, i doubt we see anything significant eod, i dont think anyone is expecting a pr till the end of the festival now, i just hope this is as low as they take her, a 50% retrace from the high of 57.. seems like panic selling and impatience are going to scare a lot of people off.

The last run to .19 took about three months.
It started after a dip from about .04 to about .02.

This isn't a short hold stock IMO....Gotta give it at least a month...or in my case till the end of the year. Don't worry! GLTA

Patience is indeed the key to profits with a stock like this one. The company hasn't even got the final product ready for release. They are at Cannes showing the trailer and testing/looking for the right venue.
It's always possible SIIR might not make the big screens but rather be a TV exclusive by one of the networks and then on to the dvd market. Who knows at this point?
I am very comfortable with the company and it's 'investor relations' so far and am willing to wait for them to do their job, which should result in a positive result for us.
I have never been a good 'day trader' but I have made my money (good money) by not being IMPATIENT and selling too soon.
Whether you hang in there or not really doesn't matter in the long run. The stock will do whatever it does with or without you.

The movie isn't being "shown" or screened so you won't see it on a website. Imperia is there showing it privately to some buyers.

"More than 4,400 movies will screen in Cannes as part of the market."
thats a lot of competition when we only have a trailer. not bashing, but calling 'em as i see 'em. since we have already been approached by distributors im not the slightest bit worried. heck.. theres even the brokeback mountain scenario.. "For investors with an appetite for risk, independent films can reap huge returns. A movie like last year's gay cowboy romance "Brokeback Mountain" cost about $14 million to make but earned roughly $178 million at worldwide box offices."

May 22, 2006 On the Scene: Penelope Cruz at Cannes Having arrived late at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival -- due to my best friend’s long-overdue, much-overwrought wedding -- I’ve spent much of my first two days on the Croisette scrabbling like a short-legged puppy to catch up. (That and feeling terribly grateful for my brilliant colleagues Greg and Lisa, who covered my butt with good humor and aplomb). And, I have to say, 48 hours into the experience and I’m feeling at home already. I’m exhausted. Hung over. I have brutal, bruised-fruit bags under my eyes. And I’ve seen enough grotesquely fake breasts and teeny-tiny dogs to get me through at least two calendar years.
Yup, it’s Cannes time. This is my fourth fest and I’m starting to wonder if anything ever changes in this shiny little seaside town. The red carpet rolls. The champagne pours. The tourists throng the streets. High meets low and the absurd is pretty much the only thing on the menu. Last night was no exception. I bounced from catching up with Pedro Almodóvar film Volver (which stars Penélope Cruz, pictured, and is every bit as good as everyone says) to a yacht party for the D.O.A. Richard Kelly movie Southland Tales (a floating wake with fancy seafood). From there I caught the first 20 minutes of Oliver Stone’s new film about the last two rescue workers pulled from the rubble of the Twin Towers. I know. I know exactly what you’re thinking. But trust me when I tell you the movie is beautiful, restrained, and entirely apolitical. That, and fairly upsetting. So one can imagine how odd it was to immediately hightail it to a party first for a movie packed with animated characters (Dreamworks’ Over the Hedge) and then to a movie packed with characters having animated sex (John Cameron Mitchell’s porn-y Short Bus). By the time I made it home at 2 a.m., I wasn’t sure whether to weep or drink some more. So I just passed out.
(A strategy that worked quite nicely, thank you.)
So what can I tell you from a newcomer’s perspective? The critical piñata of the festival is unquestionably Southland Tales. Kelley’s Donnie Darko follow-up may have a supporter here or there, but the apocalyptical mish-mash of a movie clocked in at a staggering 2 hours and 40 minutes and woke up this morning to some of the worst reviews the festival has seen this side of Brown Bunny. Today was largely devoted to interviews and get-to-know-yous as the town gears up for a big X-Men party tonight. (Director Brett Ratner is unavoidable and appears to know everyone.) But the big-ticket movies start up again in earnest tomorrow and film-heads all along the Croisette are gearing up for its final three big entries of the festival: Babel starring Cate Blanchett and Brad Pitt, Sofia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette, and, of course, the Borat movie.
More as it comes. And, dear readers, please pray for me. And my liver. It needs all the help it can get.

I understand most of the review are geared towards the lavishly budgeted Brad Pitt movies. Is there any news on the up and coming independent filmmakers. Has anyone heard of "Say It In Russian"? They seem to have a pretty interesting trailer.
I would have thought given Oliver Stone politics the twin towers would crash into the planes.

A film critic telling me "I know what you're thinking..." What a scream. I would have nothing but the highest expectations for the new Oliver Stone film. Why are most critics such wussies when it comes to standing up against elitist view points like "Oliver Stone is wacked with political paranoia?" Obviously, you know he is a great genius. Don't apologize to the whinners for knowing it.

I was in Cannes when I was in the Navy, an dit is a great town. Enjoy your time there!
"And I’ve seen enough grotesquely fake breasts..."
Ahhh, France.

I hope whatever needs "fixing" get it. I like it when some movies open in festivals because the director and producers can then take notes and maybe change things around a bit. Mixed buzz if often not so great, but every once in a while it's a good thing. I hope this applied to Southland Tales.

Kelly will fix his movie. Coppola will win the prize.

What do you mean "the D.O.A. Richard Kelly movie Southland Tales"? No good?
