Incorporated in Florida, designs, develops, manafactures and markets potable water disinfection systems. The company leverages the technological advances in micro-biotechnology to improve the safety of drinking water in the residential and commercial arenas. The Company's primary focus has been to combat waterbone disease through the use of state-of-the-art under-the-counter, whole-house and hospital disinfection systems. Pure H2O has systematically and successfully addressed lead, and other chemical and toxicological contamination,as well as waterbone disease.
The 1974 Safe Drinking Water Action has provided certain standards for testing and operating water systems, but the demand for safe waters continues to be raised as a consequence of mitigating disease and biological terrorist threats. In a preliminary report issued by the Water Quality Association(WQA)in 1999,the total United States drinking water treatment and purification market was estimated to be 15.44 Billion. Demand in the U.S. for residential drinking water is projected to grow from 12,793,320(12%)homes to over 42,644,400(40%) by year 2010. The United States residential segments growth rate is estimated by the WQA to grow at an annual rate of 11%
Management projects, upon Pure H2O entering the market, that revenue for the first year would reach $6 million, over $14 million in FY'06 and more than $57 million FY"07. The improving margins in years two and beyond reflect the earning impact of low marginal cost.

Case Docketed to Examiner means the case has been assigned to an examiner in a particular Art Unit, IFW TSS... means the application has been reviewed by the legal instruments examiner and all the papers have been entered into the Image File Wrapper for the examination. What comes next is the examination by the examiner and an Office Action.
This is its state as of 03-29-2006.

Correct me if I'm wrong...and I usually am. Can't a company start selling their product without a patent?

I think I may know the answer to my question. If it's a design patent, then that's just to protect your own product. If its a patent for a particular use (i.e. disinfecting water), then I would assume the government has to test its use to give approval. What I was thinking was, shouldn't this product fall under FDA or EPA regulations? I hold 1.5mil shares. I usually buy before I start questioning anything.
