Homeland Security Capital Corp. CEO Tom McMillen Forecasts Significant Consolidation of Homeland Security Market
ARLINGTON, Va., April 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Tom McMillen, CEO of Homeland Security Capital Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: HMSC), a company focused on acquiring, developing and consolidating homeland security-related businesses, told a global security conference that he expects significant consolidation of the homeland security market in the next few years.

Speaking at the 2006 Homeland and Global Security Summit in Washington, McMillen said, 'The homeland security market will undergo substantial consolidation in the years ahead. It is becoming increasingly clear that the market will be dominated by full-service, fully integrated major competitors. A stand alone strategy for niche players will be much harder to sustain as larger companies gain critical mass and are able to aggregate products and services while benefiting from economies of scale. Smaller companies defending their turf against such larger, stronger and better financed competitors will find it difficult if not impossible to maintain a viable strategy.'

About Homeland Security Capital

Homeland Security Capital is a consolidator in the fragmented homeland security industry. The company is focused on creating long-term value by taking controlling interest and developing its subsidiary companies through superior operations and management. The company is headed by former Congressman C. Thomas McMillen, who served three consecutive terms in the U.S. House of Representatives from the 4th Congressional District of Maryland. Homeland Security Capital intends to operate businesses that provide homeland security product and service solutions, growing organically and by acquisitions. The company is targeting emerging companies that are generating revenues from promising security products and services but face challenges in scaling their businesses to capitalize on homeland security opportunities. The company will enhance the operations of these companies by helping them generate new business, grow revenues and improve cash flows.

I would love if HMSC acquired HISC with Mcmillen and his track record behind them....
but I would think normally the acquiring company is LARGER than the other, which isn't the case here at least in pps, but HMSC is an OB as oopsed to a pink... we shall see how this all shapes up soon enough...

wouldnt it be great if all Homeland security companies were to be regulated by one main entity ie HMSC( could happen with the congressional pull) Ok, so that will never happen.... but it is nice to dream.

Volume has dropped off due to lack of movement or real PR. Perhaps, once we get substantial news on the mergers we move upwards again. Long and Strong.

I agree with sprenkld, not the most exciting news but they look like they're moving in the right direction. They have been paying off debt, which is good na dhte loss to shareholders appears to be decreasing. Couple that with a new executive management and I think they look to be quite a solid company. Like many of us know all we need now is some good news and this thing should start to move.

Maybe we should recommend they expand their market to Isreal, that way the suicide bombers won't have to come over here.

Time to start watching HMSC now that HISC has purchased EVSI as a shell. Basically what will happen is many HISC investors will get off and begin looking for a better Homeland Stock. My opinion we will soon see added interest in HMSC at these basement prices as many investors start to become aware of HMSC's potential. HMSC is set to purchase another 2-3 companies this year which will only drive us higher. The companies that McMillen has acquired already has near 30 million in instant revenue! I think we are going to start seeing forward movement again especially over the next 2-3 weeks!

I have been acquiring all the HMSC stock I can afford at this price. Not really expecting any direction to go but up. Way too many buyers trying to get in at .003-.0032 meaning those who are trying to get the stock cheaper could actually end up chasing if HMSC announces more acquisitions soon. I would expect the next PR to push us near 1/2 cent on this next run!

bfthunter, Good luck with getting those really cheap shares tomorrow.. I personally feel that at .0032 to .0039 you are still stealing shares.. This baby is going to hit big.. and when it does it will all be worth the wait.. this will be trading in the pennies IMO. Mcmillen will follow thru. Take a look at his other company FAACU trading at $7.20 3 months ago it was at 5.95.. Slow and steady.. one click at a time..

Rules.. I noticed the loading.. nice to know you got some.. You have also been collecting for sometime now... I've made all my purchases for now.. With the next merger/acq we will be sitting at a much higher pps and in May we will have the all important NEXUS income Stats .. this will give us another boost...
