ARLINGTON, Va., March 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Homeland Security Capital Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: HMSC - News), a company focused on acquiring, developing and consolidating homeland security-related businesses, announced today that it has signed a letter of intent to acquire Milwaukee-based SecurityInc, a single-source manufacturer of active radio frequency identification (RFID) enabled security solutions for commercial and government sectors. SecurityInc markets its products through an established network of system integrators. ADVERTISEMENT
The acquisition, which is subject to negotiation and execution of binding definitive documents, satisfaction of certain material conditions precedent and other ordinary and customary closing conditions for a transaction of this type, is anticipated to close before the end of Homeland Security Capital Corp.'s second quarter. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Thomas McMillen, Homeland Security Capital chairman and CEO, said, "With its experienced management team, SecurityInc is particularly well positioned to capitalize on the fast-growing RFID solutions sector, which is expected to exceed $4.4 billion in sales by 2008. SecurityInc's three component companies generated approximately $3 million in revenues in 2005 serving a variety of industries. With over 1,000 installed systems, SecurityInc has one of the largest installed bases of active RFID product solutions in the U.S. We believe the company and its subsidiaries will be an outstanding platform to build a significant RFID-enabled security company in a highly fragmented industry. We expect this new consolidation deal will generate more than $7 million in the first 12 months."

I think we will but will have some sell off by the end of the day. I think it will close in the mid 3's. I think people are starting to see this is a sound investment.

I'm hoping THIS is the company that acquires HISC! This guy Mcmillen has a sound track record and you have to think nothing but good thinks are ahead! I own both so would be great! GLTA!

the new acquisiton does exactly the same product as HISC - namely FRID only it is more established and not focussed on consumer gagdetry as HISC is.. HMSC wont need highly diluted HISC...in a year from now, HMSC will trade at least at the same levels as HISC is now...

HMSC has a target price of .09 within the next 6 months. Will give you the link as soon as I find where I put it. This is truly the only Homeland Security Stock worth holding.

Great news....solid chart. Just a fine time to get in and hold HMSC, imo. - especially in advance of any further developments. Certainly shows no signs of retracing at this point. Expecting continued momentum for the short-term, miniumum.

Looks like a nice thick 5 wall is ahead of us that needs to be overcome first - investors and MM love to set their programs to nice big numbers. The first 1-2 hours will tell us more... Actually I dont mind if we slow down a bit...the feeding frenzy is fun to watch but history tells us....

There is no group play that I am aware of. If you watched and owned this stock as long as some of us, you would understand that it has been steadily going up almost daily. We seen more volume yesterday as I have heard of higher price targets by some chart specialists on other boards. Bottom line is that HMSC is extremely undervalued and is heading to pennyland and higher soon.
