Mar 06, 2006 (M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX) -- Market Gainer is quickly emerging as the one stop shop for international small-cap investors looking to stay a step ahead of the markets. Today's activity on the OTC exchange has brought Xchem International Incorporated (XKEM), and Inzon Corporation (IZON) to the attention of our research team. Our goal is to create a community of international investors who consistently and effectively capitalize on the enormous gains the small-cap Canadian and American exchanges offer.
Xchem International Incorporated is on the verge of a record day, rising 42% to currently trade at $.0213. The market sentiment for this relatively unknown resource company is up, having traded well over 112 million shares (at the time of publication). Something to consider is the company has not released any sort of corporate development to justify their current levels, however this does not mean the correction is not justified, it may just be a sign of things to come. Needless to say, Xchem International Incorporated is a company that we will be keeping a close watch on over the coming weeks.
I can't find the links again but last week I was researching Sickle Cell and Nigeria. Last year the Nigerian gov had a huge conference and they outlined their goals for 2005/2006.
In those goals... They wanted to appoint someone in office to handle such types of drugs and head up the whole pharm approval process.
Also... If you check our Doc's last name of Xchem, you will see many last names the same in gov positions over seas. Not sure if they are related, but it can't hurt. :-)
Sickle cell is some nasty stuff and here in the states it just falls by the way side because it mostly effects african americans (not much US interest from big money).... But in Nigeria, it's a whole different story.
If someone finds the link to that report, please post it... I will continue to try and find it again.
Welcome to The Cochrane Library 2006, Issue 1 the best single source of reliable evidence about the effects of healthcare
The Cochrane Library is a unique source of reliable and up-to-date information on the effects of interventions in health care. Published on a quarterly basis, The Cochrane Library is designed to provide information and evidence to support decisions taken in health care and to inform those receiving care.

Main results: Reports of two trials were found, of which only one, including 82 participants, was eligible for inclusion in this review. This Phase IIB (pivotal) study suggests that a phytomedicine, NIPRISAN®, was effective in reducing episodes of SCD crisis associated with severe pain over a six-month period. NIPRISAN® did not appear to affect the risk of severe complications or the level of anaemia. No serious adverse effects were reported.
Good to see you are in this one as well my friend... There is HUGE potential in XKEM and I am going to hold on to this stuff for awhile.
This spring is supposed to be big for XKEM... Lets just hope some new wierd illness doesn't come out in the future and swipe all the press coverage of their Sickle Cell efforts.
I got my fingers and toes crossed... waiting on the cramping to set in.
