watch for retrace tommorow into friday, depending on circumstances we may see gap on monday. as for me, i will be selling off all of my shares (all freebies) tommorow morning and jump back in after it sets up another base below .1 i cant afford to miss out on this profit, ive been down over 11k this year and cant afford to take this opportunity to make back my losses - others may find it more beneficial to wait before selling off but i cant afford to take the risk right now. good luck to you all.

This is a completely different stock, but I was invested in a stock at 0.085 a share waiting for a divy, and it rollercoastered from around 0.06 to 0.18 so I figured I'd just play those while I was waiting. Sold it at .12 when I thought it was going to turn around, but it went all the way up to .34, so I just don't want to miss out on something that looks like the same boat, hah.

of course we realize this apparent increase in earnings is due mostly to an adjustment in the valuations of the companies assets without witch they would have shown a net loss on the year. unrealised gains dont equal real cash profits.

Maybe not this week but I'm guessing .25 soon. If you look back at the last big run went from about .04 to .14 all on speculation...we now have some decent facts and numbers so whatdo YOU think?

This stock is a no brainer, heck all sub penny to penny oil stocks is a no brainers. That is why I have holdings in AMEP, PAPO,INSQ.

Love these stocks. Those who put moneyh in these stocks will become a multimillionaire.

Certainly way undervalued. Should be trading at 30 cents or more easily. 11.6 cents is a bargain, and this one will gap up in the am

I just toured their website, www.americanenergyproduction.com. Very impressive photos of well drilling, and well drilling equipment, which includes the challenger 360 rig that can drill sideways into shale. The director Charles Bitters had a 120K salary in 2004. Many other interesting aspects of a solid company. Post your thoughts on the company..I think it is worth investing in long term...

American Bulls has AMEP as a buy confirmed

Then there is Stockta.com with this analysis [Eek!]

quote:
Composite Indicator
Trend Spotter TM - Buy

Short Term Indicators
7 Day Average Directional Indicator - Buy
10 - 8 Day Moving Average Hilo Channel - Buy
20 Day Moving Average vs Price - Buy
20 - 50 Day MACD Oscillator - Buy
20 Day Bollinger Bands - Buy

Short Term Indicators Average: 100% - Buy
20-Day Average Volume - 9238900

Medium Term Indicators
40 Day Commodity Channel Index - Buy
50 Day Moving Average vs Price - Buy
20 - 100 Day MACD Oscillator - Buy
50 Day Parabolic Time/Price - Buy

Medium Term Indicators Average: 100% - Buy
50-Day Average Volume - 5530946

Long Term Indicators
60 Day Commodity Channel Index - Buy
100 Day Moving Average vs Price - Buy
50 - 100 Day MACD Oscillator - Buy

Long Term Indicators Average: 100% - Buy
100-Day Average Volume - 4383911

Overall Average: 100% - Buy

It doesn't get any better than that [Big Grin]

Couple that with today's headlines:

quote:
April 20 (Bloomberg) -- Oil traded above $72 for a second day in New York after a government report showed U.S. stockpiles unexpectedly fell as the peak season for demand approaches.
and it makes you think AMEP (as well as other oil and alternative energy stocks) may prove to be much more valuable than a quick flip will allow you to obtain.

Down a bit, I see a dip and then it coming back, but volume is moving quickly. 4mil shares in the first 2 min.

Edit: Gapping down now

Yep wrong on the gap call. Honestly it is likely to perform better if it retraces and consolidates a little bit.

I like no gap. It may move up slowly today which is fine. I always get caught in gaps. Haven't learned well enough how to play them.

i think it'll retrace though, little shake here.

It's firming up here. Maybe had quite a few sells when there was no gap. That would off set any buying pressure, which I fell is fairly strong but not overpowering at this point.
I don't know which way this one's going right now but it seems to have settled down for the time being.
Dang this is a tough game to figure out guys.

its being chased up by those still trying to get in. if volume holds it all depends on how far people are willing to chase it before realizing its due to drop back down again - either way its good for us because we are already in. id hold off to accumulate more shares, this is definetely going to retrace again before it has its real run.

HOD boys! Glad I held and cancelled my order to sell half at .106.
I leanred alot from VRDM the last few times I played that.
When everybody was sure it would gap and didn't, there was a sell off and then it took off to new highs.
When everybody was sure it would gap and it did, a
vicious sell off shook me out.
