I appreciate the fact that you are attempting to help us all and you are absolutely correct about taking profits.
One thing doesn't add up about Patrick Downs. It is the fact that he was convicted and is on probation until 2012. I think it would be difficult for him to be the CEO of this company under these conditions. How would this stock be able to trade if the CEO was a convicted felon?
I'm not knocking you, I appreciate your efforts. I just think this isn't the same person.

I hope you all realize this will be a restricted stock dividend, not cash. And the information about him being a felon is correct. I hate to see people get burned on these pumps, make sure you take your initial investment off the table if you're up big

The poster called "yes" is Phoenixx, or rather, myself. My old account got corrupted because I changed my password and put ASCII characters in it and corrupted it. Like my signature says..dont do it I spose I should get Bob Frey to fix it, if he can.
If it *is* him, it sounds like a pretty damned stupid thing to do, if you're on probation. Still doesnt explain the award though
Btw, I still have 8680 restricted shares of FNRP. I called the transfer agent. No one can get ahold of the company.....like they've cut and run....yet the stock symbol still trades....
Anyway, I have work to do...cheers guys

I'm curious to find out. Thanks

I love it when my plan comes together. Now to answer your question. No one knows. In the last PR that talked about how it would be given it said: That it could be partly cash or stock or a combination of both. I will go get the PR and post it.

Just read ALOT of posts on IHub, yeah the guy is a crook, whether that is him in the photos or not. Thought id take a gamble on this one, will mostlikely dump most of my shares tomorrow. Not much DD to be had on this that proves anything that the co does is real; then again already pretty much knew that. Then again this is pennyland, hardly anything is what it seems. Like I said im riding the pump, this isnt "investing" we'll see what happens. Still gonna hold a few shares hoping for that divy lol. This is exactly the reason why I stopped doing penny's on a daily basis no matter how much DD you do, it all boils down to numbers and transparency.

I have not been posting lately. Due to the fact that people throw out crap without any proof to back it up. It gets old after awhile. I got the divy of SNYY now AMSN and now I will get this divy no matter what it may be. Plus a real nice profit on the side.
Here is the PR:
November 8, 2005 - 10:00 AM EST
IDS Worldwide, Inc. Updates HLS Buyout and New Data Center IDS Announces 995ad.com Pricing and Marketing Campaign IDS Worldwide, Inc. (OTC BB: IDWD) today announced that all new equipment has been installed and tested successfully at the new high speed data center to run IDS internet portal 995ad.com (http://www.995ad.com). The transfer of the portal code is 75% completed and should conclude tomorrow. Then the databases containing the 500,000+ car ads and other databases will be loaded at the new data center. This procedure will take approximately 48 hours due to the size of the databases. During this transition period IDS will run simultaneously the previous data center located in the Northern United States that was previously purchased by IDS CEO and transferred to IDS at a no-cost basis.
IDS will launch a major public awareness campaign after the launch of 995ad.com at the new high speed data center. IDS has already incorporated some of the live feeds under its agreement with auto vendors to add more functionality to the site. IDS will announce its pricing structure for ads on 995ad.com, "All ads only $9.95, Good till Sold!!" This pricing structure and the high-speed data center will give 995ad.com significant market advantages over current competitors in the online market sales of cars, boats, and houses. This online market, already a Multi-Billion Dollar market, has shown double-digit growth for the past years and forecasts show this trend to continue. IDS will launch a nationwide multi-media campaign to auto, boat, cycle and truck dealers as well as the general public to introduce the significant cost advantages of advertising their products for sale online.
IDS CEO Patrick Downs stated, "There has been numerous instances of misleading information posted on the internet regarding the purchase of the data center located at http://www.battcave.com and the transfer of this asset to IDS. The data center hardware, software and customer accounts and have transferred this asset on a no-cost basis to IDS by the company CEO increases shareholder value with no dilution. Further, as a family favor to the former owners, IDS CEO Downs allowed the former family owners to retain ownership of the domain battcave.com. The real value in the purchase of this asset was in the software to run the data center, hardware and the customer accounts and not the domain name." Even though the purchase was completely closed on the financial terms involved in the deal, the physical transfer of the hardware could not occur until the new data center in Florida was fully online this month. Some misleading information posted on internet stock message boards have falsely claimed this asset purchase did not occur. Upon completion of the launch of the new data center this week IDS will add an investor relations section to the IDS corporate site located at http://www.ids-worldwide.com so that investors will have a reference source of actual company events and updates that would correct the problems of misinformation posted by anonymous sources on internet stock message boards.
IDS is continuing the necessary work to complete the calculation of the previously announced one-time special dividend. IDS has been working with the company transfer agent to determine the exact amount of outstanding shares to be used in the calculation of this dividend payment. IDS CEO, Downs, stated, "IDS would also like to address misleading and patently false information that IDS has 'gagged' the company's transfer agent, Integrity Stock Transfer, (702) 317-7757. IDS is a non-reporting "pink sheet" company at this time and as such the transfer agent has informed IDS that they cannot legally release this information. Any investor or potential investor may feel free to call the transfer agent and receive this explanation directly from IDS' transfer agent. IDS can report that since IDS has taken over this public company IDS has already reduced the total outstanding shares by over 10,000,000 shares and is still continuing a variety of programs to further reduce the outstanding common shares and in the process greatly increasing long-term share holder value.
IDS hopes to conclude meetings with its advisors by the end of the coming week in order to finalize the closing date of the HLS buyout and the related special dividend payment to IDS common stock holders. As previously announced IDS is diligently working with its advisors to conclude the HLS deal and the company is hopeful that certain closing contingencies such as significant inventories in International transit arriving this weekend to be audited, open contracts for new HLS clients and new country distributor agreements due to close in the coming week can be achieved to bring the transaction to a final closing date. IDS has previously stated this one-time special dividend will have an approximate value between $.87 and $1.01. IDS has not yet determined the exact makeup of the special dividend but wishes to address any misinformation posted on the internet that the dividend was an "all cash dividend." IDS previously stated it would pay out the entire proceeds, minus certain closing costs, in the form of a one-time special dividend. IDS Board has not yet determined if the dividend will be paid in the form of cash or stock dividend or some combination of the two. IDS stated the value, taking into consideration certain tax consequences, regardless of the makeup of the dividend would be in the previously stated value range per common share outstanding at the time of the dividend payment. The ex-dividend date has not yet been set by the company, but the company is hopeful the meetings in the coming week will bring this decision to a close.

I guess I'd have to say that I'm a bit concerned because this PR from Nov sounds exactly like the one that was just put out. I'm not sure what to believe at this point. I guess I'll take some profit and hold the rest.

This is true. I'm not trying to burst anyone's bubble just trying to look at the whole picture and get enough perspective to make the right decisions.

Yeh, that is the tough part about stocks. I too wish this had just stayed all cheery... but with these new revalations it makes it tougher to know what direction the stock will take tomorrow. I'm going to hope it still goes up and helps me make my decision for me.

I'm very skeptical on this just by looking at their trend. Sure, the MACD never gapped as strong as today in its timeline, however 90% of their green days are also followed by a strong downtrend. I'm unsure as to if I want to get in tomorrow morning.

Regardless if the guy is a crook or not the point the stock went up is because people bet on the short and lost the gamble due to the divy news. If 7 of 9 is correct and their are still millions of shares the shorts need to cover we can still squeeze the *******s out for another day of great gains. But as far as holding hoping for a divvy I wouldn't try it, not with negative news about the CEO.

The MMs have collected tons of IDWD shares. They spent a lot of money to do that. This is a gamble -- but if you gamble on the dealers (MMs) side, it's a safe gamble. See FEMO, CLBE, CIRT, and PMED -- all these stocks are manipulated and should be considered dead stocks, but suddenly they come alive and rebound very high. Just watch it one more day and reevalute it tomorrow night.

quick point: "get in, get out" still applies. It's true that a "mother lode" pops up from time to time. This looks like a good play...but...don't fall in love, lol. Had I been able to trade today, would've defintely played this.
That being said? With the questions re this CEO, serious DD needs to happen. Check the gvrp thread for an example of how much DD can happen in a compressed time period--when *several* good researchers are working togther...
That's what needs to happen, imho--work together.
My 2-cents for da night...

Just an update on my research of Patrick Downs and IDWD. In an odd twist there is a patrick downs who is on the board of directors of IWS, which is also a biometrics identification type company. I emailed them and asked about any relation between the two. Here is the response:
Our Board member, Patrick Downs, is not the same person as the Patrick Downs that is the CEO of IDS Worldwide. There is no relation between the two. No member of ImageWare's board or management has any affiliation with IDS Worldwide.
Thank you for your inquiry and your interest in ImageWare.
Best regards,
Wayne Wetherell SVP Finance and CFO ImageWare Systems, Inc.
In other developements, I have yet to find anything other than company generated PR's and websites that look pretty.
