Restrictions
There are many restrictions on the size, price and types of stocks you are able to short sell. For example, you can't short sell penny stocks.....

Plenty of info on the net.

Just a little market lesson here. Such a drop on no news is actually anticipation of huge news by the big investors and big insiders. Here is what happens, they know something big is coming so they all sell their shares and cause a drop then a panic sell..then what happens the same people who sold buy back all the shares from the market at a cheap prices then good news hits and they make even more moeny where the little retail investor lost.

I thought a few days ago on scottrade usxp spiked like that, then the stock went up. I know I'm losing it, going crazy but I bought more.
