Who lets out a pr that requires a membership with another website to be able to listen to it? This is crazy.

You'd want to set your limit to at least .0001 or .0002 below the current bid in order to ensure it will sell. That's how I get out some of the time.

what i've learn from usxp is you have to set your sell order at the price you want when its on a uptrend....if the price goes thru, it will be easy...once it goes down, it's really hard to get out. last week i had a lot of problem to get out in a downtrend, i think i lowered my limit 5 or 6 times...

No, the only way you can sell these guys is when there is a bull movement like the first of the morning when it takes off. That is the best time. Post the sell for the open number and let it go.

I'm going to disagree with you slightly, because selling at the open when the open is higher does lead to the risk of not getting as much money on it as you otherwise could have. It's best to wait until after the open...see what the first few trades are, and sell once you see a potential downfall coming.

I had a sell limit order (Scottrade only allow Limit order on BB's, so that's half the problem, market orders will take priority over limit orders on BB's) in at .028 when there were 4 MM's on the bid at .029. I then dropped the limit to .025 when there were 3 MM's at .0265 and 2 at .026 and two at .025 and it sisn't execute either...so no one is going to convince me this stock is highly illiquid on the way down...and it's the same on the way up....a daytrader's dream....IF you can get filled.

I feel your pain iternity. I wanted out at .031 and Scottrade wouldn't let me sell it.

I think your problem is Scottrade, I had a hell of time selling another stock yesterday. (Had other sell offers at the same price over-ride my sell offer that I placed before them).
BTW, do the other on-line trading companies charge 1/2 of 1% of principal for shares under a buck?

Some charge worse than that for stocks under $1/share.....a flat fee + 0.5% the number of shares, in dollars. Imagine being charged over $100 for holding 20000 shares of a stock....let alone over $1000 for 200,000 shares

There may be a sell-off there, but it won't end the day where you're predicting. Friday's are generally weak and tend to have a lot of selling by day-traders.
