I wish the losers could give the winner cash, say $5 each maybe through paypal, but that may be illegal so we probably shouldn't do it. Any lawyers out there who could answer that question? Fourteen (14) x $5 would be $70. Not much but it's for fun.

$70 less commissions could buy you around 1,500 shares of motg at today's pps. Keep it until it hits a $1 and you'll have...$1,500.00.

i can't understand why almost all the MM's are at 0.03 and below ( 7 them at 0.02). This is getting very frustrating..we are just a few trades of being in the 0.02's.

Really starting to wonder about the people that were having sources, and those that were having contact with Welch...seems most of these people aren't around anymore..or are just not posting...makes you wonder if any of it was true.

I can assure you that us people "with sources" are above board. If you don't want to believe us, fine. This is a dynamic business where things happen sometimes... deadlines can be missed, problems can come up, etc. We do the best with what we have. If you wish to continue to question our integrity, I can simply not update this board with whatever I find out from "my sources". I've been in this thread a whole lot longer than you and I think I've earned the right to be trusted. If you don't believe me, that's your right. In fact, if any of you have ANY doubts, than please don't listen to me... it is your money and your money only. It is your responsibility.

Stocknut, would you prefer that I NOT share with this group what I find out? If so, I'll be happy to only PM those who believe me, and you can just develop your own sources. (By the way, I had an update for today, but maybe I'll refrain.)

Please, don't read this wrong... I'm not angry nor do I mean to be disrespectful to you. I can understand your hesitation. But I just don't feel like putting my neck out and sharing what I know if that same neck is gonna get lynched everytime things don't go according to plan or according to how my "sources" said it would. I only repeat what I hear or know. Check out my past posts... you'll see I'm a trustworthy person. If you don't trust me, that's fine, I respect that. But I will tell you this... those of us with sources... whg, katrina, AZ, tech, aldeberon, and me... we're above board, I can assure you.

But as always, do your own DD.

Cheers.

There were a few fairly large sells (or buys). The last was 750,000shrs at .034. Same thing as last Friday, when the 750,000shares went through then trading stalled and reversed.

Stocknut, we're still here. Rest assured, Welch is working on stuff. AW is not so obsessed with the PPS that he'll just put out PRs to artificially inflate the PPS and cause short-lived runs. He is acutely aware that he needs to build real value for the company.

When I heard from him last, on Friday, he advised that he was working on some things. The only thing I can repeat is that he said "PRs", multiple.

Hang in there, guys.

Hey gang, looks like some more conversions today. Not helping the pps I know, but hopefully a sign of people wanting to get in before the run.

I added more over the past few weeks and am holding over 1 mil. I am still here, just remodeling my entire kitchen, so very busy.

I think I have posted several of my emails from Welch, and I can assure you all that any info I have posted on this board has come from him, Megan his assistant) or the transfer agent.

Looks like this may be a longer hold than any of us anticipated.

By the way, I thought I should clarify. Many of us long holders are buddies, and chat off this board. We talk MOTG, but also about a bunch of other stuff, so as not to waste thread sopace here with unrelated drivel. We're still all here though.

Yep. It's nice to have the metro-capewearing-whipsnapping-triangleplaying-formeractor-turned-superboy stigma kinda drift off the board and into the past. [Smile] Oops.

Anyways, don't worry... if we find out anything, we'll share it with you. But again, all we can do is share what we know. Whether it actually happens or not, whether we are lied to or not, whether things go unexpectedly wrong or not... we have no control over this. All we can do is pass on what we know... you all have to take everything with a grain of salt knowing that business in general is often volatile. If you don't understand this concept, you shouldn't be trading and should have all your money in a money-market or t-bills instead.

things are holding the difference on these conversions are that retail is not selling. When we were going through the conversions retal was selling also so the price dropped...notic though that the ask is still strong. yes it dipped but it popped back up. What we need is a killer pr something that brings in traders and investors. We need a 5-6million share volume day. Then we will be a rocking

Stocknut: there are plenty of people on this board who I feel are very trustworthy. In fact, I value the opinions of most of the core group of people here (BTW, thanks for everything guys and gals...you know who you are [Wink] ).

If you're questioning the information that has been provided on this board from sources, I recommend taking some time out to look back and go over that information. I am confident that you will find most, if not all, of it has been valid up to this point.

As someone else mentioned, there is always inherit delays in business and circumstances which are difficult for the CEO to control.

The important thing is that you trust YOUR OWN convictions and do what YOU feel is the right thing. Take every post with a grain of salt and if you question any of the information that has been posted, ask the company for yourself. I think you'd be surprised at the results [Wink]

sorry if I offended anyone with my post, it was not my intention I am just very frustrated right now. I'm down alot of $ and didn't think we'd be at these levels at this point. This ARCA thing is making me sick. There is a good group of people on this board. I will stop posting, cause all I have to offer right now is negative. Wish all of you the best of luck.

Stocknut, no, dude, stick around. I wasn't offended, and I don't think any of the other long holders were either. A lot of us are down right now, and there's much to be negative about. Better to talk about your frustrations here and get a little support that sit there worrying by yourself.

stocknut,

You're more than welcome to stick around. I can understand your frustration... no one is mad at you. I only replied the way I did because I don't want people's trust in this stock to waver.

This is a really, REALLY good stock, but patience is definitely the name of the game right now. I got in at around .08 so I feel your pain. Just be patient and hang in there.

Modern Technology Corp Announces H-NET Overview for 2006
1/18/06

OXFORD, MS, Jan 18, 2006 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) --
Modern Technology Corp (OTC BB: MOTG), a rapidly growing diversified technology development and acquisition company, announced its strategy for its H-NET subsidiary for 2006. The company also released details on H-NET's progress and provides guidance for H-NET's operational vision for 2006.

The H-NET technology and software asset was acquired in July of 2005. Since that time, we have accomplished the following:

1. As promised in July 2005, a new subsidiary of MOTG was created to host
the operational aspects of H-NET and provide a platform for a possible
future spin-off transaction. MOTG presently owns 100% of the H-NET
subsidiary.
2. The H-NET website has been completed and deployed.
3. The software development is complete and the product is market-ready.
4. Entered into an agreement with Stitel Networks to provide software
enhancements, customer training and support.
5. Many enhancements to the software have been identified and are underway
to broaden the platform's market scope.
6. Europe has been targeted for marketing and relationships are being
developed to further this goal.
7. The Medical field has been identified as a new marketplace for the
software and steps are being taken to modify the technology to compete
in this arena.
8. A sales and marketing infrastructure has been created to support sales
and distribution of the platform.

Objectives for 2006:

1. Establish key marketing channels with major optical industry companies.
2. Create co-marketing partnerships with leading trade publications in the
USA and Europe.
3. Establish co-branded promotions and distribution channels with
established retail suppliers.
4. Create technology development partnerships with major medical and
optical companies.
5. Generate sales and profitability in the H-NET subsidiary sufficient to
positively contribute to MOTG earnings.
6. If sales and operational conditions warrants, we intend to spin-off the
H-NET operation and declare a dividend.

In an upcoming press release, we will expand on these objectives and provide more detailed 2006 guidance on revenue projections, new acquisitions, cost reductions, debt reductions, and earnings guidance for our fiscal and calendar year-end.

did you guys notice this?

"If sales and operational conditions warrants, we intend to spin-off the H-NET operation and declare a dividend."

Nice, huh? How many other pennies offer dividends. Not only that, but AW has promised in the past that MOTG holders will get free shares of spin-offs. More reason to hold onto this.

Warped, right. We've talked about this before, but I'd like to point out for everyone else, there is absolutely no reason for Mr. Welch to reference 'spin-offs' and dividends' in his statements, unless that is something on his mind. To make mention of those and not follow through would damage his credibility.

I am again enthused about this stock.
