I don't think I mind owning 25 million shares of RVMN. I'm just puzzled about a forward split when the price per share is already this low. What does RVMN have other than Gina D's Kid's Club and future toys in the retail market? If this show gets cancelled, I'm screwed. And shows on TV get cancelled easily. This isn't Mr. Roger's Neighborhood or Sesame Street.

Hollywood Reporter Breaks Story of GINA D's KIDS CLUB (R) Coming to Public Television WPBT / Miami Signs Exclusive Presenting Station Deal With Raven Moon Entertainment American Public Television to Distribute Series Raven Moon Entertainment, Inc. (OTC BB: RVMN) announced today that Kimberly Speight of the Hollywood Reporter in the November 23, 2005, issue broke the story entitled "Gina Coming To Public TV" www.hollywoodreporter.com.
In the story reporter Kimberly Speight stated that Miami public television station WPBT/Channel 2 will be public television's exclusive presenting station for Raven Moon Entertainment's series "GINA D'S KIDS CLUB ®." Further, it was announced that the series will be distributed by American Public Television (APT) beginning in June 2006.
The Hollywood Reporter exclusive story appeared after a joint announcement made by Joey DiFrancesco, Chairman and CEO of Raven Moon Entertainment; Jack Gibson, Senior Vice President Programming and Production, WPBT/Channel 2; and Tamara Le, Senior Manager, Exchange, American Public Television.
American Public Television (APT), which acquires programming to distribute to public TV stations nationwide, offered "GINA D'S KIDS CLUB ®" at its APT Fall Marketplace 2005, held in Palm Desert, CA, November 9-12.
Tamara Le, senior manager for exchange and scheduling at APT, said, "The educational aspects along with the culturally and ethnically diverse characters were appealing. But the kicker on this was that it's whimsical and fun. ... It's refreshing and features humorous characters; kids are going to pay attention," she said.
"One of the most appealing factors of the show for me was that the principal character is a positive female role model for young girls," said Jack Gibson, senior vice president programming and production at WPBT, which serves the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale/Palm Beaches area. "Public TV programmers love to provide diversity in content and role models. We felt like 'Gina D' stood out among many programs that we looked at over the course of the year."
"The series connects children to their world and helps them build the courage to meet everyday challenges with confidence. We are excited to partner with Raven Moon Entertainment on a series of this quality. As we begin reaching out to other public television stations, we are confident they will share our enthusiasm for this delightful and educational children's series," added Gibson.
"With a very strong presenting station working on our behalf, we are delighted to be able to connect with the entire public television family," said Joey DiFrancesco who, along with Bernadette DiFrancesco, are co-creators and co-executive producers of "GINA D'S KIDS CLUB ®." "This partnership with WPBT is a tremendous opportunity to insure that Gina D's message of self-esteem, sharing, literacy, and positive values reaches the widest audience of pre-school and early elementary school-aged children."
ABOUT GINA D'S KIDS CLUB:
"GINA D'S KIDS CLUB ®" was launched in September 2004 as a once-a-week series in selected markets. The agreement with WPBT represents a milestone event designed to expand the reach of "GINA D'S KIDS CLUB ®" for pre-school and early elementary school-aged children on a premier pre-school destination like public television.
The program is a family friendly show that provides educational content in an original and entertaining format, at the same time inspiring and reinforcing positive values. Gina D ® invites children to join her in a familiar yet highly imaginative world that is filled with original, uplifting songs, state-of-the-art animation, puppets and live action characters. The programs are produced by Emmy Award winning executive producers Joey & Bernadette DiFrancesco for Raven Moon Entertainment, Inc. based in Orlando, FL.
ABOUT CTF and WPBT/CHANNEL 2:
WPBT/Channel 2 began in November of 1953 when the Community Television Foundation of South Florida, Inc. was formed as a nonprofit organization with the mission of raising funds for the establishment and operation of Florida's first noncommercial television station. On August 12, 1955, Channel 2 went on the air without a penny of tax money having been spent. There was no budget, no income, no paid staff and even the station's transmitter and antenna had been donated.
The station has come a long way from its humble origins in the 1950s. It continues to demonstrate its worth to the South Florida region by providing about 150 hours of quality programming each week to educate, enlighten, inspire and entertain. Each week, it provides a program schedule as diverse as its audience -- thirty-seven hours of children's programming including "Sesame Street," "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood" and "Barney and Friends"; "Nightly Business Report," "Frontline," "The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer," "The McLaughlin Group" and "Wall Street Week with FORTUNE" make up only a small portion of the more than thirty hours of news and public affairs programs; seven hours of nature and science programs like "Nova," "Nature," "National Geographic Specials" and "The Jacques Cousteau Specials," thirteen hours of how-to programming from Julia Child to "This Old House"; thirteen hours of British comedies like "Are You Being Served?" and "Fawlty Towers"; twenty hours of award-winning commercial-free films; domestic and international dramas including the signature series "ExxonMobil Masterpiece Theatre" and "Mystery!"; independent documentaries; and the best in classical and popular performances including "Great Performances," "Live from Lincoln Center," "The Metropolitan Opera Presents," and specials like "Carreras," "Domingo and Pavarotti in Concert."
