Mining Stocks Rise on Jump in Gold Prices
Wednesday November 16, 5:53 pm ET
Mining Stocks Rise, Moving in Line With Gold Commodity Futures; Silver Prices Also Post Gains

DENVER (AP) -- Mining stocks rose Wednesday, moving in line with gold commodity futures that jumped $10 an ounce to close above $479 -- its highest level in more than a month.
Silver prices closed above $8 an ounce Wednesday for the first time since December 2004.

Continuing strong gold demand from Asia, weaker oil prices, inflation concerns and central bank buying were all combining to lift gold, analysts said.

Douglas Silver, chairman and chief executive of International Royalty Corp. of Denver, said recent forecasts that the largest mining companies' production is declining was likely also driving gold prices higher.

On the New York Stock Exchange, Denver-based Newmont Mining Corp., the world's largest gold producer, closed up $3.01 at $46.05; Toronto-based Barrick Gold Corp. closed up $1.22 at $26.49; Vancouver-based Placer Dome Inc., closed up 80 cents at $20.87; and New Orleans-based Freeport-McMoran Copper & Gold closed up $1.97 at $51.80.

Platinum and palladium producer Stillwater Mining Corp. of Billings, Mont., got a boost from a jump in those metals prices Wednesday on forecasts of increasing demand from auto makers for catalytic converters. The shares closed up $1.06, or 11 percent at $11.20 on the NYSE.

Bullish gold sentiment came out of the London Bullion Market Association conference in Johannesburg, South Africa, this week, analyst Silver said.

Sandy McGregor, a fund manager with Allan Gray Ltd., was cited in media reports out of the conference saying that the world's largest gold producers are "trying to run up a down escalator" in terms of replacing their gold production.

"If this proposition is true, which it is ... then mining companies and gold become that much more precious because of the shortfall in production relative to demand," Silver said.

If the biggest gold companies are having a hard time maintaining their high production, he said, "there will be a shortage of gold globally. It also means other (smaller) mining companies will become takeover targets."

Silver cited Newmont Mining's announcement Wednesday that it was acquiring a 9.9 percent stake in Miramar Mining Corp. as a sign of what's to come with big mining companies, desperate to boost their production numbers.

"The big companies are positioning themselves ... to somehow accelerate consolidation in the business," he said.

A Newmont spokeswoman couldn't immediately be reached for comment.

First Canadian American Holding Corporation Announces Kachina Gold Corporation Announces Strategic Expansion Program and Enters Discussions to Acquire Additional Gold Reserves
11/17/2005 9:00:12 AM

TORONTO, Nov 17, 2005 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- First Canadian American Holding Corporation (FCDH) announces today Kachina Gold Corporation, an emerging junior gold exploration and production company, is pleased to announce that it has entered the next stage of its corporate development, and has begun preliminary discussions for the acquisition of a number of mining properties in Arizona and California. Kachina has been approached by three acquisition targets with proven reserves in Arizona and California, and is currently evaluating their upside potential.

Kachina has already begun producing from its first gold mining property, located in Mohave County, Arizona. With production ramping appreciably at the property, and with the recent boom market for gold, the Company has decided to accelerate its corporate expansion strategy and explore acquisition opportunities to increase reserves and production over the near term. Given the current outlook for gold prices on the stock market and the current, highly fragmented state of the industry, the Company believes that there are a large number of synergistic fit acquisition targets throughout the industry, as mine owners seek development capital and expertise to bring properties into production status.

"This evolution in Kachina Gold's expansion strategy represents the next logical step forward for the Company, and affords the ability to take advantage of opportune conditions within the gold industry," commented Robert M. Gaither, President of Kachina. "Our decision to pursue a roll-up strategy acquiring mineral assets that are near revenue stream and with low-cost production operations is critical to the long-term financial success of the Company. We expect to be able to bring significant results to our shareholders over the next several months as we further pursue this strategy of acquiring undervalued mineral bearing properties and bringing them into production."

About Kachina Gold Corporation

Kachina Gold Corporation (www.kachinagold.com) is an innovative new entrant into the white-hot gold mining industry. The Company has acquired a working interest in a number of historically producing mining claims located in the prolific gold producing region of Mohave County, Arizona. Kachina's claims were heavy producers over 70 years ago before the limitations of mining technologies forced abandonment. Kachina has established operating agreements with an experienced mining partner, and is already extracting ore out of the ground today. Upon completion of remediation and rework on these claims, Kachina expects to extract approximately 1 ton a year -- or $14.8 million at today's gold prices.

Bmar you should know better then this. You lost a ton of cash on CNES because you held on the Companies dump. Now your in another stock (FCDH) which has billions in o/s and even with a real product the company will make no effors in lowering the o/s so the PPS can increase.
Plays that are this low are here for a reason. Much like CNES, QBID, PRRM, MLON, CMKX they all have huge o/s and get diluated every so often to boost the pps down.. When will you open your eyes and notice what's going on here?

Well, Thanks for caring so much for me Mo. I will be expecting a Valentines Card from you in Feb [Wink] LOL

Yeah the share structure is alittle big in all the areas, but IMO that is just minor stuff.

CEO stated no dilution (fwd or rev) I guess we'll see if he's a man of his word.

FCDH has a subsidary in the gold sector (KCHG). Right now gold is booming the PPS out the roof.

FCDH also has workin interest in Terra Block that IMO IF marketed right in the 3rd world countries or in places lacking steel and timber WOULD MAKE A HUGE INPACT on.

The blocks that TerraBlock make are incredable!
-1.2 cents per block to make
-made with dirt that has aleast some clay present
-mets Florida's top hurricane standards!!!
*tested with 140mph winds with 180mph gusts
AND STIL STOOD ~!!~~!

And last BUT not least is TFN
The Fight Network

This IMO and in alot of peoples opinion even my friends that are not into stocks ---this channel will be huge in the USA!!!

HUGE

if you search back afew pages you will see a article/link that states

a UFC program OUT PERFORMED COLLAGE FOOTBALL !!!!

now we all know football/collage football is "The Man Show" when it is in season. It's been that way for a long time...

Now this UFC comes along and beats it....

think about it.
_________________________________________

Now another way to think about this is
would you like a:

GAY Channel (QBID) or The Fight Network (FCDH)

TO my knowledge QBID had ran to .025 or so with the O/S not even known!!! Later to be found that it was 9 billion....AND from what I see it's still struggeling to be picked up!?

Now FCDH comes along with a channel that has some potential.
-It is CCSA approved in Canada.
-Is already on Rogers Cable!
-the TFN rollout was in Oct!
-And the Share Structure is 1/4 of what QBID was....

ok im done...I don't have all the dates, numbers here in front of me but if you guys see something wrong please correct me.

First Canadian American Holding Corporation Reports on The Fight Network
Upstart Canadian Broadcaster Says U.S. Carriage Deal Is Imminent
Nov 22, 2005 9:00:00 AM
TORONTO -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 11/22/05 -- First Canadian American Holding Corporation (OTC: FCDH) announces The Fight Network is currently only available on Rogers digital cable, but the upstart channel is looking to do something rare for a Canadian broadcaster. The Category 2 diginet devoted to martial arts and other fighting forms is in talks to be distributed in the United States -- initially on satellite TV and then on cable in select U.S. cities.

The Fight Network president and COO Mike Garrow tells Canadian Communications that the channel could be carried in the United States even before additional carriage agreements are in place with more Canadian distributors. "There's a good chance that The Fight Network will be in the United States first, before we have other Canadian agreements. I really believe that we will be in the U.S. in 2006," he says. He points out that there is no cable TV channel currently in the United States that is similar to The Fight Network, and that it acquired not only Canadian rights, but also U.S. rights, for its programming in anticipation of expansion south of the border.

"We secured options for the U.S. as part of a longer window, because we thought it would be some time before we expanded there. But we have now been approached [by a U.S. distributor], so we'll probably be exercising those options sooner," he states.

Successful expansion by The Fight Network into the U.S. would be a landmark move for a Canadian broadcaster. Generally, Canadian broadcasters partner with American players to gain access to their programming that is aired on jointly owned specialty TV channels here. For example, Alliance Atlantis Communications Inc. runs Home and Garden TV Canada in conjunction with Ohio-based Scripps Howard Broadcasting.

Garrow says that the U.S. distributor became interested in carrying The Fight Network after American viewers began phoning and asking for the channel. Word of the channel has seeped south of the border, says Garrow, mostly through the specialty channel's web site. The Fight Network has gone to wrestling and boxing matches, bars where pay-per-view (PPV) fights are broadcast, and to places like the Molson Indy, where Garrow says there's a male demographic common to The Fight Network.

The specialty TV channel is also promoting itself on its syndicated radio show it operates in conjunction with Toronto's 640 radio station. As well, an announcement will be made soon that the channel will be running eight PPV events from different fight series in conjunction with a Canadian cable operator. Garrow says the PPV content will be used to promote The Fight Network and vice-versa, and he sees additional marketing opportunities through the channel's sponsorship of fights across the country.

The Fight Network is proving to be popular, he notes, because it is not a repeat channel. "Eighty per cent of the programming that we broadcast has never been seen in Canada before," he states. Garrow isn't worried that for the time being it is only being carried by Rogers, the provider on which the channel launched in September (CCR, Sept. 27/05).

"We're in this for the long haul. It's a marathon, not a sprint," he states.

The Fight Network is leasing the broadcast facilities of Toronto-based Channel Zero, and Garrow says the channel could be uplinked from there for distribution to the United States. The Fight Network is being financed privately -- details of which Garrow would not disclose. He adds that there are fewer rules, and no need for a broadcast licence, to win the right to operate in the United States. His channel has already notified the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) of its intention to broadcast down south, he states.
