I'd also like to point out that a company like CC does not jump into a venture blindly. There are analysts, lawyers, managers, and specialists involved at every step. It's mind boggling to believe that anyone on another board would believe that GZFX is a scam.

GZFX with Circuit City backing them... offering the new Microsoft 360 games for rent.... Movies galore with a new 40,000 dvd contract, what more could you ask for? This is a good setup.

I talked to my friend today, who knows that I invest but didn't know I was in GZFX. He was telling me about a "new Netflix" and how he is switching over, as are some of his other friends (one of which is a manager at CC, btw). Obviously I was pretty happy to hear that it was GZFX that they're going to, and upon further review I realized that I should switch over my account too, since it's cheaper and I can get games. I think that in itself is a good omen.

lol...ok i'll shut up. i never said gzfx is a scam and i wouldn't have money in it if i thought it was. i'm not trying to lower the price considering i have no more money to invest anyway.
regardless, to ignore a stocks history goes against all conventional and proven stock analysis procedures. <--the ONLY reason i brought it up.
i've also admitted that epstein COULD have benefited this company back in 2002. I did not know that info was from 2002. geez.

Circuit City needs to keep advertising. This will get things moving. GZFX should be on the main web page, included into tv and radio ads.

Circuit City is in this and it's great, but they aren't going to put their entire focus on it. They have so many departments and so many different partners and deals. They'll do their thing, but they aren't going to make this their number one priority. I'm long and I would love it if they did. I used to work there for 4 years and I just know they have all sorts of stuff going on at all times.

Can anyone comment on recent customer sat levels? (Anyone been speaking to CC folks to see how trial customers are liking it?)
As recent as this month a number of message boards were loaded with complaints about 3 things: - DVD turnaround times (10 days ship back + receive) - incorrect charges on their credit cards - abysmal customer service
Are they crazy? A 72-hr response time and no phone escalation path? I own several thousand shares, hopefully for the long haul, but this makes me nervous.

KNOw3 great try but you should first go post some messages on some other boards and build up some post then come back and try and be a basher or something, try to trick us at least. Don't make it so known. You should possible use that 888 number I have called it before and got through to just see things like that. You might have out dated information.

You are wrong smoky and devildawg. I've never used this site before. I'm a legit individual trying continuing to exercise DD on a potential long-term hold.
What I am asking is this: where is the 888 customer number referenced above? I can't find it on GnF's site, but maybe I'm not looking hard enough.
I think the stock will continue up, but if the customer sat is truly poor, it will be almost impossible for CC to justify expanding into additional stores in Jan.

KNOw3...all of that is typical for a new company. As long as they are taking measures to continue fixing such negative aspects all is well. turnaround time is probably primarily due to shipment centers and stcok. Recently they added one in California and all knows about the recent aquisition of games.
Incorrect charges and abysmal customer service will be due to organiztion. There is recently a much larger demand for service and it is difficult for a small company to respond. Typically demand isn't a problem but for start up companies it can be. From experience, having worked with a start up that had the same problem of too much demand without means of producing enough to meet demand, i can say that these sorts of problems take longer to solve then you would think.
Right now they can hire more people to work customer service but these new employees will cost money and take time to train. It will take time before these new employees can even respond on a personal basis because when they start they won't even know what's going on with the company, therefore, must respond with pre written responses. Then if one quits they must go through the hassle of finding someone new and starting over again. anything can happen when it comes to finding new employees. New companies typically go through MANY employees, that being in the 50's to 100's, before finding a few that are competent. Major companies can deal with incompetent employees but new companies cannot. They RELY on the few eployees they have.
Incorrect charges is due to accounting and it sucks when the accountant makes mistakes because typically with new companies the accountant is an independant contractor which means the accountants mistakes do not necissarily reflect the actual managements diligence.
Everything you've mentioned are TYPICAL problems pertaining to new companies. I would not worry yet. They still have time to make corrections before going national with CC. I just hope they can do it.

People bashing every single person who brings up any negative aspect of this company is getting annoying. How can you feel good about ONLY looking at the high points? Doesn't sound like smart investing to me.

Thank you, KK3, kilberb, and Freddy for setting an example to others by providing a constructive, intelligent response to my original post.
Your points are well taken.
Best wishes,
