Will, I think that that is about average for the restaurant industry. A little more research is needed. Anyone know any good sites where we could find some statistical information about the industry?

Here is some info regarding profit margins - from a Australian report of take-out and cafes...in the report listed, they come up with number between 4.8 - 7%...
I am sure this is not entirely comparable to the US - but at least we have some idea...so QRVI - 18% look very good!!
Cafes and restaurants recorded an operating profit before tax of $334 million, which represented an operating profit margin of 4.8%. The operating profit margin varied by type of cafe and restaurant with the highest operating profit margin being recorded by BYO cafes and restaurants (6.6%), followed by licensed and BYO cafes and restaurants (5.7%) and unlicensed cafes and restaurants (5.6%). The operating profit margin for catering businesses and licensed cafes and restaurants was 4.6% and 3.9% respectively. For 1998-99, the operating profit before tax (excluding caterers) represented an annual return per available seat of $251.

Thanks Upekha...I did a little searching yesterday and didn't come up with much myself. I believe you are correct that 18% looks very good.
Also, with all the talk of not being able to buy, I am glad to see that someone has been able to.

Shares are still hard to get. If you put in an order at 17 for a million shares- you get about a quarter of them and then the price is increased.

Right at the close QRVI had an uptick to .0019x.0021 this is huge because we can ride the 50 Day MA as support all the way to the moon! This is a no brainer double right now.

QRVI has serious penny possibilities with Expansion News and this chart. Breaking the 50-100-200 Day MA's is a big deal. Posts: 720 | Registered: May 2004

Barcharts isnt exactly the best way to trade pinks imo. The chart is spectacular breaking .0028 combined with breaking 70 rsi some bring up alot of alerts for traders.

Our support is .002 and .0018 dont see a drop below .0018 anytime soon. Downside is minimal upside is huge. I can't wait to see a PR hit this thing.

agree, I dont see it going below .0018 either.
But it wouldnt surprise me it we see some (substantial) profit taking at this point before moving higher....
I have written the CEO a while ago, no response it seems that they are too busy running the company...

This is a great buying level at the .0018x.0019. My guess was people got impatient today combined with the huge WDAM run. Almost all the QRVI sells happened in the first 30 minutes of trading. People hopping out of QRVI to play WDAM. We should expect those people to jump back in.

I have been holding for a long term. This is definately not a flipper. However, I think this is a solid company. You can actually visit one of their restaurants and eat! They have increasing revenues and steady expansion with each report.
I think some people thought to jump in a make a quick buck. Not here. Long and steady will win this race.
That being said...A nice PR is overdue LOL
Also... I sent an email yesterday requesting some info about becoming fully reporting (can't imagine why they wouldn't), share structure (some are having difficulties getting filled) and when a nice PR might happen.
whew...I don't usually talk that much...sorry

I always look forward to your posts! No need to apologize.
I am absolutely in agreement with you in terms of a long-term outlook on this one. Even if establish a new baseline * .0015-.0016 I am are still doing ok. I dont want to sound too pessimistic but the 3 days of closing pretty much at the LOD speaks for itself...
