I think this is a non-marginable security with most trading outlets

I am new also. I just started margin, but have not used it yet. Two years ago I opened an account wo/margin with 4,000 dollars, and lost almost all of it. I made a $500 into my account last month, and now have $3400. I'm learning to read the charts, I looked back at my mistakes and seen that they could have been avoided had I paid a little more attention to the charts. This board has been my best learning tool overall!!

Well seeing we're confessing ignorance, I started about eight months ago with a couple thousand and kept adding to about five. I've made about that much more but lost it on dumb impulse buys. The hardest thing for me to learn is to pull the trigger when the signs are bad. And I believe it was Captnemos who said something to the effect that if you believe in the stock, be patient.
But I want to be rich NOW Cap!

Well from what ive gathered, margin trading pinks takes either a lot of money (100K plus in your account), or a direct negotiation with your broker, I thought that maybe Abwatley, mbtrading or trading direct might let you, but i guess im wrong

Ok My turn..

I started with 1800 and bought this company for .003 in feb 2 weeks later i could have sold it for 75,000.

I did make 25000, but i have averaged down alot since i didnt think that this would ever get this low. so now i am at about 8000.

That must have been what it was like in the late 90's, then early 2000's. Just condensed it to 3 months.

I wish i would have saved most of that until now.

Rookie mistakes!!!

The tough part is learning from them.

But patience is a big factor, at least i learned that

Could have had 3 times the shares

I was following a guy named MOMO around. The part that makes me sick was that I got greedy and did not sell at the right time. I could have made money if I would have followed my rules that I had when I started. Before getting into micro pennies I was trading stocks in the .50 to 1.00 dollar range that were at their 52 week low and lots of DD. I was getting out at 4 to 10% profit which was my goal (5000 @ 4% was about 200 per trade). I made money on my first 15 or so trades doing that. That is how I more than doubled my money when I started. Now, I am trying to rebuild. Anyway, we should be doing pretty well soon! [Big Grin]

DOMS on other stocks is characteristically a cd and short seller (comes in at the ask to allow mms to buy to cover, mms can only cover shorts at the ask), when he leaves we should see an uptick

It seems to me that where I and a lot of others go wrong is interpreting the data. I got all excited when ncdp-----(excuse me, I had to go throw up) announced that they had a distribution network. But common sense should have told me that it still takes a while to get products to market. Wish I had more common sense

mms buy shares then sell them to us for the most part, but they can sell borrowed shares at a high price, then cover them at a low (shorting) then the only way for them to recoup is by buying back more shares at that low price usually at the ask on a stagnant stock. Additionally the mms compnay can hold onto shares to sell at a later date, this is what is called bid support say an mmX is on the bid at .01 and mmY is on the ask is at .02, the mmX might be on the ask at .04, hoping to buy shares at .01 and sell at .04, theres a little more to it but thats the basic thought

L2 indicates that short positions been covered , I was hoping company does increses the A/S , that will help tghe PPS by making the stock more liquid . I think most player are seated and the game should start mid of next week .

I dont think we will run unless the company raises the A/S , last week company sold 200-300 mil in open market to let short positions be covered in anticipation of major news , without short positions been covered MMs willhave hard time running it up , now most short position been covered ( I hope) then the company has to raise the A/S so they can sell shares in the run thus provide the stock with liquidity , if I was Alex I would raise the A/S by 500-800 mil , then I would let the news out !! . we just have to wait and see !!

Then next clue would be , if they raise the A/S and you see same MM at the ask and the bid , then that will signal that the insiders are buying !! Wish I know !!

CV . IMO opinion for a pink stock to be liquid and run , the shares out should be around 500-1500 mil shares , of course other factors are involved .

it does make sense. Not much use having 10,000,000 shares if you can't get rid of them

this is my take on 5000 share orders,

alot of brokers don't charge extra fee's (eg. per share fee) for orders 5000 and less.

on my level 2 quotes the size for all mm is 5000.

this could mean 5000 shares or 50,000,000.

I think it is used by mm's also because there can be a ask of .002 x 6 so it looks like a wall but really 5 out of those 6 orders are only 5000 shares.

I think that is why sometimes you see a bounch of 5000 orders in a row.

only my opinion, correct me if I am wrong
