I think he's the whole show.
I found his home address:
Robert Doherty 2220 Pine Breeze Ln Las Vegas, NV 89119-7822 (702) 369-8109
Anyone want to call his house?
I believe the address listed with Pinksheets is the address of his corporation (Office). I am talking to his neighbor in Canada right now. And I am hoping to get the truth about the Dividend early.
According to this person I am talking with He lives in Canada.

United Seeking Additional Projects in Australia
LAS VEGAS, May 09, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- United Development International (OTC:UDVE) announces today that the company will be reviewing additional projects brought to them by a business group from Australia for potential joint ventures and ownership. Company officials will be meeting these partners later this week and will report the viability of potential in a timely fashion. The company wants to ensure all shareholders that any new ventures will not be financed by revenue received from its sales of Guyana assets as these funds are set aside for distribution relating to the recently announced cash dividend.
This dividend will be delivered to all common stock holders of the recorded date of the transfer of funds from the announced sale of Guyana assets of United Development.
United Development International, quoted on NQB Pink sheets as "UDVE".

pure and simple why this stock dropped after the news. For the most part I think it dropped because now the dividend date is now probably not going to be in the near future. There was never any date in the first place but the feeling was that the deal was basically complete and they were going to announce the date very soon. As soon as they said they were reopening negotiations that now gives the impressions to everyone that this is going to be a while till the dividend is coming so the ones that were in for the short term bailed because why tie up your money for several months while they renegotiate.

Could be days. Colud be weeks. Could be months. No One Knows for certain. I would lean toward the sale being finalized in a matter of weeks. Not days or months.
Good Luck to US !

Ok I am probably going to wait until they release an actual DIVIDEND date. Just to be SAFE.
I have done a little research over the weekend and found out that GXXL also from BC CANADA is helping UDVE with there PRs. And I also found out that GXXL had dilluted there shares to oblivion and back AND had done the DREADED Reverse Split.
So CAUTION ! is THE WORD on THIS ONE. Just Until we get a HARD DATE.
Thorn you were right about this one. GXXL is a VERY SHADY company and they are HELPING UDVE.
HMMMMMMMMMMM !!!!

I hate to say it, but this is looking like an endless downward spiral. I was really hoping that it would pan out, but I think it is time to bail until we get more information.

wait about 30 days, let everyone suck every penny they can, if the company is good the stock will rebound from the dividend or r/s. I seen it many times, the price will drop then it will bounce back, if you are not in I wouldn't recommend it, wait 30 days after the processs, I'll be watching this one, just telling what has occurred to me in the past. Made good money by waiting. Did'nt follow my own rule last time and got burnt.

what the pps depends on the divy news. 375 million in the o/s isnt too bad & they said the divy might increase on a new deal so i'd say unless they intend to dump the deal & this was a dilution pr set up shares are not being added into the o/s. if the divy is honest then this drop will speed them up some. no company want to announce a divy almost 100% bigger then the o/s when announced & then see the pps drop. if honest it should lit a fire.

Unless the CEO blatantly lied about the dividend, this stock will be rocketing when the record date is announced. Hopefully it won't be too far in the future!

Thanks!
I think it is a sham but I am waiting for the other shoe to drop. Still think once they are finished dumping that they will put out a PR that states they are finalizing a deal that will pay X amount per share cash divy. Then once it runs up they will say the deal fell through. I want to be in the run up and get out before they dump it the second time. I don't think the pump and dump is done on this one yet. Has to be getting close to the bottom out point though.

hmm, this one just dumped. Keep an eye out for the bounce. If it goes down to 6 or 7 I would jump in for a quick ride.
