Monday May 2, 9:30 am ET
Leading distributor of motorcycle anti-theft systems adds SmarTire to its product line

RICHMOND, BC, May 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - SmarTire Systems Inc. (OTCBB: SMTR - News) today announced that ICA Security Systems is distributing its SmarTire for Motorcycles product in France. ICA Systems is the largest manufacturer and distributor of motorcycle alarms and anti-theft systems in the French market with over 1000 dealers across the country.

SmarTire for Motorcycles is an active tire pressure and temperature monitoring system that provides real-time tire information to the rider while the bike is in motion. At a push of the button, SmarTire displays each tire's pressure, temperature and pressure deviation. "We welcome the opportunity to distribute SmarTire's innovative tire monitoring system for motorcycles in France," says, Philippe Aubeges, Chief Executive Officer of ICA Systems. "SmarTire for Motorcycles fits very well into our overall strategy to expand into safety related products in addition to our security and anti-theft products. ICA's established dealer base can also provide the necessary installation and servicing required to support the introduction of this product into the French market."

About SmarTire Systems Inc.

SmarTire is capitalizing on the rapidly emerging OEM and aftermarket opportunities. The company's vision is to become the preeminent provider of wireless sensing and control systems for vehicles worldwide. Incorporated in 1987, SmarTire has offices in North America and Europe.

I got in today @ .18, and it has been holding over that point all day, so I would like to see this close over .19, would be nice, .20 would be even better. So, you guys are thinking .30 possibly by Friday? (sounds good to me)

I am hoping for above .26 tomorrow. Then I think it may drop a little, and possibly regroup. I'm holding and hoping.

I guess the dips and what not are good, but this company looks like it has a lot in store.

Seeing 2.50 - 5.00 in 24 months. Best looking hold on this board. My .02
opinion, but you would soon be a million ahead if you would short most of
my buys. Don't buy more than you can aford to lose. SMTR is looking to be
a winner.

Very good advice. The tread act is here now and the need for this product will ramp up big time.

SMTR will get their share of contracts. People may want to scalp a little but soon it will be to high for them to buy in great bulk. This is a company with over 18 years experience and former nasdaq stock..not your typical otb stock..

good luck to all. I have enjoyed your posts..please visit us at raging bull for more discusion on smtr........

Yepper! The next two days should be sweet I strongly believe. Thursday we'll probably drop 10 cents or so. Let's get ready to sell in a few days and buy more on Monday. SMTR has been overbought for 2 weeks now and it continues to climb despite it.

I think we'll see a high of .24 today and close the day around .22. Tomorrow I am hoping for a close around .27-.28. We'll have to wait and see what happens.

The trend is still up!!!
