Hi stinker,
Sorry, I'm not a technical person--can't answer your questions. However, have you read the info on Allstocks homepage? Also, barcharts has some information too. Good luck.
PALM SPRINGS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 14, 2004--Q Television Network (OTCPK: QBID), the nation's premiere 24/7 gay and lesbian television network, today announced that in addition to the previous announced test of its signal by satellite, that it has reached agreement for the test to be telecast in New Orleans on Cox Channel 10. The signal will be available in over a quarter million homes in the 4 major parishes. In addition Q Television Network announced that it reached further agreement for carriage of this sample sneak preview on KHCV-TV, carried on the Comcast Cable system channel 15, throughout Western Washington, including Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia and Everett up to the Canadian border, with a reach of 1.6 million households.
I know it's old news but it makes one wonder. Perhaps Mr. Olsen and crew were able to patch things up with Comcast?
It took six long years, but gay network Q Television is finally up. Technically speaking. Too bad no one is watching. The Palm Springs, Calif.-based network sends programming to a satellite, where it's available to cable or DBS operators that want to carry it. So far, all have passed.
Q Television, which is composed largely of an eight-hour wheel of old movies and TV reruns, has had a deal with Time Warner Cable for eight months. The catch: It's only a "hunting license." The network has to persuade each local system to take the channel.
Mentioning Time Warner sounds nice. I haven't found anything yet talking about the Dish Network. I would post the rest of that article but they require you sign up for their pay service.
Sorry if you feel this is irrelevant. Just some food for thought. Matt

If you research the KeepMedia, the second article sounds to me to have something against Q. This was before the network was even ready. They just started hard launch. By the way I posted on the last board were Q was getting a 4000 movie libary. Can't really see how that would fit on one real of film. On top of that I have never heard of a TV re-run announced on Q. They have live shows with original broadcasts. The First article is old news.

Q Television's explosive growth continues as the company is also in the process of finalizing the deal for its 4000 title movie library. Q Television is now live in San Francisco, Manhattan and Boston on Channel 255.

permanentjaun, good post. If Comcast had an agreement to carry QTN's signal for a soft launch, I can almost gaurantee they would want to carry the network now. When? Who knows. But it just makes sense we may have Comcast.

i've wondered a few times in here about cox & comcast. ya'd think they would carry it after the testing. was also wondering if the new interactive talk show had callers. 1 post said the hosts were matching up better as they went but didn't say anything about ppl calling in. a thought about not being scrambled, frank wanted all area's to get a free preview period but since RCN hasn't launched chicago or D.C. that might be holding up the scramble. RCN sure seems in need of reducing the bags of chit maybe even try to get it all in 1 bag.

Good morning all. Been away from the board a while. We are moving in the right direction and will be fine here shortly. The only problem is that I don't want to own $300,000 worth of another company if Q sells. I want to own this company. I know it would be a great $ decision. Hope he stays and works to make this network a giant in television and in pps. Frank, don't sell in the near future.

Frank isn't going to release any great news until he has finished the buy back on Friday. Great time to buy between now and then. Long time holder. Been reading a lot, just decided to come out of the weeds. IMHO.

I have no clue if today is the day or not. Im just looking for a positive outlook. We had a run last week then a big gap to fill. It looked like we hit base, had 2 good PR's come out and still on down trend.
Now that is not a bad thing because we all know where this stock is going and its a good time to buy more stock, avg down ect.
I know we are looking for a PR end of week about the buy back. I was just looking to get others thoughts on the down trend we are in,when you think it will turn around, and if you think it will take more then a buy back comp PR to do the trick?

Trav. Buy more if you can afford to lose what you put in. Now is a great time to buy, it will not stay at these prices for very long. Even at 5 cents this is a great buy. Wish I had more $$ to buy some more. Good luck and go Q.

Yeah didn't Frank state that Q Network was going be in 25% of the country at the beganing of 2005? My guess is that right after the buy back he is gonna announce those additional contracts. I remember when he said I wish that I can tell you guys all the great news but I can't. Hopefully he will be able to after friday. I need to get dis money.

I'm just wondering why we're going down .0005 or more a day instead of what we were doing before the run. I bought in at .0029 and within a week and a half it had only dropped to .0025. I just wish it set up base camp for now and just wait for that PR. If the drops are from selling, those are some of the most stupid investors I've ever seen. We're obviously going somewhere big very soon.

We are in great shape. Don't pay attention to post from bashers on the the other boards. They want you to feel anxious about your decision to buy QBID. I am not selling. My average is .006 I'm sure QBID will surpass that many times.

I said it Friday and Monday that we needed to dip to relieve some selling pressue and build a new momentum, but both days there was a PR surge that caused spikes and more daytrading. This was exactly what we needed. RSI is finally coming to 50. I hope it bounces off. I think now we can look forward to a break even day tomorrow and hopefully days of small gains leading into the news everyone is looking for.
