Been in Q since april, can't remember the last time this traded so sluggish. Almost feels like something or someone holding it back in anticipation...

I intend to get a sirus radio soon probably in the new year, unless some surprises me with one before then.
I like the idea of it i drive to Toronto a lot from where i am and i have to changer stations about 5 times. and there is an area that only has classical music. it drives me right batty

One more note on the Sirius radios... I posted a topic for SIRI about a month ago letting all know that SIRI will soon be announcing that they will deliver video signal to the new line of units coming out. You will have 8 TV channels in your car!

I have a large position in QBID, and swing it quite a bit. Great stock and should have some great promise moving forward. I think it'll be on Dish or DirectTV shortly....JMHO

Well, I think I can prove O/S and buyback amount. Heres it goes.
Facts: In Feb 2004 the O/S was 7.5 Billion with Frank owning approximately 4 Billion Shares and Float was 3.5 Billion shares. A/S was 15 Billion
SO around 4 Billion Frank 3.5 Billion Float
Total O/S 7.5 Billion
After pps increased the Stocks was diluted by 2 Billion shares to 9.5 Billion O/S. 1 Billion shares sold on open market over a period of time and 1 Billion to Frank so he Maintained majority ownership.
So around 5 Billion Frank 4.5 Billion Float
Total O/S 9.5 Billion
June there was a loan given to Q to buy movies and rights to the gay games. In exchange for this loan 6 Billion Restricted shares was issued for collaterial on the loan. The A/S was increased to 50 Billion to support the collaterial and take over and merger protection.
So around 5 Billion Frank 4.5 Billion Float 6 billion restricted
Total O/S 15.5 Billion
Over the last few months a buyback of shares occured for a total of 1 Billion shares completed Dec. 10th 2004.
So Around 5 Billion Frank 3.5 Billion Float 6 Billion Restricted
Total O/S 14.5 Billion
Now that the Buyback is finished Frank can retire 1 Billion shares he issued himself to maintain majority back in May 2004. So One year later we are back were we started with 7.5 Billion plus the restricted that will never hit the market.
So in Early 2005 One year later
4 Billion Frank 3.5 Float 6 Billion Restricted
Total O/s by Feb. 2005 13.5 Billion with 50 billion A/S and float of 3.5 Billion
And since we went to .03 with this exact float back in April with only hope. Now that we are a Network that is on the air and have great live shows. Then there is no reason we shouldn't be over a penny right now and looking at a dime soon. So forget about the restricted shares. Once loan is paid off, they will be retired any way. So you can look at the company as having a O/S of 7.5 when trying to figure Market Cap. Now that most companies pps is about twice as high as Actual value then we could if everything comes together see a $1.00 per share. But thats as high as I can see it going without some type of change. But future buybacks with Frank retiring equal amounts could change the forecast to much higher amounts.

Can't wait until Frank releases a PR like MLON CEO did! MLON sitting at .0023.

Still don't understand why they wouldn't release a pr about the o/s though. They have to be hiding something. I do believe we may get a nice surprise sometime in the future that exceeds all expectations of how well they did on restructuring the shares. I do agree with Ric on what he has presented. To me, that is the worst case scenerio. I'll be expecting fewer than 13.5 billion o/s come february, or 7.5 billion if you don't want to count the 6 billion "in institutional hands."
Until we get a PR about the shares I would say do not worry about it any longer. We're not going to get an answer and it really isn't important right now. Look to get answers from QTN about their business strategy and goals. Are they planning bigger and better things than we expected? How are they going to put QTN in 25% of the market by January?
I may have said, expect better results in any future PR about the o/s, but don't be dissappointed if we don't get a PR on the 20th about a carrier. I haven't found any reason as to why this isn't just a blatant rumor. I don't mind rumors myself but this one has no reason. Why would the 20th be the date of the pr? There is nothing in any pr's from the past, the cc, etc. that would hint at the 20th. Don't think I'm saying the carrier won't come. If they want to be in 25% of the market come january, we will need another carrier soon.
That is why I feel we should be looking for answers about the goals of QTN and where Frank wants to take it. What is the strategy of putting QTN out, not to just the US, but the world. Getting into 150 markets in a year and a half is going to take a lot of hustle and bustle.
So this is what I have to say: 1. Don't expect a PR come monday. Be surprised when a PR comes monday. 2. Put O/S near the bottom of the QBID priority list. 3. Put strategy, goals, and expected phases of QBID near the top of the QBID priority list. I don't even need dates of when the phases are expected to happen. I'd just like to know where they plan to go. What do they plan to do to be able to broadcast the gay games. It's like they gave us the goal in mind but not how they're getting there. I will request that all dates previously mentioned be fulfilled however.
Anywho, I agree with Ric on the o/s right now. At least right now that is. Matt
