imo... really friggin far. analytical enuff for u? heah.
look at the historical prices. nothing shady about these guys. they simply changed direction. 52 week range: 0.0018 - 0.20 <-- HELLO!
the company is quick to respond to emails, keeps a low profile and has a solid plan.
oh- and i've hit a double on it 3 times now. usually finds support around .013 and runs in a day to .022, when it runs. big gap always in the bid/ask too.

there was a stock split on this one back in January. Did you notice that. Does that play into the picture of .20 ???

--> this company did really well "pinhooking" horses (ie acquiring undervalued yearling thoroughbred horses and reselling them as two-year-olds in training or as racing prospects)but gee, eventually u run outta horses cuz it takes a few years to train them...
--> company sees opportunity to make more money & have less overhead by buying a piece of an online wagering company. (check out the numbers in revenues & growth: "Since its inception in 2001, America Tab has increased the annual amount of wagers it has handled from $19.3 million in 2001 to $102.4 million in 2003. It estimates that in the first six months of 2004 it has handled $59.4 million in wagers, a 23% increase from the same period one year ago. Online Enterprises will receive a fee for each wager placed with America Tab through its web site. Pari-mutuel wagering in the United States totaled over $15 billion last year, of which an estimated $2 billion was conducted via account wagering and online. Over $1 billion in thoroughbreds were sold last year at public auctions.")
--> Consistent with this expanded focus, in January 2004 Phoenix Interests elected to be regulated as a business development holding company and in March 2004 changed its name to its current name.
--> DEC 2003 to FEB 2004 no one is sure of the company's direction. Stock falls from .20 to .04 in Q1 2004. Ouch! I don't see much effect from the split- i htink people just lost confidence & interest for a while.
--> finds support around .013 in Sept.. boing boing boing 100% yoyo for a couple months. =)

The boys on RB are saying that the Tampa Downs opens on Dec 11th and they beleive that PHXI will have its online betting in place for that date so hence a PR should preceed it. If she goes back down a bit I am going to grab some more
Tamp Bay Downs Open is Saturday 11th and it's Barn66's first online wager race. I'm expecting a PR before weeks end pumping their site before the race and hopefully one after with the revenue from the weekend.

The mm's tried to shake week hands yesterday but because the OS is so low there is no one really selling. Had 4+ mill in volume yesterday and most were buys. I'm thinking, this will pop before weeks end (likely end of Thursday and all day Friday) right before the race on Saturday, their first site active online wager race.

Just emailed Barn66 to find out the details of their account wagering site and got this response:
"Thanks for your inquiry. SEC rules prohibit me from providing you with material information ahead of the rest of the market. We appreciate your interest in the company and will have a press release soon which should answer your questions."

News should be Today or Tommorrow first betting online at Tampa Downs opens on Dec 11 I really think people are missing out on a great oppertunity here. 20 mill shares and % of each bet placed goes straight to bottom line. as well there may be Slots in the near future

Too many huge movers this week which were a distraction. When this does move it will go up fast. There aren't enough shares.

The information from there is that PHXI is testing it's software for wagering and they don't know if they are going to make the opening of the racing season here at Tampa.

No but I wish someone close there would pop in and ask a couple of the regulars if they have even heard of the online gambling comming. It would be sort of a field survey,
I think that once they can start betting online that the stock will respond favourvaly, sepecially if they are up in time for the opening of the racing season. Online gambling - what an easy way to make money!

The interview was two weeks ago (12/2/2004)
Besides the interview, there is also a short introduction:
Phoenix Interests, Inc. (formerly Thoroughbred Interests, Inc.) is a business development company focused on investing in small, cash-flow positive businesses across a range of industries, the initial focus being the gaming and entertainment industries. The Company intends to make strategic investments in startup, development-stage, and, in certain circumstances, distressed companies with perceived growth potential. Based in the Louisville, Kentucky area, the Company's core historical business has been acquiring undervalued yearling thoroughbred horses and reselling them as two-year-olds in training or as a racing prospect. This is commonly referred to in the thoroughbred industry as "pinhooking." The Company is currently looking to expand within the thoroughbred industry beyond its core pinhooking activities. The Company is also currently implementing new strategic corporate initiatives along with exploring potential acquisition candidates in gaming, entertainment and other sectors. Consistent with this broader focus, in January 2004 the Company elected to be regulated as a business development company.

The message board at RB for this stock is either down or dosen't exist anymore. The betbarn66 website has changed to tell betters how easy it is to register and bet online?
