I just got off the phone with Comcast. I asked if they were planning on including QTV in their fall line up. Here's the response.......

At first the gentleman I spoke with said he had never heard of QTV. I said, "Oh I heard a rumor that Comcast was going to carry the channel."

He asked me to hold while he checked with his supervisor. WHen he came back on he sounded surprised and said, "Here is what I can tell you, we are currently in negotiations with QTV and cannot release any information until all of the i's are dotted and t's are crossed, but it definitely sounds like Comcast has an interest in carrying the channel. "

He went on to say that he didn't know if it would be in the fall lineup or not, but that when it becomes official and all of the documents are in place, there will be a press release and news coverage.

SO there you go folks. I heard that straight from the big kahuna's mouth. It appears that all we have to do is wait for that official PR!!

I wouldnt say we have time warner yet but if you notice the phone number on the full page ad in the desert sun paper and ad area code 760 you will get time warner out there and the lady said that the marketing department told her anyone calling with regards to that add should leave their name and number and reason they are calling.

sounds like time warner is doing a survery to see if QTN will be in enough demand to add them or not IMHO

well I dont normally try to predict the future but if we land comcast and time warner I believe if memory serves Me right comcast has 3 million subs and TW has 10.9 plus RCN's 486,000 that is 14.38 million subs and 10% of that is 1.4 million.

so with those 3 major carriers I see a quarter possible by christmas.

well ocean 11 said there may be posts on the Q website this week or on the hotline( and there was another post on the website) I tend to give ocean 11 some credibility so I am thinking since he said thursday or friday a PR that is what I am kinda expecting/hoping for.

It's not a special number for the ad. but she did ask why I was calling and I said about QTV. She said oh, yes about the ad that is running and said, The marketing dept. wanted to take information about the callers. Name, Phone # and where I was located.

Call your local Cox cable number. Some cable companies have different request numbers. If they don't have Q Television Network and you want to request, don't be shy and ask for it.

called cox in enid oklahoma a week or two ago not sure and the aldy definitely had never heard of QTN her supervisors were out to lunch she asked that I call back

I called back and was put on hold she said she was sorry but noone at that office had ever heard of it and I am sure she was telling the truth
