Ok here we go, my brother who works for Prudential Securities and I had a long talk about this QBID stock. Mind you he has his licences and had been doing investment consulting for a few years now. I think he charges $700.00 just for one sit down. Be that as it may, he will not take this stock seriously. His income last year was around $120k not bad but not great either. He will not buy invidual stocks because he feals it is too much of a risk. So here is the meat of it, is anyone really making money off these Penny Stocks and do any of them break the $10.00 mark or is that completely unheard of.

Here's my experience: no reputable broker for a large firm will back this stock. Why? They don't even bother to spend the countless hours researching, because these are pinksheets, and therefore not subject to the same gov't regulation as most stocks. That turns the big guys off. IMHO.
I consulted with the biggest of the big media giant investor gurus on wall street. Just fished around through my network of friends to get input on QBID. They all came back with "too risky- don't bother, it's a scam" but not one could give me a reason. NOT ONE PERSON said blahblah about volume, blahblah about pps, blahblah about FCC regulations...
I say form your own opinion. Pinksheets are not long holds for the most part. They need TLC, daily attention, and tons of DD. Ride 'em up, trade 'em off, and take your profit asap. Yes, there are exceptions to every rule, and QBID is my exception, but I continue to do my DD every day to make sure that my decision to hold is the right one given the current info available to me.
Risk is par for the course here. Risk versus reward. Simply put, those who are "schooled" in the art of big investing for large corporations can't take the risk. Again, my opinion. Good luck in your trading! ~BB

you can make money, I'm up and doing ok for the last month or 2 my first few months I "invested" making nothing. mostly losing. Now, I mainly trade and If I like a stock a lot, I attempt to trade it often and keep free shares each time.
I don't stoploss my free shares and plan on holding until deathly news kills them or they leave the bb for other markets.

As many point out on this board, Microsoft was a penny stock at one time. That said very few penny stocks will ever make it and if you get lucky you will fing one. I guess the biggest problem with penny stocks is the fact the Outstanding Shares, O/S, is very high for a lot of these stocks making it very hard for them to become $10.00 a share without a reverse split. Qbid is one of those stocks with 7.5 billion or more O/S it hard to see it ever being more then a .15 stock. Now before I get jumped for that it is a 1000% GAIN if it did that and how many stoicks can say they did that.
I think there are some real good stocks to make money on in the pennies. I am up 38% for the year and made a bad mistake on a stock a couple weeks ago or I would still be 70% up. Thats the nature of pennies though. I have made money on QBID, GZFX, WNMI, SSWH, NNCO and others I made short swing trades on. GZFX is the only one that I am holding long right now but I am considering a couple more. If you do your DD and watch the board for good swings (but do your own dd) then you can make good money at this. But the key in pennies is getting out at the right time.
If I make a killing off this stock I will send all of my brothers soon to be ex- investers your way, jk... I don't want to get tossed out the family just yet. On a side note I check out your web site mainly because you listed it. For all of you people taking BB advice and critisim you should take the 15 min to view the site listed on her e-mail. She even contracted a super model to post all kinds of pictures there... This has been fun and thanks again for the helpfull tidbits of knowledge.

Thx for looking DJ! You're welcome for the insight, but that's what this forum is all about. We've all been new to the game at some point, and this is the best forum for keeping it real!
But.. CONTRACTED a super who? You do realize that's me on there, and I created my own website? I don't want to be misleading.

Rics, Microsoft was NEVER a penny stock! It opened 21 bucks back in 1986. The chart you pulled off on MSFT is adjusted for forward stock splits. Without stock splits, a single share of MSFT would be any where between 7000-9000 dollars a share. The chart is adjusted to this valuation.

And another thing to add about Microsoft..... when it became public, it did not open with Billions of shares OS (or for that matter with Gates as a Billionaire). The 10 Billion OS MSFT now has came about through the many F/S' throughout the years.
