Starting a new topic for UVCL. This stock is a wonderful ride, its gone from under a penny to 17 cents before, They had some CD issue, which as been resolved, apparently there was no issue. Stock has started moving back up, and this topic is for those who are looking for the major ride back to 17 cents or close.

Looks like we have lift off. Somethings been happening with this one for the last two days. My ticker shows over 9 million traded today although it did that yesterday too and wound up with 5 million. Anyway, doing good today.

Against my judgement, I chased a bit and got in at .015
I sold off alot of stock today for a loss. I hope this runs good. I need it. I'm a little nervous because of the spread. NITE was doing some funny things towards the end.

StockMinister & Ricks1997, FEAR NOT! Your invesment will definitely be rewarded on Monday! This late surge will most assuredly result in Gap, and this stock has gotten a lot of attention late today, and I'm sure more buying will take place Monday. Now.......have a nice weekend.

I hope you are right. I wish this run happened earlier today.
Will - you are cautious about this one huh. I do not blame you.
I just noticed that they are a local company not to far from where I work here in Baltimore.

The cd conversion caused the downward spiral. All are converted and mm's have really cheap shares. People sold for huge losses from the October run. They are ready to play finally.

No news, no nothing, Minister. A few people show up out of nowhere after an 82% increase? The only DD I saw was "the charts don't lie". Everything looks great for now, but I have been lured in to other plays that looked good too. If it was someone experienced with allstock whiskers touting it, I would jumped right on it. I made money on ONEV by having faith in Glassman. There will be a lot more plays next week. I'll either find them on my own, or rely on the judgement of someone I know and trust. To me after moving up 82% it just might be a good time to be cautious. I could be wrong, but how often do you see them retrace and fill that sudden rise in price?

You're probably right. This stock has a history of doing this. It sits for weeks with no volume, no movement, no nothing then all of a sudden it takes off for a day, two at most and then its right back to where it started. I hope it's different this time around but I doubt it.

I think many people are new to this stock, but I have been following it since last year. From observing it closely, I dont think this is a long term investment stock, but it can be extremely profitable for a quick two to three day play, because of the way it shoots up with the slightest buying. The new thing about UVCL is that the CD issue is out of the way. The prospects of UVCL going up like this after May 7th were always high, since the CD issue was to be decided by May 7th. Well the CD's expired, and the dilution never occured, and the interest is back. Might be worth the risk, if it goes to 15/17 cents, which it has the potential to do, this will be a 10-15 bagger. Just play short term, a like two or three days, and you should be good. If its too risky, dont play
All in my humble opinion.

Been in UVCL for 8 months - I don't know WHAT to make of this - but BE careful. It ran on nothing from .01 to .17 in 4 days last OCt. -
If it runs - keep your eye on it and your finger on the trigger. ANd if you want to Play it - Play it. This is NOT a long term hold. THere are MANY of us STUCK here who's average pps is anywhere from .02 to .12, and believe me - they WILL be selling if it runs like we all hope it will!

Lovethemarket, once again, the stock went down last year because they announced that they might dilute their shares, causing many to stay away. That is now out of the way, the company has confirmed there will be no more dilution. I expect to see more trading on this stock now. Regardless of anything, the fact is, this week should be very profitable, and yes the a rerun to 17 is on the cards, and with no more bad news, maybe more? AIMHO.

Subpennygirl - I'd LOVE to see this back over .10 and MORE.
Apparently you were NOT on the Conference Call 2 months ago when he (CEO Sean Fulda) said he has discussed a Reverse Split and it has NOT been ruled out. Isn't imminent either - but we never know. I. personally will NEVER hold any of these little stocks long term again. NOt even an Ibiz. I WILL trade the hell out of them though.

Brian, for the purpose of trading you should trade off float rather than outstanding shares. Outstanding shares is the total number of shares put out by the company, which means the shares for insituitional investors, insiders (stock options etc) plus common stock. The float, refers to the shares in the market of common stock which are available for trading to the common investor e.e us. The float affects the share price, not necessarily outstanding shares. The float on UVCL is 20 million, and to the best of my knowledge was 20 million when it last went to 17 cents. Posts: 52 | Registered: May 2004

approx 5 millions shares shorted on this stock, and another 4 million on Friday. That is what i think after watching level 2. If this closes high tomorrow, Tuesday could be buyback day. All the best people

How high do you anticpate this by the end of the week. I sure hate to chase this thing tomorrow only to get burned when it pulls back on Tuesday. But by the same token, I refused to chase ONEV. I could have got in at .03 only to watch it go to .16 on the sidelines. 20 million float is not bad at all.

Briwadd,
I would recommend watching it a bit on Monday. This stock did run up to .17 last September or October on no news but since then it has had quite a few one to two day pops of 100% or more only to fall right back and sit dead for a few months. If it gets to .025 or so and holds for a few hours, you might consider jumping in. That seems to be about where the sell-off has begun in the recent past. Good luck!

Briwadd, if it closes high tomorrow, the one very important thing will occur. The MM's will have to do what is called a settle, ie settle their shorts according to the closing price. If the closing price is high enough, or close to or higher than their shorting price, they will have to buy back shares at the ask the following day.
If that happens, Tuesday will see a buyback, rather than a pullback. I think that happened wiht ONEV. I know UVCL has been shorted, but i dont know how much, Navia seems to have a better idea.
Regardless, my DD shows the MM's did try to keep the price down, exaclty how much theyve shorted i dont know for sure. I'm hoping for the buyback to happen. Let's see
