35 (36 in October), married, two kids.
Been "interested" in the stock market for a couple of years.
Started really trading about a year ago.
Played with pennies for a few weeks, absolutely not knowing what I was doing.
I'd just check out the stocks with the highest trading volume on CNN Money and throw my money at one of them.
Made some money (VRA during the SARS crisis), lost just as much.
Started looking for something based on good DD/analysis than sheer luck. Got into Biotech. Good plays with a good source and patience. Made some $ with ONXX, DSCO. But important investment capital needed to make really good $.
Started again looking for something both affordable for someone with only a few $K to invest and still based on good DD/analysis than sheer luck.
Came accross a post pumping IBZT (rightly so)
in Dec03 (it was at 0.004 then, starting to run) while on Yahoo DSCO board. Jumped into the IBZT bandwagon @ 0.0059. Saw it fly to 0.08 on the during the CES. Got awestruck by the potential in pennies. Looked for good information sources and msg boards. Found RB (hum), FreeRealtime, then ALLSTOCKS (Thanks Godness). Realized it's possible to get some top quality DD on pennies.
Took all my money off small caps and blue chips.
All pennies now: IBZT, GZFX, QBID.
Have done pretty well so far.
Hope to get into more pennies and have the patience to ride some of them up to a buck and more.

I have learned a lot through the posts here.

God bless.

one in Germany the other recently returned from a year in Iraq. I am new to this and mostly I'm sitting back and learning. I do have a retirement account that I had to set up for myself because a person could actualy starve on the county pays in retirement. Just looking for another way to increase my funds. I've always been a risk taker just not a foolish one.

I'm 24, student ... work part time at UPS(back breaker)

1. learned to use ms frontpage to build free porn sites and made money
2. Met girl on internet and she had a sharebuilder account therefore I had to have one too. Figured sharebuilder wouldn't workout well for an active trader
3. used porn profits to fund brokerage account at mytradz.com
4. browse through raging bull message board and found out about QBID and WLSF(wellstone filters)
5. bought 65,000 shares of QBID at 0.003 and it plummet to 0.0001 (I didn't know to buy more at that price) and bought WLSF at 0.66 and sold at 0.87 and by again the same day at 0.88(learning)
6. Later sold WLSF at $3.00 profit $600 and here I am now

7. currently holding CMKX USCI QBID SRCI PKCY LBTT PDNW NIVM LPLHA IBII HRMX GWDL GMZC GFYF TFCT(watchout next week prizewise.com launch) OMOG /

I owned GFYF too... got out at .0043 and made a pretty good sum of money. LBTT is going to do wellno doubt. As for CMKX... if they don't find any diamonds then at least they still have a racecar. I am in Ontario as well... Toronto exactly where r you ?

...from Ottawa, Canada. 32 yrs old this year. Married, 2 kids. Have invested in pennies for a few years now... but more seriously within the last year. Work for the gov't of Canada but wish I could trade fulltime... and sometimes VERY seriously consider it... but just too scary. I trade now to supplement my income. Just bought a triplex apartment building with last year's winnings. Multiple streams of income, right?
Most of my eggs are in CDVJ right now... by far my favorite company NO MATTER WHAT ANYONE ELSE SAYS!! This one will make me rich by year's end. Also have some eggs in ADPR, poised to release their financial statements within a week. A quick look will tell you this one will blast off as a result.

18 year old from Arkansas... made my first trade over a year ago when I gave my dad $200 to put into SIRI, and that was back in the golden prices of $1.16. So, I have made alittle over 200% profit from SIRI so far with my money still in.. Took a bit of a loss recently with SFCI, but hey... TSBB is going to make me it back!

37 - Self-employed Handyman
Just raised my hourly repair rate from $65 to $85 hoping people would quit calling so I can sit home and daytrade. It didn't work, so I'm gonna take a little 'vacation.'

Turned $6,000 into $17,000 (QBID) in the last few months. I'm hooked

Trading has replaced a 20-year drug addiction for me. I'm clean & sober two years now.

I'm an ex-actor/comedian. Pisces. Often horneeey... And I've gone too far...

32 full time trader, did my PhD in business from Columbia. I worked for a corporate firm for about 3 years, and started trading stocks and options on Nasdaq. Made some money, my fiance introduced me too penny stocks. I quickly learnt that penny stocks gave you the greatest profits with the smallest investment in the shortest amount of time. Since then I've been making money. usually play a couple of picks at a time. I prefer volatile, breakout picks. I believe in indepth DD, the know what you trade kinda philosophy. All in all I enjoy sharing research and information here on all stocks, and think the member are great and the atmosphere nice and relaxed.

35 Going on 36 in July. A LEO.
About myself: I am Single and LIVE in the San Fransisco California BAY AREA. My username is "Earth_Shaker" because I live in the ultimate Earth shaking Area. And I am a BIG man. I am a Managing Owner of a Franchise. Maybe you all heard of it? A DOMINO'S PIZZA Franchise. The "pizza" business is very competitive these days. So I decided to start Daytrading about a half a year ago. I thought maybe I could Trade Stocks every hour and play the ride as stock went up and down. I now know thats not how it always works. Back then I stumbeld onto this ALLSTOCKS thang while desperately looking for information about Pennystocks. My first stock that I purchased was QBID then PAVP. I made money with PAVP just before it took a nose dive. Then when I played QBID I was easily shook by the market makers and sold for a LOSS way back when QBID was trading for about .002 ish. Boyyy i sure have learned a lot since my first introduction to Pennies. And I wish I held onto those original Shares of QBID stock I owned back then. I now know how to watch the pennies and wait for them to bottom out. Then BUY it at Bottom or CLOSE TO BOTTOM instead of Chasing them and losing money.

Two Fortune Tellers that I ahve seen here in SanFransisco (I am Superstitious) have looked into my FUTURE and told me that I would be very successful and that my STAR would soon be shining. I figured my PIZZA Business would be my vehicle for success. But now that I think about it MAYBE its going to come from CMKX "WOW", QBID "WOW", TSBB "STILL WAITING".

GLTA you all are wonderful people. I wish only the best for ALL of you and good fortunes to us ALL.

The Earth_has_Shaken !!! Earth_Shaker

P.S. Just a little Pick that I would like to share with you ALL:

GFYF is the pick. Last time it was down to .0007 it stayed down for about two weeks then SHOT UP to .0071 "A TEN BAGGER". And GFYF has done this twice before. I have read of some people "Pissed off" because they bought GFYF at .0043 or SO and LOST a LOAD because it TANKED! BUT THIS is exactly what I meant when i said I have learned to BUY at the bottom and not in the middle to JUST LOSE MONEY !!!! WATCH stocks closely and LOOK at THE CHARTS

I would play it but I have all my extra money already IN PLAY...

!!! Cheers !!!!!

guess I'm the only Brit here.
26 and just finished studying music production. theres no jobs in the music industry and i'm just a dreamer really.
thats why i'm into the pennies.
played with some UK tech stocks, had a £1500 invest turn into £9000 and managed to bail out before the tech market crashed back in 2000.
pretty much blew all that, plus a nice accumulation of debts from studies i'm now facing the reality of work and dreaming about cmkx paying off my £20k debt.
but hey dreams dont cost a penny

Hi, I am 34 and an electrician in the Air Force. I am fairly new to trading. I started a little over a month ago. I was introduced to QBID through a relative and have fallen in love with trading. It is quite a rush. I can retire from the Air Force in 6 years and I hope to trade full time after that.

36 I think.........Always lying to students kind of forget...

been in here since Jan, held some Dogs (no offense Dar) for a while hoping for Pr's like an idiot. Sold all the dogs about 1month maybe 2 months ago, since then I've basically double my starting money. Plan on doubling again soon.

Always anounce my screwups and misplays It helps me to not do them again, don't usually announce winnings, bragging is less fun

18 from NY. I started buying and selling about two months ago. I am still in high school and we were learning about the stock market so I thought I would give it a shot. One of my science teachers is really into it and he told me about allstocks.com and I dont regret it one bit. My first stock I bought was qbid. I sold it after it went up a little to make a $50 profit. That was my first profit ever and I was happy. I was sick and tired of always going to the casino and losing money there. I mean sometimes you did leave with some money, but overall I lost more then I won. That’s how the casinos make their money. Here all you have to do is some homework and invest if you think it will do well. I am young and hopefully will learn from my mistakes early on when I don’t have too much invested yet. My dream to be a millionaire by the age of 28. My favorite stocks right now are qbid, cmkx, and tfct GLTA

I am 49, I can't believe it and you wouldn't either. I look much younger. I found the fountain of youth. Exercise-yuck who wants that fountain? Isn't there a pill? I am married to an Actuary who became a Pastor a few years back. I work as a singer songwriter mostly at churches and Christian Coffeehouses and am an Artist Associate with World Vision. Since I have to do my own booking I started trading stocks between making phone calls especially on days when I wasn't getting any good bookings to speak or sing. Trading has been very profitable and fun but now I want to do more of the World Vision speaking and concerts. I love it. They are so unique in that they life whole communities out of poverty through Child Sponsorship. It really works. I have met one of my sponsored kids and seen some of their projects first hand. The financials on how they handle the money are great and put out annually in a report. If the stocks we invest in were half as transparent it would be a different world. I am hoping that CMKX is going to help me retire from active trading and help me do more for World Vision. I plan on finishing the album I started last year and if CMKX is a go I will be cowriting with some of the best in Nashville and the album will have a serious upgrade. The songs I write are slices of life, story type songs that either touch your heart or make you laugh but also have a Christian World View. My personal goal is to get 1000 kids sponsored in the next 12 months. You can visit www.worldvision.org and check out the Hope Child project. If you go to a church and would like contact me for more information about speaking or giving a concert that includes a World Vision presentation you can email me at Tennisaurusrex@aol.com (I am kind of a predator at the net in tennis). Stocks have given me a socially acceptable outlet for the competitve, agressive side of my personality. I enjoyed reading this thread because the ages and occupations of people who post here is sometimes a lot different than I would have guessed. -Debi

Ages range far and wide here I see. Glad to see so many young traders on these boards. I wish I had gotten into this as a teenager or in my early twenties. By the time they are my age they will be controling the markets. As I stated, I'm 43 (that's 301 in dog years) but my wife is 27. Helps keep me young. 50's lookin' younger every day. I'll race across the desert with any of you kids on my quadrunner. Heh Heh. In the words of a famous DOGG.....

Hi, I'm 34,male, married with 4 kids...all boys. Started trading back in October of last year with a play on both IBZT and AFRT (what a bust...smile). Started with a $1000 investment and have managed to see $4k...really new at this but I'm up for the challenge. I currently hold shares in TFCT and will look to add CMKX soon. This is a great site and I wish success to you all!
