Whizknock: fb186 here. Have never posted here, but saw a few messages up that you "lifted" a message I wrote on the Qbid/Ihub board.
I called because I, too, read the rumors that Comcast was gonna carry Qtv. It was the first time I have ever "verified" a rumor. I was glad the Comcast rep knew of Qtelevision, but the message I got was that Comcast was considering--not an absolute. It's important for viewers to call their cable company and request...

I keep hearing different stories about how a buyback can effect the pps.

I can only see the good stuff.

Can someone please explain how it could drive down the price. I don't get it.

Thanks!

I sit here and read all the post and it is driving me crazy. I need to get more QBID. I only have 180k. Not complaining just greedy. If it hits $1 I'll be really happy. 5$ I'll be jumping for joy. $10 I'll be doing the naked good bye dance on the bosses desk. For $20 I'll be on the table of the board of directors doing the kiss me good bye dance. Nice to dream. Hope it sky rockets.

Thanks to all for the information you post on this site. With working all day it is tough to do all the research many of you do here. It really helps out. I don't think any of us here can thank you all enough. Thanks again for all your hard work it is really appreciated.

Thanks Sonny!!!

Now that's what this board is all about.

That was great info, which helped prove that Qbid's buyback can only help.

I wish I knew how many they planned on. Over 5 billion I hope.

Dieseleclass

I took this infoline number from their website w w w. qtelevision . com
just called it again and for sure message has been changed this afternoon.
previous one mentioned number of o\s as aproximately 9bilion and that the buyback process results will be updated around\ after convention in NOLA. Present message provides only info that Frank Olsen will be out of the office ( New Orleans & Seattle trips ), also woman voice encourages caller to contact his cable provider and request\ ask them to visit\ contact QBID stand at the convention etc.

I have no idea why previous message has been changed.

Launch combined with buyback and we all are fine. VERY FINE!

Oh boy, I hope I haven't awakened U4. He sho nuff loves him some O/S debates!

By the way, U4, I like your caps button. It's easy to spot where you're posting, and it's become familiar. People are conditioned to hear yelling, but that's kinda crazy if you get offended by capital letters, eh?

well that's cool.

i just checked the website and the main page is back up there. it's got the toll free number and also a general information number. i called the general info number and it's an office number that says you can leave a message, call the 800 number or visit the wesite and it gives the url. things are moving! i think if you want to buy more shares (like me), a dip tomorrow might be the last chance to buy in at bargain prices. go qbid!

hey guys! i've never actually posted on here (nothing worthwhile to say...newbie and all), but i've been following for quite some time now. to give a timeframe, i got in during the sideways trading around 0.003.

i'm posting now because i tried calling comcast too. the lady i talked to said the station wasn't on her "list" (whatever that means), but that the programming at comcast changes so frequently that they sometimes don't get those updates until a week before.

i find this a little disheartening considering i live so close to what should be a major market (san francisco).

whiz, i need some inspiration...what do we need??? >

FROM WHAT I AM READING, SOME HAVE GOTTEN 9 BILLION OUTSTANDING SHARES FOR QBID. THEN THE CHANGE TO NOTHING ON THE MACHINE.

WELL I PERSONALLY DON'T CARE.

HERE'S WHY:

AS THE ONE'S WHO WILL RECOGNIZE WHAT I SAY HERE WITHOUT ELABORATION: O/S DOES NOT STOP A STOCK FROM GOING UP UP UP. PERIOD.

WILL A BUYBACK HELP? ABSOLUTELY! COULD A BUYBACK ASCEND THE STOCK MUCH QUICKER IN THE ALTERNATIVE OF NOT DOING A BUYBACK? ABSOLUTELY!

I REALLY HOPE AND I PUT THIS IN A POST A FEW UP FROM HERE THAT NO BUYBACK INFO IS RELEASED AT THIS TIME. A BUYBACK WOULD BE BETTER RELEASED AFTER BROADCAST. IF I WAS IN THE POSITION OF FRANK AND EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED IN '01, I WOULD PLAN ON RELEASING BUYBACK DETAILS AT .50 WHICH IS ABOVE THE MARK WHEN '01 FAILED TO BROADCAST.

RIGHT NOW QBID IS WORKING IN THE POSITIVE. LITTLE STEPS GROWING UP AND WE ARE SEEING THE RESULTS RIGHT HERE AND NOW. NEXT TO BROADCAST, A BUYBACK DETAIL(S) IS THE NEXT SIGNIFICANT THING. MY BELIEF WOULD BE THAT ONCE WE SEE THE ACTUAL BROADCAST, WE'LL SEE A TREMENDOUS JUMP IN PRICE BECAUSE WE CROSSED THAT HURDLE WHICH FAILED US BEFORE. ONCE '01 IS IN OUR PERMANENT HISTORY AND BROADCAST IS CONTINUING THEN YOU RELEASE BUYBACK DETAILS FOR THE NEXT BIG THING WOULD BE BUYBACK AND POSSIBLY A HINT OF WANTING TO UPGRADE.

THIS IS WHEN US REALLY LOW ENTRY PEOPLE (ME INCLUDED) ARE LOOKING FOR EXIT. THEN WE CAN ALWAYS WISH WE HAD STAYED IN QBID WHEN IT HITS $30/SHARE ON THE BLUE CHIP MARKET AND CNBC IS TALKING ABOUT THE FUTURE OF QBID ON IT'S DAILY BROADCAST.

BUT THEN AGAIN, US LOW ENTRIES PROBABLY WONT BE WATCHING CNBC OR THE MARKETS ONCE WE EXIT. LUCKY US!

MARCH 3, 2006 OR SOONER

L2 QBID

4X4.00
6X3.99

Booty Quest,
If they bought 5 billion shares at .003 it would have cost them only 15 mil. dollars. They may have, probably , began buying back shares before the PPS was even that high.

I had read somewhere that ther was aprox. 15bil. shares and of that 7 1/2 were held by the company. If there is 9 bil. now that may translate that they have eliminated 6 bil. Pure speculation, but very possible.

All those posts saying that the hotline said 9 billion o/s I believe to be B/S!

I don't want to put anyone down and point fingers, but here's my reasoning...

1) Why...WHY would a company mention that on their promoting hotline!

2) The person who posted originally posted that barely posts on allstocks.

3) All the posters that confirmed they heard this o/s count were "new users".

Again I'm not here to start trouble, just being cautious....it's very easy to post B/S on the net!
Happy trading Qbidders!

Why does the O/S all of a sudden matter?

This thing is up thousands of percentage points for most of you, what difference does it make if it did it on 100M O/S or 100 Billion O/S?

Take your profits and be happy.

Maybe because they're getting 50-100 calls a day asking this very question. Who knows but it doesn't really make since to make that up. Might as well say 12B.

I too heard the 9B o/s recorded message. Yes, I'm a new user and a new trader and have only posted once before, but have been following every thread since .0029 (my entry). I would have no reason to make up what I heard on the recording because I have no clue what it means. Whether it's 9B, 10B or 23B, makes no difference to me. Just my .0029 cents worth.

Beginner and others who don't believe. Look back at all my posts and you will see I do not BS, post negative remarks, or talk about nonsense. I had called the number and heard that lady say 9 billion outstanding shares. As to why they would say that..? I don't know, but I only will post what was said and will not analyze or assume.
Don't believe us if you want but at least we had a chance to hear that.

If you would check this site for updates as much as some of us do - You would of called right away and heard it. But nevertheless, the point here is that they are making progress and will benefit all of us very soon! We will all be friends at the party in Vegas!

Send CASH some money for the QBID trip and sign up for the party on the other post.

Beginner,
I don't guess it really matter what you believe. I can't understand why people think someone would lie about what it said earlier on the hotline. The fact that it was put on there and later changed may just be the company's way of keeping people guessing and getting them to stop calling, since they mentioned getting "several calls" asking about the O/S. I just can't see why it's such a big deal, since there is a buyback and the O/S probably won't much affect this type of stock much for some time to come. And for the record, I am far from a "New User" as you stated "all the posts" are from. Please get you info on the people you are calling liars before you do so. I do not post much because I don't feel that I have much to add considering all of the indepth DD that is already done on this board. I was deployed with the Navy before that and couldn't post when the DD was happening. I was also among the first contributer to Chucks,s trip. I am on the team. Are you?

Sorry for rambling and lowering myself to responding to a post like his, but I really don't like it when just because someone has his info wrong, he calls me a liar. You wouldn't call my a liar in person. I hope today is a great day for all. Go QBID!!

BAD DAY FOR STOCK SCAMS
April 19, 2004 http://www.stockpatrol.com/regulator/articles/badday.html
The Securities and Exchange Commission is taking a major step to assure that investors in tiny over-the-counter companies have access to material information about those businesses and the people who run them.

The SEC is also halting a practice that has allowed many obscure, insubstantial public companies to flood the marketplace with shares.

These developments reflect the SEC’s latest effort to increase transparency in a microcap market that has been a fertile ground for deceptive practices and stock fraud. A series of new rules are directed at public shell companies, which have used existing federal regulations and procedures to avoid disclosure and keep investors in the dark.

On the surface, shell companies can offer an appealing alternative for small private companies that want to become public but are unable to find an underwriter who is willing to handle their Initial Public Offering (IPO). See The Shell Game. They enter into a reverse-merger with the shell that leaves them in control of the surviving public entity.

There are, however, companies that choose a reverse-merger over an IPO for other reasons. These companies are seeking to avoid the exhaustive disclosure that comes with a public offering. In an IPO they would be required to file a registration statement detailing the history of their business, the background of their management team, and the identity of each controlling shareholder. That registration statement also would include extensive audited financial information. In effect, the company and its insiders would be laid naked to the world.

Not every business is eager to make those disclosures, since in some cases the information could motivate the SEC to delay or stop the offering.

Until now, the reverse-merger has enabled private companies to circumvent the disclosure process. The private company gains control of a public entity, but investors are generally flying blind. Historically, companies that merge into shells have not been required to make detailed material disclosures about their business history, management or controlling shareholders. And while public companies that file regular reports with the SEC (which would include every company listed on the OTC Bulletin Board) have been required to file a Form 8-K including audited financial information on the newly acquired private business, all too often that information is delayed, incomplete, or non-existent.

That practice is about to end, thanks to new rules proposed by the SEC on April 13, 2004. Now, after a reverse-merger, the former shell will be required to file a Form 8-K that includes all of the disclosures that would be required if it were registering a class of securities under the Securities and Exchange Act of 1934. In other words, a reverse-merger will no longer be a method for evading disclosure. The curtain will be lifted and investors will have access to material information that is likely to affect their investment decision.

It is about time.

There is yet another reason for investors to rejoice. The SEC has struck a decisive blow against an insidious tool that has been utilized by stock schemers to obtain registered shares that can easily be dumped on an unsuspecting marketplace.

Over the past several years, Form S-8 Registration Statements have been overused, misused, and often abused. The Form S-8 differs from most other registration statements in one fundamental respect – it becomes effective immediately after it is filed with the SEC. Traditional registration statements – such as those used in connection with IPOs – are subject to rigorous review by the SEC, and must be revised, sometimes several times, in response to SEC comments and concerns before they are declared effective. Until that time, the stock being registered may not be sold.

Not so with the Form S-8 – which becomes effective without any advance SEC review.

The absence of a review is even more startling in light of the abbreviated nature of a Form S-8, and the broad – vaguely defined – category of potential stock recipients. In short, a Form S-8 can be used to register shares that are issued to an “employee” under an employee benefit plan.

The real rub, however, lies in the definition of “employee,” which includes officers, directors, consultants, advisors – and yes – attorneys. The definition of “employee benefit plan” is equally broad. Rule 405 of the Securities Act of 1933 defines an “employee benefit plan” as:

any written purchase, savings, option, bonus, appreciation, profit sharing, thrift, incentive, pension or similar plan or written compensation contract solely for employees, directors, general partners, trustees (where the registrant is a business trust), officers, or consultants or advisors. However, consultants or advisors may participate in an employee benefit plan only if:

They are natural persons;

They provide bona fide services to the registrant; and

The services are not in connection with the offer or sale of securities in a capital-raising transaction, and do not directly or indirectly promote or maintain a market for the registrant's securities.

In other words, virtually anyone can fall within the definition of an “employee,” and there are few obstacles to constructing an “employee benefit plan.”

As StockPatrol.com has repeatedly noted, tiny companies with virtually no assets, no operations and no revenues utilize Forms S-8 to hand millions of shares to employees and consultants – many of whom are not even identified. Remarkably, Form S-8 does not even require the recipients of shares to be named. The company may simply register as many shares as it wishes for an employee benefit plan, and later hand them out to unnamed individuals whose identity, background, and services are never described. And while companies are supposed to amend the Form S-8, and name those new shareholders once the shares have been distributed, few ever do.

As a result, shares can be issued to company insiders, their friends and associates and so-called consultants who render no discernible services. Investors, and regulators, do not know who is receiving the stock, or if it is going into the hands of individuals who merit further scrutiny.

Some of the potential for these abuses is about to stop. Under the SEC’s newly proposed rules, shell companies will be prohibited from using Form S-8 to register shares for employee benefit plans. Consequently, those anonymous employees and consultants will no longer have a free flowing pipeline of registered stock.

These important rule changes should prove critical to investors. Former shell companies will be required to provide material information about their new operations, on a timely basis, and will be unable to use Form S-8 to register shares that can be dumped immediately after the reverse-merger. In addition, in the absence of a reverse-merger, shell companies will now be prevented from saturating the market with shares of worthless stock in an insignificant enterprise.

The new rules represent an important, even historic step for the SEC, but regulatory efforts should not stop here. The SEC must commit itself to the process of reviewing each Form 8-K and S-8 in order to assure full compliance – and companies that fail to meet these standards should have registration of their shares revoked.

In any case, the architects of stock schemes should be losing plenty of sleep over these developments.

Good Morning Everyone...
I live in Ft. Lauderdale and with a large Gay Community I would think Comcast would carry the "Q Channel"...so I called and sent an E to my Cable provider...
One out of two reps on the phone did hear of the "Q" but did not know if they would carry it.. my E was replyed to and the rep also did not know..so, we will just have to waite and see??
I would think that if they have "Heard of Q" then that is a good thing...
Good Luck to all of us Longs....

Duplicating what I read somewhere.

miracle #1 - QBID moves passed .0001

miracle #2 - QBID moves into pennyland

miracle #3 - QBID's launch of Q-television is successful and subscriber markets adopt the 24/7 format offered

miracle #4 - QBID is discovered by the investing public driving the pps to $1.00 levels

miracle #5 - QBID files application for listing on one of the larger exchanges

miracle #6 - QBID's application is accepted

miracle #7 - QBID is purchased by mutual funds and other institutional buyers

miracle #8 - QBID's stock contains numerous 10% beneficial owners...

miracle #9 - ?

We got passed 2 miracles, Dreams will be made by miracle #4 and stupid me will probably sell before any other miracles happen.

Good luck to all today.

I have DTV but i called my local comcast office and talked to a lady named Jean, she didn't have clue #1 what i was talking about but said she would look into it, only after i told her i would be interested in cable if they carried TTN, aka the Q channel. I live in central PA and most of my neighbors prefer horse and buggies to SUV's, so finding someone who even has electric is tough enough no less knowing what the Q channel is all about.......lol

In regards to the 1-800 number, when I called yesterday, the message included the quote about approximately 9B outstanding shares. Also mentioned something about the N.O. show and that F.Olsen would be out of the office all week preparing for it... it also mentioned that the message WILL CHANGE FREQUENTLY. No need to accuse everyone of being liars.
