PALM SPRINGS, Calif., Feb 26, 2004 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- It has come to our attention that some shareholders are posting negative, harmful and inaccurate information on financial websites. Mr. Olsen states, "Anyone posting false information regarding QBID and Triangle Multi-Media (QBID, Trade) will be subject to legal action within five (5) days of said posting. We have had to do this before as it is a serious detriment to our company and it's investors. There is no reason other shareholders should be victims of false information, gossip and rumors."
It is clear to me Frank Olsen knows little about civil law and is making an empty meaningless threat.
For these circumstances, only written statements which can be shown to constitute liable can be litigated. Liable must be shown to not be opinion, not to be an innocent writing, not to be free of malice.
Finding a person writing via the internet withing five days, this is extremely hard and most unlikely. An intelligent lawyer, and few are, would not touch circumstances like this without good hard evidence, which is repeated many times, and points to a paper trail which can be factually traced.
Obtaining a court subpoena for ISP records is quite challenging requiring a factual basis which will convince a judge liable has been committed long before consideration of a trial.
If a person to be sued is outside California, this adds great difficulty. If outside of America, this becomes impossible.
Litigating against the wrong person, would likely result in a counter-suit for damages.
Research, read and learn about civil law. You will quickly realize Olson is blowing smoke and displaying a lack of knowledge.
True bashing, true liable, is very wrong and should be prosecuted through civil action. It is equally wrong for a CEO to release an idle threat.
This nature of his news release would lead me to question if there is something really wrong with this company.

I may be wrong but, it seems it would be somewhat easy to create a false personality.
I can see it now....
Come to order please. This is the case of Qbid vs. SuperWorm. The charge is bashing stock. Is SuperWorm in the court? ....... SuperWorm? .... Is there anyone here representing SuperWorm in the court?
The clerk rises. "we sent proper notification to the last know e-mail address".
The angry judge. "Issue a bench warrent for one SuperWorm".
I DO NOT AGREE WITH BASHING, I HOPE IT STOPS.
PAUL (My real name) Therefore I am not free to bash.

Concealing yourself via the internet is extremely easy and it is extremely hard to trace a person who does conceal himself.
Those matters are of no concern to me.
I know nothing about this company, am not interested in this company and will not become interested.
However, I am insulted by Olson because of his attempt to intimidate investors by threatening legal action against anyone who discusses his company in negative way.
What Olson has accomplished is to convince me there is something very wrong about his company, without any knowledge on my part. He has caused me to be suspicious.
He has displayed a lack of knowledge, he has displayed a lack of consideration of consequences and has displayed a lack of professional skills. He has effectively insulted every intelligent reader via his attempt to silence and censor.

It is possible that he DOES understand what is really happening here and is trying to utilize the same tactics that many of the Bashers and Pumpers are using---semantic games---i am not impressed with his statement either though--i continue to HOLD

"We are currently directing efforts against a select few who appear to be engaging in liable to manipulate share prices. Our goal is to prosecute through civil action to set an example and to exemplify our aggressive stance against those who would cause deliberate harm to our shareholders."

A ghost writer would be sleight of hand---we know this company has major share issues-it is also in the PR's- i read it clearly----the PR is also suspect for another reason ---if he wants to do a buyback--then a low PPS is beneficial--more shares bought back per dollar---once again, i hold long expecting this one to hurt --but I am an optimist by nature and I would like to see success here---not for my personal TV viewing pleasure but for the increase in FREE SPEECH

Yes, Moe, I am the one engaging in liable at risk of being sued for a lot of money.
My plan is to bash Qbid prices down to zero cents per share whereupon I will purchase five-hundred-million shares.
Once I have vested five-hundred-million shares at a cost of zero dollars, I will then manipulate prices of Qbid up to my target sell price of one dollar per share.
This is a strategy as believable as is your comment about me.
