American Fire Retardant Corp. Announces Completion of Acquisition of Assets of National Certified Fire Retardant Inc.

SAN DIEGO, Feb 24, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- American Fire Retardant Corp. (AFRR) announced today that they have completed their purchase of the assets of National Certified Fire Retardant Inc., a fire retardant paint and varnish manufacturer. NCFR is located in Huntington Beach, Calif. The final payment for the purchase was made last week and the assets of NCFR are now owned by AFRC.

Stephen F. Owens, president of American Fire Retardant Corp., said, "We are very pleased and proud to add these outstanding fire-retardant paints and varnishes to our existing inventory of fire-retardant products. after all this time, with all the volume in the past few days and no change in price, on 550 million in volume this P.O.S. takes yet another DIVE.

Definite head scratcher, they have a couple of products, one will be on QVC... yet the stock takes every opportunity to dive lower.

I think this is going to be one that we'll wake up to one day and pee our pants, I just hope it's from excitement and not fear! lol

I was wondering why the price was dropping. My guess is the purchase was done with shares that were dumped on the market and supply exceeded demand. I have shares of AFRR and expect that the selling will decrease as those shares are absorbed by new holders and hopefully we have some added value from the purchase of NCFR.-Debi

I don't know why you all are putting AFRR down. I have played this one for 500k free shares. If you play the odds, you could have free shares too.

they have several products out but none are all that. plus the fact that they can dump as much stocks onto the market as needed hurts us .
