Has any one purchased the Fibonacci Secrets course by Stephen Pierce? I want to learn more about retractments and it looks like a good course. Any opinions are greatly appreciated.

Fibonacci numbers are known as Gods numbers. They are an amazing set of numbers....they were once used a lot in making codes...I don't know if Stephen Pierce is actually using the numbers, but if he is maybe he's on to something.

Yeh, I purchased it, but it's a secret !!! Yeh, I'm sure they were once used in making codes, babyfood, and beer. Wise up, if some fool had some miracle method or program, why in the L would he be selling it ? Get real !

I don't think that he has the secret to making millions in the Market. I also know that buying his course is not the only way I could learn about fibonacci numbers. I however do believe that the Eliot wave theory is true and that it would be beneficial for me to implament this type of TA to my trading. Do others think different? I am just trying to expand my knowledge and get better and thought that this would be a good next step. Can anyone recomend another way to learn how to implament Fibonacci numbers into my trading?

Bounce……do you know anything about Fibonacci numbers, I mean really, do you know anything about them. Who knows if they can be used to make money in the stock market. In fact, I am with you in wondering why he would sell some big secret that made him millions of dollars.
But please don’t expose your ignorance of mathematics by criticizing a branch of math that you do not know anything about. Anyone who has studied mathematics knows the amazing things these numbers can do……including creating amazing codes…..however, I don’t know about beer or baby food…..thanx

I have seen you use fibanacci numbers in some of your posts. Could you expound on how you use them or send us to a site?

YES- I use fib retracements in my trades all of the time. I apply them to the indexes (QQQs) and have for several years now (VERY profitably). HOWEVER, I dont use them when charting penny stocks. I have learned these pennies are pretty much news driven (No TA). I also use AdvancedGET (great platform) for much of the directional movements I get from the market. AdvancedGET uses ElliottWave theory which incorporates GANN and Fibonacci price projections.....and you know what.....They are really reliable! Anyone that bashes this needs to learn how REAL trading is done. Its not like gambling with the copper (although I like this as well).
If you look back on another thread called NAZ 2000 celebration (or something close) you will see where I mention to be careful that I am "shorting" the QQQs currently. I mentioned I expected to cover my position at $34.50.........hmmm....guess where I got that number from? Yep...the fib62 retracement. OH, and guess where the QQQs bounced off of Thursday and Friday? $34.50!!!

Now, if you're one of the first 250 people......well, that's one thing that pretty much cinches this as bogus to me. Yes, I'm very much aware of the power and use of Fibonocci numbers. I'm also well aware of charlatans who rip well-intended people off like this guy is doing. I don't think a person here who reads the whole ad would disagree. I would tell you to do as that one post states and learn all you can on the net and if the doesn't do it, maybe someone has some suggestions for a good book from Amazon on the basics of Fibonacci numbers. The whole point, there are charlatans promising you that you can make a fortune if you only buy their product. And this guy's product is not cheap. Also be aware that these numbers are only part of a larger understanding of TA and trading. Your seeking knowledge is admirable and I hope you find what you're looking for, but I've just seen so many traders think they can buy some "canned" secrets or system and be masters of the market. Unfortunately, it just doesn't happen like that, but people keep giving these shysters thousands and thousands of dollars each day. That's the main thing that tees me off. Trading is a difficult discipline without having these worthless crooks confusing you even more. I'd just study Fibonacci numbers and TA daily, using all the assets you can find on the 'net. There are plenty of great posts here pointing you to many great FREE sites, and there are some other sites like Bill Panneta's on Investors Hub that would be extremely helpful.
