The tools are there. The only thing needed is the ability to trade fast correctly. I have stated it many times over the past year but I'll say it again. DO NOT HESITATE WHEN YOU SEE ONE RUNNING!!!!!!! To take twenty minutes to talk yourself into buying is probably gonna miss the train!!! I immediately put my sell order together (without executing it) with the same price I purchased the stock. I then minimize it for quick easy access. It's all about speed in this game. BE READY TO BAIL if it turns around on you. If it goes up, the only thing you have to change on the order is the price. DON'T BE GREEDY!!! When it slows down or the bid/ask starts dropping (although you have to get used to when they falsely try to shake you with this) get off the train. Profit is PROFIT!!! If you buy a 0.04 stock and it goes to 0.05, that's a 25% profit!!! If you can make $80 - $120 on two or three of these quick plays a day, and then come across a couple that do considerably better during the week (you will)(I always do) all you have to do is the math folks. It adds up quickly to a fine weekly gain. Good Luck with it. DON'T HESITATE TO BUY AND DON'T HESITATE TO SELL!!! RUFF!!!!!!!!!

I've been trying to express the importance of good trading tools for quite awhile now and am glad to finally see the tremendous interest in otccharts. You will find that the owner (Steve) is a straight shooter and he has an excellant staff. I talk with them on a regular basis and have always found them receptive to suggestions I have to better the site. They are continually working on improving their already unequaled trading tools and encourage thoughts and suggestions from users. I was having a personal virus problem about six months ago and Steve arranged for a top computer tech to call me at home one evening and go online with me using PCanywhere to help straighten out my problem. Now that's what I call customer service people. Enjoy the tools and hit me anytime with a problem you may be experiencing. I may not know the immediate fix, but I'm the type that likes a challenge so count on me getting involved. Good Luck out there, and don't take any wooden pennies. Ruff!!!

mizzou7,

Another excellent question!

Many of our clients use the platform for exactly that: After-hours DD.

After the market close, there is so much of the day's activity to look back on and digest. You can clearly find stocks that are looking to continue a strong run into the next day. As well there are a wealth of News and SEC Filings releases to analyze that could have huge influence on the stock the next day.

I know that Dardadog doesn't use all at once but I have copied all the filters in his list. If anyone see something wrong or missing please tell me.

Very nice work Ric (and ofcourse Dardadog one of our longest most loyal members.

This is the part that will blow your mind:

If your computer has the horsepower, YOU CAN HAVE ALL OF THESE FILTERS OPEN AT THE SAME TIME IN DIFFERENT WINDOWS (streaming dynamically).

The power is infinite!

Best of luck to you all.

Dog, I noticed you live in LHC. I'll be traveling out there in 8 days. I have family that moved there about 2.5 years ago, They bought Linda Carter's house (Wonder Woman) if you know where that is. I am also looking into investment property while visiting them for the holidays. Shoot me an email if you would...

Hey Ric, thanks for posting those, there is one error I found in this one:

quote:

25% gap 100% gain
…..Price Range: from .0001 to 2.00
…..Change Action: the GAIN is GREATER THEN 25 % relative to OPEN
…..Gap Action: the GAP UP is GREATER THEN 100 % relative to CLOSE

I thought I saw another one last night but it looks like you found it too.

Thx again.

Steve,

A suggestion. If you could have an import export option for the streaming filters it would make it easy for importing filters especially for newbies when we have such nice people like Daradog who doesn't mind sharing these wonderful filters with us investors. 41 filters can give you finger cramps setting them up, lol.

Also could have like a starter filters for newbies who don't know someone as that is nice enough to share filters.

Ric

I got a question for u dardadog, how many monitors u use for daytrading? from the looks of your setup, u only use one. my 2nd guess is u have microtrade on one screen w/ like choicetrade on the other but i may be wrong.

(sorry it a little of topic)
O and this reminds me for all those ppl who couldn't sign up for choicetrade cuz they not registered in your state, i just emailed them and they said they may start doing business in states like michigan around janurary and continue to expand within the next 6 months

With the use of NVIDIA and Voodoo boards I can use up to five monitors (counting my lil' 5"x7" tramp). I set microcaptrade to load on one monitor then I spread it out. The way I located the "load" format is so that it loads to fit one monitor when I am on the road and using my laptop. You can open and stack as many "Streaming Filters" as you wish, and after unchecking the box in the bottom right hand corner of the "Quote Montage" you can open, squeeze and stack as many montage's as you need to watch. I also keep this site and others open and squeezed into half inch by two inch stacks for quick easy access (such as brokers with prepared sell orders ready to execute).

Hi, Im Brian, and new here, though I've traded off and on for some years. Great site. I wanted to share a little trick on "screen management" of many open windows with those who haven't discovered it.

We are all used to the Windows taskbar, which show all open programs, browsers, etc., being at the bottom of the screen. As you open more windows, the description of each on the taskbar gets narrower, or perhaps you have them set to "cascade" when you put the mous on them, neither of which allows you to see many open windows at a time, or read what they are (if you have it set to get narrower as you open more).

While this trick takes some mental adjustment, it has made window management MUCH easier for me. By right-clicking on an empty section of the taskbar, make sure that the "Lock the Taskbar" line doesn't have a checkmark by it, ot click on it to get rid of it. Then left-click on the taskbar and drag it over to the left side of the screen (the only other side that isn't already "populated", either by menus or scrollbars. The taskbar will now reside there, and you can lock it again if you like. THIS IS ESPECIALLY GREAT IF YOU HAVE A WIDESCREEN MONITOR. But in any case, as you add windows, many more icons will fit, as they are all only about 1/4 inch tall. Before you lock the taskbar, you can set the width of the taskbar to your preference. They never get narrower as you add windows - hence, you can still tell what is what.

I spent most of today, observing the data supplied by your program, and utilizing Dardadog's previously posted "filters" for use with the program. At first glance, it is overwhelming the amount of info that is available. But after applying the basics concepts, I was able to see some runners. Although I didn't make any buys, the potential was there. Had I taken the initiative, I could have moved on some of the signals seen, and made some profits. With that, I see this as an absolute necessity for playing pinks or OTC's. Invaluable to say the least. Great job, and I look forward to contributing as I achieve the necessary knowledge. Thanks....

Marty

Marty,
Can you attach the previously posted filters by Dardadog you mentioned in your post? Would ne greatly appreciated
