Hello to All OTC Charts users,

My name is Steve T. I am the owner, founder and CEO of MicrocapTrade. Before I begin, please note that OTC Charts is now called MicrocapTrade and can be found at http://www.microcaptrade.com/otc/index.jsp?promo=111115 The company changed it's corporate name back in February of 2004 to better reflect it's core business - real time microcap market data for serious traders-.

I would like to begin by first thanking all of you who currently use ( and at some point in time used) the MicrocapTrade system. Our long-time and loyal supporters of 3+ years now are extremely valued by us and seen as part of the "family".

Many of you have been asking some interesting questions about the MicrocapTrade platform, most notably:

WILL THERE BE LEVEL 2 QUOTES INTEGRATED INTO THE SYSTEM?

One of my main reasons in reaching out to you today is to answer YES, there will be full Level 2 Quotes in the near future. Estimated time-frame is by February/March of 2005 (possibly sooner!). Why does it take so long you might ask? For two main reasons:

1. This is very complicated technology and takes significant time to develop, debug and integrate to make sure that you have a first-rate product.

2. We are awaiting final approval from the Nasdaq Stock Market Inc. to be fully authorized to redistribute L2 quotes to individual traders. This bureaucratic process is long and takes time, however we are awaiting the final go-ahead any week now.

I want to inform you all as well that, through a partnership with AllStocks, you will be able to receive a special discounted monthly rate on your subscription. Instead of $99.95/month it will cost only $79.95/month. That is a significant savings. Stay tuned for the official beginning of this partnership very soon.

Lastly, MicrocapFeed (MicrocapTrade's application which you are all using) was built for one specific type of trader in mind: Active OTC:BB/Pinksheet stock trader involved in high frequency intraday trading. After speaking with a large majority of our active clients who fit this description, one point has been made clear: the $99/month is a "non-issue" in terms of the powerful tools they get in return. To all other once-in-a-while traders, the $99/month fee may seem a little steep and rightfully so.

Bottom Line: If you do not make at least 5 round-trip trades per week, this sytem is probably not for you.

I will be on this forum frequently to answer any questions, inform you all of new features & enhancements and to share important news about MicrocapTrade. Our telephones and email are always open to you. We look forward to hearing from you and keep the feedback coming!

Steve T.

Important Feature Announcement

We are proud to announce a major enhancement to our News and Filings Streamer!!!

As you can see, from the new top navigation panel on the streamer, you can
now filter News & filings in ways that were never thought possible!

Three "radio buttons" allow you to access the filtering features:

- Streamer (see all current day's News, Filings or both combined)

- Filter (set your own price and volume filters.)

- Search (search for a specific symbol or type of News/Filing)

This now makes our News/Filings Streamer an even more powerful tool than it
already was!

We hope that you will enjoy the serious competitive edge that this new feature as well as all of our proprietary information windows will give you.

More new mindblowing Features are on the way for next week!! They will be announced here. Stay tuned...

From all of us here at MicrocapTrade, we wish you the very best going into this
holiday season and much success for the new year.

Steve T.

I wanted to send Steve a big thank you for the discount. I've been a member of Microbaptrade for a few months thanks to Dardadog's influence and suggestions. I was wondering Steve, if you could come up with some type of discount for referrals, for those that refer others to using your wonderful tools at Microcaptrade. I know that I've mentioned it on here before somewheres. Boys, I never even fathomed that this forum reached someone as high out of the chat chain as you. Thanks Bob, for your hardwork. It's definitely appreciated the value that you bring to all of us here on this site, and allowing us to meet in such a well formatted forum. Thanks again to both of you, and looking forward to continued use of both Allstocks, and Microcaptrade into the New Year, that is, if my darn stocks would turn around and bring me some profit. Ha Ha Ha !!!!! Take care all, Shadow.

****A huge red flag went up for me when I saw step 1 asking for your password???!!!!! A password should never be given out under any circumstances. If a person has your username and password they can post whatever they want on here. Just an FYI.

Posted by Allstocks on :

It will not be your user and pass from here it would be the user and pass from otccharts.

Which would have nothing to do with posting here.

Yeah, I saw that too. I am really interested in OTC Charts, and the discount really seals the deal for me but I am hesitant about the password thing. Can we get a solution to this Steve?

Thank you ALL for your kind words.

You know, when this company was started back in mid-2000, it was conceived on the fundamental principle of making the OTC:BB a more respectable, transparent equity marketplace. Building a much needed Market Index to gauge the collective performance of the market was an absolute necessity. I mean, how on earth could North America's main microcap equity market not have a darn Index??? (btw- our industry leading index can be found at www.otcbbtrader.com). And so the journey began. Looking back today, we have come so far and done so much more than create a much-needed Index. MicrocapTrade has singlehandedly legitimized the once "obscure" OTC:BB and Pinksheet markets by bringing Structured market infrastructure and credible, meaningful information to a segment that was in complete shambles and left for dead by it's older more mature siblings (Nasdaq, NYSE and AMEX).

NOONE EVER GAVE A DAMN ABOUT MAKING THE OTC:BB A BETTER PLACE BEFORE MICROCAPTRADE CAME ALONG.

We are here for one reason, YOU the traders. We are in existence to give you the first-class tools needed to take an educated and intelligent approach to participating in the lucrative and very important microcap markets. Because by doing that we will have fulfilled our vision of making the OTC:BB and Pinksheet microcap markets a better place for all.

Best of luck and Happy Trading.

Steve T.

I went ahead and called Microcaptrade today, due to not knowing anything about Microsoft net log in for their email, I keep getting that damn message and have no idea what it's about. Oh well, guess what, I actually got Steve T that answered the phone. I've got to say, he sounds like an extremely nice guy, and an articulate individual. Wonderful to see someone in charge doing grunt work with customer service, but after all, customer service is the most important part of any business. He was very pleasant to talk to and said that he'd give some thought to two suggestions that I made: 1. Getting a discount for referring a friend to their service, and 2. Trying to be able to pay for a year in advance, and or, getting a discount possibly for doing so. Now that would be cool. He seemed to take what I had to say to heart and was very pleasant. He said that he would be paying very close attention to the needs of the people that post here and respect their opinions. I was really delighted with the conversation that we had. Good luck to all, if he's half as nice and enthusiastic with the operation of his business as he was today, then they should be around for some years to come. Cya-Shadow. By the way, my discount starts in January, seeing as I've already just payed for December a few days ago, oh well, you can't beat em all.

i dont use the streaming filter much during trading hours....

i use the top400 set to %age gained and i watch the number of TRADES for high numbers....

(if it changes 100% and only had 2 trades? i ignore it....)

i usually try to find them BEFORE they have already gained 20% so as the gainers stack up, i scroll down so that the top one on my board is a 25-35% gainer.....

calm down net....

My thoughts on needing user ID and password is to verify the account of the person asking for the discount. Afterall, you have to give your user ID and password to sign up in the first place.

I believe they are going to include the pinks Ric. When I last spoke with Alan (Steve's Head Tech), I recall he confirmed that for me. The quote montage gives bid and ask prices on pinks now. Have you ever seen the sight?

I for one sent them my user name and password and now only pay $79.99 a month. and got an e-mail back from them the same day saying that I will only pay the new price. I think im stealing this software now that im only paying $79 dollars a month

I'd like to resolve the confusion about this Password concern.

We at MicrocapTrade already have your Passwords. Nobody will be breaking into our highly-secure email server to steal your passwords. This was needed to make sure that you are the authentic user before being awarded the AllStocks discount.

If some of you feel strongly opposed to sending US your password, please send your First Name, Last Name and User ID. That will do just fine.

Have a productive trading day!

Dear 1BigTip,

You ask a very legitimate question. I will attempt in the following paragraphs to make you understand why although looks may seem similar, your current platform is completely different than the MicrocapFeed platform in regards to OTCBB and Pinksheet trading.

It all comes down to one point: THE NATURE OF THE BEAST.

MicrocapFeed's architectural design is fundamentally completely different than yours or any platform out there. Let's look at the Top 400 feature as an example: This is a proprietary feed that "spits out" the top movers LIVE that you should be looking at. Basically GIVES YOU THE STOCKS THAT ARE WORTH LOOKING AT (out of 8,000+) on a silver platter, in one easy glance. Top it all of with sorting capabilities that are unmatched in the industry. Can you view the Top 400 stocks on your platform by MOST # OF TRADES and by DOLLAR VOLUME?

Your platform allows you to set up watchlists. Watchlists are good to monitor stocks you already know about but completely useless in order to find breaking trading opportunities that arise. (BTW our platform allows you to setup personal watchlists and gives you full personal alerts on all the stocks within your watchlists). Again, the Nature Of The Beast is fundamentally different.

Our one-click access to the powerful Quote/Chart/Time&Sales montage is unmatchable. Have a look at this feature Live during trading hours for an active stock and you will completely understand.

The News and Filings streamer: Well you might get OTC news on your current system but again take one look at ours during market hours and you will clearly understand why it is considered the best for Pennystock trading. OTCBB and Pinksheet stocks are color coded, YOU GET REAL TIME DYNAMIC QUOTE AND VOLUME NEXT TO EACH HEADLINE! Try to find that critical time-saving feature somewhere else. The price and volume filtering is for real-time news is also one-of a kind. Try using our search function to look up ALL CURRENT S-8 filings for a current day (and historical). This kind of functionality is a microcap daytrader's dream. (and it's available on our platform because we listen to what the market is asking for). I could go on and on about the unique benefits of our News Streamer but I will leave it at that.

Lastly but certainly not least: The Streaming Filter. There is so much to say about this one feature that we could fill up over 100 pages (not gonna do that!). It is a stand alone tool that in itself, if properly used to its full potential, can be the only tool needed by a seriously active trader. The only way to understand is to see it for yourself so please go ahead and do so if possible.

There is much, much more to talk about such as our Trading Alerts whick is another blockbuster feature but I have written long enough. (hope I haven't bored many of you). If what I have described sounds worth it enough to give it a try for $9, go ahead you will not be disappointed.

I am indeed the CEO of the firm so there is surely some bias in my opinion, but we at MicrocapTrade are extremely proud of the world-class, unique and specialized product that we have developed.

Hope this has helped and best of luck with any platform you choose on using.

Steve T.

Steve T,
Not to intervene, but today was my first useage of your product. The wealth of real-time infomation is huge. I'm a computer guy, so learning new software isn't "long" in regards to learning curves. I spent most of today, observing the data supplied by your program, and utilizing Dardadog's previously posted "filters" for use with the program. At first glance, it is overwhelming the amount of info that is available. But after applying the basics concepts, I was able to see some runners. Although I didn't make any buys, the potential was there. Had I taken the initiative, I could have moved on some of the signals seen, and made some profits. With that, I see this as an absolute necessity for playing pinks or OTC's. Invaluable to say the least. Great job, and I look forward to contributing as I achieve the necessary knowledge. Thanks....

Marty

Main Topic where OTC owners can post, Dardadog can post his filters and advice. Also others who may have fine tuned that advice. WHere we can list what we see from the finds and help each other in the mornings. In other words a OTC forum.

Steve T,

I have one request.

The issue is that on the filters you dont see as many stock symbols as you do in the 400 list. I can maximized the filter window an only see about 20 stocks but in the 400 list there are as many as you screen's resolution allows you to fit.

I created my own 400 list I just can see as mamy symbols as on your 400 list.

Thanks

This is mainly a system to finding what is currently running at the moment I am going to say a good 95% of Microcaptrade users use the system during trading hours.

The tools are great for doing nightly DD to look for late day patterns or trends. The thing I would like to add though, is to play the pennies blind as you mention is just down right dangerous. This isn't investing. 99.999999999 of these things are simply junk going nowhere. But they ALL can make you money if you are on top of their every move. Good Luck with it.

Dardadog, this is not the correct place for this question but I would really like to know your opinion of BLYC... and have you ever looked at buying any shares ?

I own several shares in this company and I believe great things are about to happen... what do you think ? it gets very little attention from other investors... and has not had a very good year.

Thanks for any comments...

I've played it, but birdchit or baseballs. I'm not the guy to ask. I could DD it but I would need to do the full Monty to give ya an answer. Find one of the people that hang out at Mach's. From what I have picked up, he got everybody into that stock waist deep earlier this year and it's gone nowhere. But they would definately have the DD.

Just a little quickie BLYC had an S-8 issued out on 11-16 for 100 Million shares I do not know how much they have left to throw out there though.

Posted by mizzou7 on :

They have almost 600 million O/S with 2.5 Billion authorized...
I have done a lot of DD on this company but starting to think maybe I made a mistake...

They have a lot going and recently (last week) launch a new platform in South America...

My biggest confusion is... for a company that launched in January 2004 and has already reached industry supremacy... it gets very little attention... that's why I thought the "Dog" could share some insight... thinks for the response...

and, I'm sorry to the other members for posting this question on this thread...

The tools are there. The only thing needed is the ability to trade fast correctly. I have stated it many times over the past year but I'll say it again. DO NOT HESITATE WHEN YOU SEE ONE RUNNING!!!!!!! To take twenty minutes to talk yourself into buying is probably gonna miss the train!!! I immediately put my sell order together (without executing it) with the same price I purchased the stock. I then minimize it for quick easy access. It's all about speed in this game. BE READY TO BAIL if it turns around on you. If it goes up, the only thing you have to change on the order is the price. DON'T BE GREEDY!!! When it slows down or the bid/ask starts dropping (although you have to get used to when they falsely try to shake you with this) get off the train. Profit is PROFIT!!! If you buy a 0.04 stock and it goes to 0.05, that's a 25% profit!!! If you can make $80 - $120 on two or three of these quick plays a day, and then come across a couple that do considerably better during the week (you will)(I always do) all you have to do is the math folks. It adds up quickly to a fine weekly gain. Good Luck with it. DON'T HESITATE TO BUY AND DON'T HESITATE TO SELL!!! RUFF!!!!!!!!!

I've been trying to express the importance of good trading tools for quite awhile now and am glad to finally see the tremendous interest in otccharts. You will find that the owner (Steve) is a straight shooter and he has an excellant staff. I talk with them on a regular basis and have always found them receptive to suggestions I have to better the site. They are continually working on improving their already unequaled trading tools and encourage thoughts and suggestions from users. I was having a personal virus problem about six months ago and Steve arranged for a top computer tech to call me at home one evening and go online with me using PCanywhere to help straighten out my problem. Now that's what I call customer service people. Enjoy the tools and hit me anytime with a problem you may be experiencing. I may not know the immediate fix, but I'm the type that likes a challenge so count on me getting involved. Good Luck out there, and don't take any wooden pennies. Ruff!!!

mizzou7,

Another excellent question!

Many of our clients use the platform for exactly that: After-hours DD.

After the market close, there is so much of the day's activity to look back on and digest. You can clearly find stocks that are looking to continue a strong run into the next day. As well there are a wealth of News and SEC Filings releases to analyze that could have huge influence on the stock the next day.

I know that Dardadog doesn't use all at once but I have copied all the filters in his list. If anyone see something wrong or missing please tell me.

Very nice work Ric (and ofcourse Dardadog one of our longest most loyal members.

This is the part that will blow your mind:

If your computer has the horsepower, YOU CAN HAVE ALL OF THESE FILTERS OPEN AT THE SAME TIME IN DIFFERENT WINDOWS (streaming dynamically).

The power is infinite!

Best of luck to you all.

Dog, I noticed you live in LHC. I'll be traveling out there in 8 days. I have family that moved there about 2.5 years ago, They bought Linda Carter's house (Wonder Woman) if you know where that is. I am also looking into investment property while visiting them for the holidays. Shoot me an email if you would...

Hey Ric, thanks for posting those, there is one error I found in this one:

quote:

25% gap 100% gain
…..Price Range: from .0001 to 2.00
…..Change Action: the GAIN is GREATER THEN 25 % relative to OPEN
…..Gap Action: the GAP UP is GREATER THEN 100 % relative to CLOSE

I thought I saw another one last night but it looks like you found it too.

Thx again.

Steve,

A suggestion. If you could have an import export option for the streaming filters it would make it easy for importing filters especially for newbies when we have such nice people like Daradog who doesn't mind sharing these wonderful filters with us investors. 41 filters can give you finger cramps setting them up, lol.

Also could have like a starter filters for newbies who don't know someone as that is nice enough to share filters.

Ric

I got a question for u dardadog, how many monitors u use for daytrading? from the looks of your setup, u only use one. my 2nd guess is u have microtrade on one screen w/ like choicetrade on the other but i may be wrong.

(sorry it a little of topic)
O and this reminds me for all those ppl who couldn't sign up for choicetrade cuz they not registered in your state, i just emailed them and they said they may start doing business in states like michigan around janurary and continue to expand within the next 6 months

With the use of NVIDIA and Voodoo boards I can use up to five monitors (counting my lil' 5"x7" tramp). I set microcaptrade to load on one monitor then I spread it out. The way I located the "load" format is so that it loads to fit one monitor when I am on the road and using my laptop. You can open and stack as many "Streaming Filters" as you wish, and after unchecking the box in the bottom right hand corner of the "Quote Montage" you can open, squeeze and stack as many montage's as you need to watch. I also keep this site and others open and squeezed into half inch by two inch stacks for quick easy access (such as brokers with prepared sell orders ready to execute).

Hi, Im Brian, and new here, though I've traded off and on for some years. Great site. I wanted to share a little trick on "screen management" of many open windows with those who haven't discovered it.

We are all used to the Windows taskbar, which show all open programs, browsers, etc., being at the bottom of the screen. As you open more windows, the description of each on the taskbar gets narrower, or perhaps you have them set to "cascade" when you put the mous on them, neither of which allows you to see many open windows at a time, or read what they are (if you have it set to get narrower as you open more).

While this trick takes some mental adjustment, it has made window management MUCH easier for me. By right-clicking on an empty section of the taskbar, make sure that the "Lock the Taskbar" line doesn't have a checkmark by it, ot click on it to get rid of it. Then left-click on the taskbar and drag it over to the left side of the screen (the only other side that isn't already "populated", either by menus or scrollbars. The taskbar will now reside there, and you can lock it again if you like. THIS IS ESPECIALLY GREAT IF YOU HAVE A WIDESCREEN MONITOR. But in any case, as you add windows, many more icons will fit, as they are all only about 1/4 inch tall. Before you lock the taskbar, you can set the width of the taskbar to your preference. They never get narrower as you add windows - hence, you can still tell what is what.

Thanks....

Can you attach the previously posted filters by Dardadog you mentioned in your post? Would ne greatly appreciated
