Morpheus is gonna go back to old school trading..im gonna wait until 3 consecutive DOW down days and then pump big money into the the market..(for me thats about 25k per position) this market action lately scares the **** out me, and most likey you too..my big plays i like are MSFT , MON, SMG and AAPL..i feel ok about dropping big money on these and not wakeing up to "we are going out of business" BS news you can get from other plays. im looking for a 15-20% gain on these and usually after 3 down days that is what they do..I will continue to dabble little interday positions just for kicks, plays like F WLT JRCC UAUA..but it seems im just spinning my wheels these last few days..

Far out. Good idea Morpheus. I'll be sticking to the sidelines for the most part with my retirement and with a few $100 (that's $100 without the K lol) for swings when I can. Good luck! I am still looking for the double bottom on the dow. Doubt we're out of the wood yet for that to happen.

Looks like HIG is going to bounce this morning and also F is showing a 2.40 ask price on and off,Seems like Scottrade quote screen does this all the time with me.Shows different prices on quote screen as active streamer pre market.. Good luck and I have to be out most of the day so I am not sure what or if I will get into anything unless I have time to set in front of the computer..I hate leaving with this market not knowing what will happen....

OK figure this out ,, my luck ,, I grabbed 100 sh of LVS at 14.25 on a dip the very next minute rueters news pops up that the stock has been downgraded to junk, I got out at 14.00 even,, but only out 25 down....but used 2 free trades for that one as well .. Well I am here on a sunday morning doing a little DD for Monday,,not sure what monday will bring especially the way the dow has ended up most of the week and forein markets still getting killed..I have never mentioned UTX stock , the only reason I have ever watched the stock is because my brother has worked there for 34 years now and will retire soon, BUT their stock has been a consistant swing for a buck most days of trading and was down s low as 47 a few weeks back now up to 55 its just always been one that the high cost of the stock has never given me the oportunity to trade enough shares to make money on. but I am going to pick up a few shares Monday (30 or so) , they own a lot of groups like Carrier AC , Otis elevator, sensitech software is a division of carrier,they have also reciently recieved another conract for boeing engines and now their strike seems to be settling..Keep an eye on it it is at a nice low point ,in my opinion, just because the market is down all over ,this one has been over $79 in the last year , Might be a good flipper If you have 5000 for 100 sh to flip..When the market starts back up. But I am thinking since we had a up week last week we might start off this monay heading up, then end up in the red for monday just my opionion here,I know you guys will do your own DD.

And another one to watch is AIRM air methods, owned by UTX has just came off of a 52 week low of 14 its at 16 now and had a 52 week high of 59.50 , they just recieved a 17 mil contract for helicopter interiors for medivac heles from sikorski on the 28th..Might want to watch it.. closed at 16.78 on fri..

Not a problem I am glad to be able to throw a few out there and hope they go up,I get a little nervous recomending anything, I would hate to lead someone in the wrong direction.. Are you going to be around in the morning Morpheus? Friday was quiet around here.. SoAngel popped in , but did I was out most of the day friday as well. seems like thing pop when I have to be gone..

HIG just wont dip this morning,I know it will but maybey around 11.00 or so ..news just out a few minutes ago that they have a 2 bil cusion to keep AA rating,now on financials so that might be whats happened,,DOW is in the red but still heading up..Wish I had got it last week at 8.50.. I have an ord in for 150 sh at 14.80 and it wont get hit ,, comes close but just not hitting , if it dips I will drop the order but so far it does not want to stay uder 15 today..

OK seems like it is building a lot of resistance for now around the 15$ mark I have to leave for a while so I am lowering my ord to 14.50 ,,,it might get hit while I am gone just hope if it does it does not keep going in that direction. Back Later today..

OK Just got back in and I just hit 150 sh at 14.50 ,dipping lower now that I bought though,it should pop back up a little today (i hope)
