I've been watching this one for a couple of days. It has been on a straight nosedive, but has had steady insider net accumulation and paid out an .11 dividend last quarter. It is sinking past its 52-week low, does anyone else think this may soon be a potential bottom play?

Ticker: HMPR

Cheers!

nice dip. and a nice dead cat bounce yesterday. just a scan on the fundamentals with one resignation and the withdrawel of the divi, imo because of the low volume that may have helped it dip so easily. be careful with low volumes. TA wise i'd put this on my early pincher radar and maybe look for an entry for a partial position but keep the stop loss on. it may still dip further by some of the indicators i follow ACC/DIST, CMF, ADX and PPO and with such low volume it could dip pretty fast. i can't see me buying until it does find a little support. I like to see the CMF and the ACC/Dist hook back up before i chance a buy.

btw, HMPR is a local stock for me [Cool]

How is the Real-Estate market looking in Virginia?

I've been watching the NC real-estate market pretty closely and I think sales have definitely rounded the corner, its still down, but I think it is headed back up from here. I wonder how closely this stock will be tied to it.

Virginia Beach was rated the #1 place to buy, forget the link now but it was on the best news station .... FOX News of course. I haven't checked virginia wide but it has been picking up a little. The first time 8k tax credit has been getting attention according to one of my real estate friends.

{"s" : "","k" : "c10,l10,p20,t10","o" : "","j" : ""} "Becoming a gold producer is an important milestone in attaining our vision of being a diversified precious metals company operating multiple mines in mining friendly jurisdictions," said William J. Biggar, NAP's President and Chief Executive Officer. "I'd like to congratulate and thank our employees for successfully restarting the Sleeping Giant mine within our seven-month timeframe and $7.5 million budget."

The Company also announced that it has exercised its right to buy back a 1% net smelter return royalty on the Sleeping Giant mine held by IAMGOLD Corporation for $1 million.

NAP's 100% owned Sleeping Giant gold mine, located northwest of Val d'Or in the prolific Abitibi region of Quebec, has a full complement of employees at site. The Company also owns the nearby Discovery Project, the Dormex Property and has a joint venture with Midland Exploration over the Laflamme Project.

North American Palladium: Re-engineering the Future

North American Palladium is a precious metals company that owns the Lac des Iles mine, which produced platinum group metals for 15 years until October 2008 when it was placed on temporary care and maintenance due to low metal prices. Prior to the temporary shutdown, the mine had annual production of 270,000 ounces of palladium, 20,000 ounces of platinum and 20,000 ounces of gold. The Company also owns and operates the Sleeping Giant gold mine located in the Abitibi region of Quebec, which produced over 1 million ounces of gold from 1988-2008 at an average grade of 11.44 g/t. North American Palladium expects commercial gold production to resume in the fourth quarter of 2009 at an annual rate of 50,000 ounces. North American Palladium benefits from operating in a politically stable jurisdiction with developed infrastructure and a history of innovation and excellence in mining.

Coastal Capital Acquisition Corp. CEO Provides Corporate Update

ATLANTA, GA -- (Marketwire) -- 10/21/09 -- Coastal Capital Acquisition Corp. (PINKSHEETS: CCAJ) CEO Tracy Anderson said, "I would like to take this time to address some shareholder concerns, update you, the shareholder in Coastal Capital, and potential investors viewing this press release for the first time. I think the first concern for many shareholders, new and old, in any micro-cap stock is the fear of a reverse stock split. I'd like to put that fear to rest here and now. We will not be executing or conducting a reverse stock split in 2009 or 2010. I feel that a reverse stock split hurts shareholders and the company.

"If we had a business plan that would allow for a move to a higher exchange and there was the need for a certain price to be attained, then I could see a reverse split as a possibility. However, that is not the case with Coastal Capital. Our outstanding share count compared to many other micro-cap companies is miniscule and that is why a reverse stock split is not the answer to capitalizing the company today. However, there will come a time in the not too distant future where we will need to raise the authorized share count. This will be done in conjunction with a merger, acquisition or JV partnership, all of which are on the table at the moment.

Also on the table, and being considered by the board, is a stock dividend issued to the shareholders of record to be announced at a later date.

"Our next corporate order of business was to instruct DL Consultants to begin the 2008 and 2009 10-Qs and 10-Ks. The completed set of 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 10-Qs and 10-Ks will be sent to SEC counsel for review and preparation of the legal disclosures required by Pinksheets.com.

The desired outcome of this procedure is to earn a label upgrade from "limited info" to a more investor favorable label of 'transparency.'

"As you know we had executed a merger and consulting agreement with a small company poised for growth in the security software space, Helixdc. The merger did not close. However the negations yielded an opportunity to explore different business opportunities and partnerships in both the public and private 'green' space. We were fortunate to meet and bring on a new member to the Coastal Capital team, Mr. Barry Baker. Mr. Baker will join the Board of Directors and take the position of Vice President of Green Technologies. Barry has worked with public and private companies in the 'green' space assisting them in mergers, acquisitions and/or JV partnerships. Barry has built a reputation of integrity and respect in the industry. Barry has also traveled to China where he forged and built relationships with Chinese green technology manufacturers, particularly in the algae growth and production space for energy, feedstock and food supplements. Barry is an asset to the team and will be beneficial in fostering international partnerships.

"As we go forward we will take on the due corporate actions. These corporate actions include a name change, cusip number change, corporate domain secured, and corporate website created. We have chosen to look to the 'green' space for revenue building shareholder value. Mr. Barry Baker has been valuable in this respect. We are in final stage negotiations with a company Barry brought to our attention. This publicly traded company holds award winning patented technologies in the green space; one of these patents is a top line, one stop shop, Algae Photobioreactor (PBR). This unique and patented PBR does the entire algae production process including an all-in-one harvesting and drying process. As I expect the negotiations to continue in the current direction, we will announce the relationship and scope of the projects as early as next week."

the XHB (homebuilders index) chart pushed through some resistance yesterday pushing back over the 50rsi with a little pinch action. Could be a decent signal however short lived for some decent action (for a Friday?) but we'll see. My target for peeking on foreclosures and such is around Jan/Feb so still plenty of volatility till then imo. and that is one "wag".

CCAJ NEWS! [Smile]

Oct 29, 2009 09:12 ETCoastal Capital Acquisition Corporation Announces JV Letter of Intent With W2 EnergyATLANTA, GA--(Marketwire - October 29, 2009) - Coastal Capital Acquisition Corp (PINKSHEETS: CCAJ) and W2 Energy (PINKSHEETS: WTWO) Sign JV Letter of Intent.

CEO of Coastal Capital Acquisition Corporation Tracy Anderson said, "I am pleased to announce I have signed a Joint Venture Letter of Intent with W2 Energy Inc. The scope of this joint venture is to design, construct and operate an Algae to Bio-diesel facility in the state of Florida. After discussions with W2 Energy we felt a JV partnership would be a great first step in utilizing Green Technologies as a way to grow value for the company and our shareholders."

W2 Energy has an all in one Algae production that grows, harvests, and dries Algae for use in the production of Bio-diesel. This technology also creates a valuable by-product in dried Algae for feedstock. W2 Energy is a manufacturer of green products and is looking to expand our Algae to Bio-diesel business. W2 Energy looks forward to working with Coastal Capital in this venture and the signing of a formal Joint Venture agreement in the near future.

Coastal Capital Acquisition Corp CEO Tracy Anderson also said, "We are presently in discussions with a particular property owner to execute a long term lease or purchase agreement for 2.5 acres in Florida. This property will house the facility we are looking to construct. I look forward to updating you, the shareholders, on our continued progress with W2 Energy and other joint ventures we are currently negotiating."
