Century Aluminum (CENX, $6.63, +$0.39, +6.23%) shares rose amid an increase in aluminum prices. BMO called Century Aluminum a "high-beta aluminum play," noting aluminum prices have climbed about 10% in the past few days. LME 3-month aluminum was just off its 2009 high earlier today. Shares of other aluminum companies, including Alcoa Inc. (AA, $11.19, +$0.04, +0.38%) and Aluminum Corp. of China Ltd. (ACH, $26.64, +$1.07, +4.18%), were also up, though Century - considered to trade most closely with aluminum prices - was leading the pack.
