Are we looking at another one of these kinds of jumps given the current status? Or is this a flash in the pan day for the stock? I a looking at buying a couple thousand dollars worth on Tuesday and want some opinions. THANKS!
I'm still new to this and I do have some shares of ACTC but this is what I would say....First off I'd say read above me what Investor said because its something you should keep in the back of your mind. Second off I would say be aware of holding anything in this market because I'd have to say its def. a "trader's" market and not much of an "investor's" market....so with that being said don't expect to put 2k in ACTC and expect in 2 years it'll be work 200k..so takes gains whenever you can. I personally am riding on free shares with this one with a little profit so I try not to think about all that could go wrong/right with this one. And the last thing I would say....make your own decisions, don't let somebody on here or in an email make your decision. So if you think its wise to put 2k into ACTC and YOU think that ACTC will be the NEXT THING....then do it, but you should always have what you think is good entry and exit point....don't expect ACTC to go to $9.00 like the way it did before either tho.

Jdizz, I'd suggest selling atleast 1.5-2k at .30 if you can today. That way you make a little profit and have 5-5.5k free shares so you can always cash out when you need the funds or feel you are making the right move to sell. I'd just say don't push your luck until AFTER you atleast SELL what you originally put in. and sell around 2k shares at this price you're making a few hundo. Just wouldn't want somebody not to sell some and get burned. Like I had a few thousand extra shares but I just wanted to make sure I atleast broke/even made some money. I just cant believe its ran like this. If it keeps going up I might just keep what I have and start flipping some so take some extra profits.

President Obama to reverse stem cell research funding restrictions

Officials: Obama to reverse abortion policy
AP
Early next week, President Obama is planning on reversing the restrictions imposed by President Bush, which will allow federal funding of embryonic stem cell research.
This is major, new health news from the office of the president, for supporters of those asking for permission to use embryonic stem cells in clinical trials to treat human paralysis.
The first trial is already planned and will be small; only eight-to-ten people in a bio tech company in California. The patients will be paraplegics who can use their arms, but cannot walk. They will receive one injection within two weeks of their injury.
Dr. David Scadden, Harvard Stem Cell Institute, said “If we could have any evidence of activity, if they could now feel cold, or warm or touch, that would be a sign of success.”
This first test will show only if the cells are safe in humans. Animal research has been very successful. Scientists have helped paralyzed rats walk again by repairing damaged nerve endings in their spines.

I only have a couple of grand in it, so probably hold for a double or so. I'll even go thought the R/S as I love the company’s prospects. What I really hate is that that couple of grand I spent this AM could have been worth 29k if I followed my gut "which I normally do" buy at .02.
