nah, i'm giving up trading for a while.. gotta study for my board exam.. having money in stocks will just take up time in front of the comp.. besides, i'm so disappointed w/ my stock performance lately that i think i need a break from it all.. i put everything i had in LUM today and had to sell for a 20% loss in a couple of hours.. could have ended up green if i held.. life just sucks for now, plus i better concentrate on money earned from hardwork.. no more fast money for a while.. glty buddy..

Microtek Medical Ecolab to buy Microtek for $274M
ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - Ecolab Inc., which provides cleaning and pest control services to the hospitality industry, on Tuesday said it has agreed to acquire Microtek Medical Holdings Inc. for about $274.1 million. Under terms of the agreement, Microtek' shareholders will receive $6.30 for each share of common stock outstanding when the transaction closes. The price represents a more than 34 percent premium over Microtek's Tuesday closing price of $4.69. Microtek, a maker and marketer of infection control, fluid control and safety products, has about 43.5 million shares outstanding. The boards for both companies have approved the deal, which is expected to close during the fourth quarter pending approvals by Microtek's shareholders, regulators and other conditions. Shares of Alpharetta, Ga.-based Microtek added a penny to $4.70 in aftermarket activity, while Ecolab dipped 39 cents to $42.26 in aftermarket activity after gaining 2 cents to close at $42.65.
