Rumor from Ihub...

This may be important but if it was already mentioned, sorry for the repeat. Not pumping by any means, just telling you what happened. Just received an e-mail that Albersons California sold out of all their Trump before year end and chewing quickly through re orders. Kendall Jackson West Coast is saying, "Trump Vodka is selling ferociously."

Not sure why this always gets killed last half hour..buying all day and close in the red. oh well, maybe holding it down for some other plays to come in. Some shorting going on here, so with big news a little squeeze may occur as well.

% wise?? Probably FRPT. If they announce the MRAPs sooner than later, easy 30 - 40% from here.

DKAM will be another 75% - 100% by summer.

I wish I could have gotten 4.4 million shares at 1.80 when it was selling at over $3.00

Basically they sold shares for $1.80, that, if I am reading correctly, the people can start selling as soon as the registration is done (which is supposed to be within 45 days). Someone correct me on that part if I am wrong. So these people are already up 67%, assuming it's still around this price by then.

Three positives about it though to counter some of that.

1) The executives can't sell some large portion of their holdings for at least two years.

2) It said something about not being able to dillute. I'm not totally clear, but at first read I thought it implied that the company can't dump shares for a certain time period as well.

Edit:
3) they also got warrants excercisable at $3.00, so they would want this to stay above $3.00 so those warrants are worth something (thanks to SincereX13 for reminding me, I meant to put tat in initially but forgot)
End of edit

This is all just my take on it, so I may be wrong on certain parts of it.

I don't think its all that bad is it? hopefully raised capital to expand product and warrents are for $3 so dkam would have to be trading over three for them to be worth anything correct?

It's not terrible.. but I hate dilution of any kind...

Yes, $3 looks like support. But look for some of the those $1.80's to be cashed out.

At least management is tied up - they are holding for a buyout I think.

Repo...the company has to have some cash to continue to roll out Trump Vodka.

4.4 million shares out of 69 million isn't that dilutive. Not to mention I dont think the investors who got it at $1.80 will want to dump until this is $5+.

Still say we need a close above $3.34-3.35.

If not the real support is at 2.60 and will be tested again.

This does concern me for a little. Let's see how the market reacts tomorrow. Got this from the yahoo board, but logically this makes a lot of sense!

"No, that doesnt matter, the warrants dont need to be exercisable now for them to short. They will short now. The short is protected from the upside by the warrants, ie. if the pps jumps and they get burned on the shorts then they exercise the warrants to cover, if the stock goes down then they dont buy the warrants, but the shorts protect the money they paid, the 1.80 per share for the 4.4 million shares. Its a commonly used protective mechanism for institutional investors. It happens all the time. Sometimes it makes no difference, ie the company makes money and they cover with the warrants, other times the company fails and the shorts protect their investment. The short term effect is the share price drops because of the shorts, likely near the cost for the shares bought, in this case near 1.8. Then it is up to the company to make good use of the money."

Drinks Americas Completes $8 Million Private Placement
Thursday February 1, 7:00 am ET

Proceeds to Accelerate Marketing of Product Lines

WILTON, CT--(MARKET WIRE)--Feb 1, 2007 -- Drinks Americas Holdings, Ltd. (OTC BB:DKAM.OB - News) ("Drinks Americas" or the "Company"), an increasingly prominent developer and marketer of premium alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage brands associated with icons, announced today that it has fully funded its marketing, sales and promotional program for its product lines. The Company stated that it has completed an institutional private placement of $8 million in common stock through Midtown Partners & Co., LLC, with all details of the equity financing being contained in yesterday's filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Form 8K which is available on www.sec.gov.

J. Patrick Kenny, CEO of Drinks Americas, stated, "This new capital ensures that Drinks Americas is equipped to execute our business plan on an accelerated basis and support and grow each of our icon brands. This equity funding establishes a strong net worth and, together with our credit facilities at BACC/Sovereign Bank, positions the Company to anticipate and meet product demand, have substantial marketing resources, and provide for our corporate working capital needs. Whether it be the continued rapid growth of our Trump Super Premium Vodka or the anticipated re-launch of our newly acquired Rheingold Beer, this capital assures the unfettered growth of our products and our company."

The Company also announced that its Trump Super Premium Vodka, launched in October 2005, is now available in 27 states and several international duty free markets. Mr. Kenny described last week's successful launch of Trump Vodka in southern and northern California by Kendall Jackson Winery, one of the Company's distribution partners. The Company further stated that it anticipates expanding its Trump Vodka to all 50 states over the next several months.

Mr. Kenny continued, "Drinks Americas has recently shipped over 25,000 cases of its non-alcoholic beverages including Newman's Own Lightly Sparkling Fruit Juice Drinks and Flavored Waters to selected markets in the Northeast and the West Coast. The Company will expand this part of its portfolio to include fifteen products, all rolling out during 2007 to all 50 states. We are particularly excited about the prospect of rapid and deep market penetration through our joint venture with Beyer Farms/Tuscan Dairy and the further distribution relationships arising out of that joint venture."

The Company further described how its various portfolio products will now accelerate their promotional marketing campaigns. For example, the Company's Willie Nelson's Old Whiskey River Bourbon will be supported with campaigns in Texas, Florida, Tennessee, and North Carolina. Damiana Liqueur, which is growing at a very rapid sales rate, will continue to be marketed as a perfect topper to a margarita, and the Company will actively support its award-winning Cohete Rum and Aguila Tequila.

This is what matters from the PR - as I said, distribution, then mass marketing = $$$$$$$$

"This equity funding establishes a strong net worth and, together with our credit facilities at BACC/Sovereign Bank, positions the Company to anticipate and meet product demand, have substantial marketing resources, and provide for our corporate working capital needs."
