Have to agree with you, Wang... EGLF should be getting LOTS of 'free' media coverage... the commercial should be invaluable for attracting more retailers too...

good luck to you!

Press Release Source: Element 21 Golf Company

Element 21 Golf Hires Mr. H.Y. Kim as Vice President, Production & Development
Thursday November 2, 3:47 pm ET

TORONTO--(MARKET WIRE)--Nov 2, 2006 -- Element 21 Golf Company ("E21") (OTC BB:EGLF.OB - News) (Frankfurt:BJQ.F - News) reported today that it has hired Mr. Hyo Y. Kim as Vice President, Production & Development.
Source: Element 21 Golf Company

· Element 21 Golf

Based in South Korea at the Company's newly opened regional offices, Mr. Kim will oversee the production of the unique Scandium Metal Alloys used by Element 21 Golf, leveraging Mr. Kim's extensive network of relationships with leading industrial companies in the region.

Importantly, he will provide E21 local management of the production processes and continue to develop better production methods and increase capacity at the Company's manufacturers in Asian markets. His duties will also include expanding E21's direct relationships with foundries and metal processors and manufacturers in China, South Korea, Taiwan and Japan.

Mr. Kim has 7 years experience working with Scandium, from the production of the alloy itself, through to the manufacturing of the golf shafts and club heads for E21. The production of Scandium Metal Alloys requires intimate metallurgical knowledge, and employs a complex manufacturing methodology employing a number of secret proprietary steps to ultimately produce a golf shaft with unparalleled symmetry within the golf industry. E21's unique Scandium Metal Alloy golf shafts are manufactured to symmetry tolerances of 99.5-99.9%, compared to typical 60-78% symmetry in graphite shafts and only 80-85% in steel.

E21 Metal shafts provide unprecedented consistency from shaft to shaft, and most importantly, superior shot-making consistency on the course, which ultimately leads to confidence of the mind.

Mr. Kim has led a team of engineers working on E21's behalf on Finite Element Analysis work and predictable engineering for metallurgy, forming and finishing solutions. This expertise significantly reduces the cost of the usual trial-and-error approach of field trials, and not only shortens the development process, but optimizes performance based on a sound scientific understanding of Scandium's unique performance-related properties.

"As E21 has now moved from a development stage company to commercialization of its products through retail channels, we must ensure that we maintain extremely high quality control standards across all products while in parallel meeting important delivery deadlines," stated Mr. Bill Dey, E21's Executive Vice President and General Manager. "Having Mr. Kim on the ground in Asia will provide local management over the production process, assuring that quality control is maintained at the very highest standards."

Another ancillary benefit of local offices in South Korea is the opportunity to initiate new retail channel relationships to serve the growing Asian golf market.

About Element 21 Golf Company:

E21 holds the exclusive right to manufacture golf products using proprietary E21 Scandium Metal Alloys. Through a sophisticated multi-technology production path, E21 manufactures shafts, drivers, and other clubs with marked improvements in distance, accuracy and feel over competing products. In recent months a number of high-profile golf professionals have switched to or began testing E21's Eagle One shafts. E21 Scandium products are 55% lighter and offer 25% strength-to-weight advantage over Titanium alloys, the current standard in the golf equipment industry. The advanced dynamics of E21 Alloys and the material economics offer a performance-enhanced alternative to manufacturing driver clubs with Titanium, the largest segment of the annual $5.5 billion U.S. golf equipment marketplace.

E21 recently announced its "Golf Shot Around the World Mission" in celebration of the 35th anniversary of Alan B. Shepard Jr.'s historic Apollo 14 Mission. Just about every single record for distance in the golf industry will be shattered this fall when an astronaut will hit a golf ball into orbit around the earth -- using an E21 golf club. It is only natural that this event takes place on the International Space Station, considering that E21 Alloys are also used on the Space Station in high-strength, fatigue-resistant applications.

Golf drive to be measured in miles, not yards

http://www.usatoday.com/tech/science/space/2006-11-16-space-golf_x.htm

By Traci Watson, USA TODAY

The record for the longest golf drive in history is likely to be smashed by thousands of miles Wednesday, when a Russian cosmonaut on a spacewalk hits a special golf ball as a promotional stunt.

The bulky spacesuit makes a two-handed swing impossible. So Mikhail Tyurin, now living on the International Space Station, will tap the ball with only one hand on the club.

The ball will rest inside a wire nest rather than atop a tee to keep it from floating away. Tyurin will wedge one foot between some brackets so he doesn't drift away while taking aim. If that doesn't work, NASA astronaut Michael Lopez-Alegria will hold down Tyurin's feet.

NASA will receive no money from Element 21 Golf, the company that makes the club Tyurin will use. The Toronto-based company won't divulge how much it's paying the Russians. It plans to use footage of the stunt in a commercial, and it plays up the link between its new club and the station's exterior, both made partly of the same high-tech alloy.

PHOTO GALLERY: This week in space

How far the ball will go before it falls into the Earth's atmosphere and then burns up depends on who's asked.

NASA says the ball will sink out of orbit and head for Earth in just three days. But Nataliya Hearn, the chief executive of Element 21 Golf, says the Russians have concluded that the ball will circle the Earth for 3˝ years.

The difference is crucial. A ball that circled the Earth for more than a year would build up enough velocity to damage the station in a collision, said Don Kessler, a retired NASA specialist in orbital debris. A long journey in space also would give the ball more chances to run into the station.

A hit from a large or fast-moving object could puncture the space station's metal skin, causing a potentially deadly air leak.

NASA officials originally withheld their blessing for Tyurin's stunt, saying they needed to make sure it was safe. But after a safety study by several dozen people, they decided the ball — which weighs only a tenth of an ounce, a little more than a penny — poses no danger to the station and its crew.

NASA's deputy station manager, Kirk Shireman, said the agency stands by its study showing the ball will fall back to Earth after a few days. He also said he doesn't object to the stunt as long as it kindles interest in space and science among students.

"I'm all for it ... as long as it's a safe thing to execute," he said.

Kessler said it's "impossible to imagine" such a lightweight ball staying in orbit for more than a few days. He calculated that a normal golf ball, which weighs 1.6 ounces, could orbit the Earth for months if hit at full force in just the right direction.

NASA paid for its safety study. The stunt was hatched by Element 21 Golf officials in 2004 to publicize their new club, which goes on sale next year.

Hearn said company officials also wanted to commemorate astronaut Alan Shepard's golf swings on the moon in February 1971.

VIDEO: See Shepard's swings on YouTube

Like Shepard, Tyurin might make several shots. He'll carry three balls with him for the event, which will take place shortly after the spacewalk begins at 6 p.m. ET on Wednesday.

"We'll all be talking in very hushed voices," joked Shireman, a golfer.

Tyurin had not played golf until he was assigned to make the shot about 250 miles above Earth. On the space station, he has diligently practiced his one-handed shot and is now "quite accurate," spacewalk officer Glenda Laws said.

Hearn said that Tyurin, who once aspired to be a hockey player, took a lesson last summer from LPGA Hall of Fame golfer Carol Mann and PGA director of instruction Rick Martin.

"He's actually quite gifted," Hearn said. "And now he's hooked. ... He's just in love with the game."

what about friday nov 23? monday nov 26?

This will be my very first stock I will flip, my acct is now margin. So i can buy and sell in one day, funds are usable immediaetly.
I know I can't do more than 3 transations in one day.
I don't have any shars at 21 cents, all are 26, so its not going to be as successful.
For some reason scottrade restricted buying last week, and after they lifted the restriction, the shars went up that morning to 26, next day went back to 22 but had no avaliable cash.
When i did have cash it was back up to 25.
I'm not having much luck with a small $ acct.
Next week all that will change.
EGLF will be my very first profit.
2007 should be a pretty good yr for me.
I've learned so much in the past few weeks.

I've been looking into the history of this "space golf shot" event. It seems it was originally scheduled to happen on June 1st of this year, but was cancelled (article here)

http://www.nytimes.com/2006/05/31/science/space/31station.html?ex=1306728000&en= 726ae7f094442244&ei=5088&partner=rssnyt&emc=rss .

At the time the announcements of the cancellation came out, the stock price was .14-.15 cents. But it didn't seem to tank after the cancellation announcement and actually went up to .205 over the next few days. It's been pretty steady .16-.19 ever since then until lately when there has been a spike due to all the publicity about the "space shot".

In the CEO's audiocast (I posted the link above), also says they will be attending the PGA Show in late January 2007. Looking back at the charts for late January 2006, I see the stock had spiked to .43 then. They were exhibitors at the 2006 PGA Show then too.

When I first saw this stock, I considered it a one time play for the publicity of the "space shot", but perhaps there will be another play in mid-January for the PGA Show as well.

what do you mean up 15% the maket is still 1 hour away from opening?

Actually it would be better for me if the ball only went a few yards and the stock went a mile high
LOL

This stock has to push big vol at open, or it will not see the 3M + shares in order to see decent green.
At 3M+ we see between 5-10% green, at 3-5M+ vol we see 10-15% green.

Each stock needs a certain vol in order to rise.
I'm hoping for my 3rd Star in my membership profile today. I think with posts like this one and others lately I know its due anytime.
Lets see 8% green today I'll be happy.

PB-

That was yesterdays post. When it was actually up 14.75 percent. I had high hopes for it yesterday.

Today my hopes are in line with yours. With the news of golfrumors.com, and the constant news of the tee off in space it would be a shame for this stock to not reach the 52 week high in the near future. Very near.

I'm not a golfer, but several of the guys here in the office are, and they say that their products are the best they've ever used.

Let's see 15% again today and we can all celebrate.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Great, if that equates in this stock moving up 500%, then good, otherwise its of no interest to me what your friends say.
Until Tiger Woods puts a 21 in his hands and says on TV, "buy this club", it means nothing what your friends say.

Thanks for the pump anyway.

If you are investing in the product, then the fact that golfers love the clubs is relevant.

Why don't you give people a break, PB?

You've got to pay attention buddy. If you will notice the post was at 10.00 yesterday morning. If you look back at your charts. Which I believe should say the same thing. It was up to 14.75%.

If I tell you that this product sucks, then that is not a product you want to buy into. If I tell you that the product is of high quality, You may want to pay attention. The consumer is the one that buys the products.

As well, I just mentioned the name of the product and the guys new the product line. That speaks for itself.

I value your opinion, I value everyone's opinion, until I'm given a reason not to.
