All those I am personally concerned about seem to be safe.
To all the jokesters: perhaps you could wait until the dust settles to make your little jib-jabs. Reading that stuff while your stomach is in your feet is enraging.
And Purl talks about Karma. Based on your above behavior, Purl, I wouldn't go outside for a few months.

You know, I crack a joke about Jimmy Hoffa to ease tension, then offer information about a police shooting range beneath the building as a possible reason for sound of gunfire, to further ease tension.
In response, a person siezes a chance to berate and belittle another. He is not concerned about his family. He is spending his time here employing a lame excuse to spread discontent and hatred.
Karma will certainly get you for that. Maybe She is doing that, right now.

Westcott, I notice you are very busy posting here and elsewhere. Why are you not on the phone calling family, calling friends, calling anybody and everybody requesting a safety check on your family members?
That is what I would be doing rather than being here posting articles.

I did not berate you. You berated yourself by mocking an incident that may involve personal family members. I view that is distasteful. I don't care what classless radio jockeys are saying about a given incident. If it makes you feel better that other people are swimming in the same cesspool as you then enjoy the company.
My job is not more important that my family. As soon as I read Dust's thread topic I turned on the news and immediately attempted to contact family members. As I mentioned, you can not do much from Tampa when the incident is in D.C.
Purl, you are prideful, unwilling to admit you are wrong and throwing more gasoline on the fire. I think you have built a cult-like following here and are upset I have taken you to task for some things you have posted, but today you made it personal.
A simple apology would defuse all of this. We all are strengthened by swallowing a little pride every now and again. I suggest you look into this…
