why is everybody getting so uptight about a pink sheet?

this volatility is normal for a pinky..

i haven't read thru all of the other thread and i'm not going to..
but it is a shame that the atmosphere from RB seems to be oozing over here to allstocks....

people who worry too much about disagreement over the value of a stock are always suspect in my book...
the market is always right; unleess it's wrong, and then there's money to be made... short or long ...

it's too bad PG is leaving again, it's always much mor interesting when she does post here...

incase someone missed from the previous thread.

Please be patient--the merger has only occured 2 weeks ago and now the plans
for the future are being put into place.
The buy out was only an initial phase of the negotiations--who knows what
percentage the buyer would have bought.

We are only trading at 47 because people do not understand the principle of
value and investments in a growing oil producer.
Owners of smart money are grabbing the cheap shares and are laughing at the
panic that a few days delay causes.

Why the drop in NDOL share price?? NDOL is currently trading in the high
.40s, didn't NDOl promised that by merging with Northwest oil group, it
will created shareholder value? The buyout offer was 2.17, NDOL didnt take
the offer and now we are trading at .47.

Thanks,
NDOL Shareholder

NDOL to AMEX or OTCBB? NDOL has mentioned about going to a "superior
exchange" very soon, I would like to know if that is going to be the
AMEX or OTCBB? How fast do you expect the move to take place?

Thanks,

If Dustoff is claiming the merger does not represent a "worth" of $1.5 Billion then I would like to read a breakdown of his reasoning.

Should be simple to put together and is a very small request.

chill out guys.. dustoff was playing around. we all know the stock was good otherwise it would not have rebounded. just a bunch of panic sellers who IMO misinterpreted the PR sold off big and now am sure are buying back for more gains. so lets relax and have fun..

my apologies to you westcott....

i'm somewhat jaded over the pinksheets issue....
i've read enough SEC filings that were just plain lies to be very skeptical, and anybody who is familiar with my postings knows i am not risk averse...

i never take any russky deals seriously... they are often good "plays" but never investments...

Purl and Glassman and many others are right...

The numbers and the way they didn't add up don't jive..

Some claim to just pick up the phone and call officers in this company, maybe, maybe not.

Do people actually believe that even if it true [the calls] that they wouldn't be told exactly what they think you want to hear....

That phone call ploy is used all the time in the Pinks..Remember QBID and CMKX? Phone lines seemed to be burning up to the officers of those two companies..

No apology needed, glassman, albeit appreciated. You gave a rational piece of criticism (the risk of "investing" in Russian Pink Sheet Oil Stocks) that I happen to disagree with. I am not, nor have I yet, complained about PPS. I have made it very clear that I am here for the long haul. I have spoken with many, many, many company insiders personally and quite comfortable with my position.

So when I hear people throw any mud at the wall about NDOL they can find and see what sticks, it tends to make me a little edgy.

So...no harm, no foul!

Regards,

W

You go back, Jack, do it again
Wheels turning 'round and 'round
You go back, Jack, do it again

Now you'll swear and kick and beg us
That you're not a gamblin' man
Then you find you're back in Vegas
With a handle in your hand
Your black cards can bring you money
So you hide them when you're able
In the land of milk and honey
You must put them on the table

You go back, Jack, do it again
Wheels turning 'round and 'round
You go back, Jack, do it again

I like the Waylon Jennings version.

Had Parkin and crew been honest with the
public from the git go, share price would
be double today's prices and climbing.

I am not surprised many still believe
what is being said by Parkin and crew.

The other thing that cracks me up is that we are all here "playing" pink sheet stocks. So, I need not elaborate on the inherent risk involved. And yet, knowing that commonality with 99.99% of all of these stocks, people still feel it incumbent upon them to come in and trash the "pinky" you feel like playing.

Why?

We all know we are playing - for the most part - with white-collar lotto tickets. I really don't think people are impressed by the self-effacing wisdom offered, "Hey...that stock XXXX is sure risky...their numbers don't add up...yadda, yadda, yadda...". Yeah...we got it, we hear ya and that is precisely why we can capitalize on huge returns or potentially experience huge losses.

:::Shrug:::

I am not sure about any of the rest of you, but I have been wildly successful with NDOL and the criticisms simply strike me as hollow pride on parade or dubious emotional gerrymandering.

I have yet to read any advice on this board that a 8 year old does not inherently know and yet people pawn themselves off as "Warren Buffet Lite". Comical...wildly comical, thus I shall choose to remain here...strictly for the entertainment.

Regards,

W

w, there a lot of people who do come to allstocks with little or no knowledge of trading...
if they stay for awhile? they probably learn more here than most brokers know (or at least more than the brokers are willing to admit they know [Wink] )

Certainly you have notice the primary pumpers
of this stock are now gone, just as they
vanished in the GHLT thread.

I become very angry about scam operations like
this. Many believe, "Oh, it is just some stupid
trader out there. No problem stealing his money."

My guesstimation is a vast majority of traders
out there are a husband or a wife, are a father
or a mother. These people whose money is being
stolen, they are not simply text on a screen.
Those people are families with children trying
supplement their incomes.

When pumpers and scam artist rip off money, they
are causing injury to families, causing injury
to children. Doing so, is very wrong.

People buy or sell based upon what others write.
Those people make or lose money based on what
others write. How immoral, how wrong of people
to defraud, to scam, to steal from families, to
steal away children's security and futures.

I rate scam artists and those involved in threads,
those who are not honest, those intent on stealing
money from families, I rate those people as no
better than child molesters. They are, de facto,
victimizing children and their families.

understandable purl... but, you know most of us are in this for a while... soooo, why would we be going back? we've already been here, and will stay here... (shaking head)

and about the risk... the risk was described in the old ndol thread on about page 50 when "investor" was in this yet and everyone else was chiming in on an exit strategy. and no one should need to be told about a risk, it's a damn pinky in the stock market. your not investing in a mutual fund...
