Nibbled a few more blocks of shares * the bid .18 .19 today
I was hoping the MM's would take it lower, but seems a lot of investors holding and taking the wait-and-see approach so it's hard to grab shares on the cheap here.
My boat's pretty loaded but if they take it down some more before the news explosions later this month into Sept, I'm a buyer.

Nice work Jo. Can you please tell me where the store is located? Thanks I appreciated it.
It's been under construction for a while. I never really paid attention to when the old snack bar was taken out, cause I wasn't watching this stock then.
Next time, I'm over there, I'll see if I can find out the opening date. I'm sure I can shoot the breeze with the "greeter" LOL!

Agreed. That is great due diligence Jo, but is that a regular Walmart or a Walmart Supercenter in Shippensburg???
I know because of the dimensions of the larger Walmart Supercenter, they can accomodate a Stewart's Root Beer Diner (a spacious sit-down restaurant), which is where they are building all the Stewart's -- in the Supercenters. I maybe wrong, but I'm assuming this Blimpie's in Shippensburg is in a regular Walmart's because of the size constraints.
In any case, it looks great for RKLC because Walmart's is taking the initiative to create another revenue stream within it's stores by using this restaurant concept.

We should be looking at an O/S of right around 25M and a Float of around 10M.
We should be getting News within the next week of 2 more Restuarant openings. They opened the first restuarant about 3 weeks ago and at that time were awaiting final inspections for the other openings. Good luck getting in at .15. It's been .18 and above for the last 13 trading days. Moves well on news.

"Wal-Mart is in the midst of a plan to add more than 1,500 stores in the years ahead to the 3,200 it already operates in the U.S.
The retailer opened 341 stores last year and is on target to add between 335 and 370 this year. New construction focuses on supercenters, which combine a full grocery section with the general merchandise found in Wal-Mart's discount stores."

I knew the MM's would take this down under .18 It was just a matter of time. I was hoping the company wouldnt release any news yet so I could get shares on the cheap! Small market cap, low risk to the downside with enormous reward potential to the upside. I like this one.

I agree with the upside potential Geno. News should be comming out it's just a matter of when. Would have liked to buy more today but wasn't willing to sell other positions to do it. If I'm lucky one of my other stocks will hit prior to this one taking off and I can add a bit more.

Market cap of $3 mil with contracts with at least Walmart supercenters and distribution contracts with Blimpies and the Chock Full O Nuts coffee franchises. I'm selling other positions to load the boat now. This is worth $15-$20 mil minimum.

Went by the Walmart I mentioned earlier to see if the Blimpies had opened. All the signage is now up, including a sign on the outside. I asked the greeter, and he said they just have some plumbing to do. He didn't know when it would open. I would have gone and asked the management, but I was in a hurry. Had to buy those school supplies you know!

It's all coming into place...Blimpie's and Stewart's restaurants opening up in Walmart Supercenters. Maybe wishful thinking, but I have a feeling Walmart will up the ante and want more than 10 restaurants a year. That's based upon the fact Walmart's is also ramping up their number of stores they're opening (350 new stores expected next year!).
Let's not forget, their recent Chock Full O Nut deal is another huge ace in the hole.
AND Taco Time still on back burner with distribution rights in the greater NYC area.

As far as Blimpies goes, scroll on this list to see just how many are "under construction" inside Walmarts. They are listed as WM before the city name.

I don't think so. I've been trying to figure that out. One of their PR's says "any or all" of the Walmart locations, so who knows which ones are theirs.
quote:From the May 22 PR: Rockelle's agreement with Kahala gives Rockelle the right to develop, own and/or franchise any or all of the Wal-Mart locations offered to Kahala. Rockelle has contracted with Kahala to obtain Blimpie franchises to be located inside Wal-Mart stores.
...
Stephan further stated, ``With this agreement, Rockelle will help fuel Kahala's growth and expansion, as well as our own. We have already accepted our first Blimpie/Wal-Mart locations from Kahala, and plan to announce the sites and opening dates of these stores very soon.''
