This stock has been having a very predictable morning for the past few trading days. Gap up about a buck or two and then go red. Nice flipping stock really. I haven't done it myself, but I may start.

why is every tom n dick talking about litigations of MA.. merck has far tooo many litigations and pays millions every year on litigations, and yet its sock doesnt fall. when i bought MA at 42.6 (i got out at 50 though and waiting to get back in after market consolidates).. i knew MA was like google. google was the only search engine used by billions around the world, MA is something similar, and everything i buy, it gets 2% everytime i use my CC. i am sure after the whole shakeup, this truth shall be realised by everyone.. end of july price=$60

OK, all of you that are in this stock know that we have had a tough few weeks. I personally am holding strong in the belief that this will be a $80-$90 stock in a few months. Well here is what Cramer said last night:
MasterCard, on the other hand had a great opening, with a price that started at $39 and closed at $46. After, the stock flat-lined, but his was due to bad market conditions, Cramer said.
"I would stay away from Vonage, but I think you should buy MasterCard," he said, giving the credit card company two thumbs up.
Although there are merchants suing MasterCard and trying to undue its IPO, Cramer believes this is not a serious threat and pointed out that the company is still doing well. It is a strong business that is coming out with new products and variations on old products.
MasterCard also made a smart move by sponsoring the World Cup. This move will increase European penetration, as soccer is the sport of choice for every country but the U.S. and India. He said it is not too late to get into MasterCard and recommended buying the company's stock.
Sounds good to me...Good Luck to all.

The broker said litigation and other risks associated with the stock may be less severe than the market expects. MasterCard's exposuure to legal fights over interchange fees and other issues may be $1.6 billion, compared to published estmates of $6 billion. "Our lower estimate stems from our view that the major banks, as co-defendants, will push to settle, rather than risk a trial; that the major economic impact of settlement will be a modest reduction in interchange fees, which MasterCard does not retain, rather than massive cash penalties," Morgan Stanley said in a note to clients.

up 3% is nice on a big board stock. Plus it was up about 2% yesterday. I like Mastercard's chances of going to the $60-$90 range in the next couple of months. This is the stock that I keep throwing my sub-penny profits into (when I actually have profits that is)...
