There's not gonna be a r/s announcement. It's just gonna happen....I called my Scottrade office and they said they have it on record that it's supposed to happen, but until the SEC delays are done, then it will just happen. The only thing the SEC does is make a call to the contact person of the company within 24 hours of when they're gonna do the r/s and inform the brokers and poof! It's done, which could be any day now. I beleive it's gonna happen tues, wed or thur of this week or next week, but the R/S doesn't change any value of this, so it makes no sense why there would be more buying and selling of this. What will move this stock is the filings with the SEC to get off the pinks. Now that will make this stock jump and those filings are to be happening by OCT 15th, next week!

On their home page I cannot find any mention of any project. For example how many BOD, NG, location of wells. Maybe I haven't looked in the right places...so if anyone knows...please let me know.

Big write up in yesterdays Wall St J regarding the russian oil companies and how they have been very slow in production and has been a steady fall. That is turning around now that everybody over there is pretty sure that the gov has nailed everybody that they want on the tax penaltys that started the whole collapse!! No mention of any body but BP and Exxon but they really need to ramp things up and thats what they are in the process of doing.
Just an FYI, am not in this one any longer and dont really know whats going on internally or other wise. GL all and lets see some green

I already told you all, but will say it again.....I'm a long hold here, but if you want quick cash, you might go somewhere else......... the numbers are just too good here......when the r/s and new ticker goes thru, IMO this will not dip, since it is bottomed right now....and the longer it takes for the r/s to go thru, the more developed the company will be, thus will be able to release better pr's, driving the price up.......this is oil.....it can't loose it's value....it;s only going to go up.....see you at the top in a little wait.

Yup. Oil will keep going up until it's completely gone. Our government wants to oil companies to make as much money as possible before the next step which is hydrogen. If oil wasn't as profitable as it is we'd already been using hydrogen (clean basically free fuel) I know I'll be finding some long-term investments in that soon especially since solar power can create the hydrogen from water. Oops, I'm off topic now. lol

This just in regarding split!.....
Contacted the TA this afternoon. They got a hold of the company...Company had to amend the 'Articles' and Corporate Resolution....The Attorney has the amendments ready...(was 'rushed to the hospital'...with the files), no details as to what happened, but no indication of anything too serious...will be back on Monday, is o.k. Filing of amended docs to the NASDAQ on Monday (I believe by electronic submission)...Split will them most likely take effect on Wednesday. Whew....This is like watching a good movie! LOL Also.....The new Finkelstein Capital/Midland Baring Financial Group website is now up and running!....Impressive list of partner links....One of which is well known 'Westminster Securities Corporation' who controls two seats on the New York Stock Exchange, has offices in Toronto and New York...member of the AMEX and employs there own MM Pershing & Co, owned by (Credit Suisse First Boston)....just FYI, we Also are the featured company under IR 'News' www midlandbaring com/eng/index.asp?pg=news (put dots on link)

GREAT NEWS 006....thanx for the post! With wells already drilled with proven reserves already waiting to be sucked up, there is no risk in this like a bunhc of other OAG stocks "sitting" on reserves, that are trading at 30-70 cents PS and their "reserves" are not even close to NORD'S.......that;s great DD that they're associated with the AMEX and the 2 seats on the NYSE.........this will move to the AMEX in 2006.....I have no doubt about it......... TO THE NEWBIES playing stocks.....everyone new to playing stocks looses money....it's part of the game...loosing money till you learn to be wiser in it......but if you'll just play long on something solid like this and let it sit till pay off, you won't loose.....then you can take more riskier gambles with looser money......just My Opinion....this is a most excellent long play....but not too long....when the r/s happens and new ticker, the new ticker will register on alot of computers showing OIL and alot of it and the buying will begin....however, keep a close eye on this because after a big rise, there will be a dip, as day and swing traders take profits, so be ready to sell and then buy back in on the dip and hold long....there will be some volatility for a short time and then a steady rise reflecting the true value of the company as it files quarterlies and moves to the AMEX.....IMO spring or summer of 2006

It is under "Home" and then under "Positions (My Investments)". From there it's to the right of the symbol under "Description". At least that's where I just saw it on my account.

Zenith, you should consider, that when the r/s and ticker change comes thru, there will be a surge in price, so you might sell some shares to profit, then buy back in on a dip........just depends on how strong the pr's are after the split....I told myself, if this reaches .50, I will sell some shares to profit and buy back in on a dip........

And you can see they did not file corp. income tax for 3 years. And as I know this company was put on collection a few years ago. Also if you ask strategis.ic.gc.ca for name and address of directors of 4009207 Canada Inc. all addresses is not good. Mail returned.
So if the same V. Makarov is president of Nord Oil - I will be very careful with this company.
I send e-mail to V. Makarov asking if he has anything to do with 4009207 Canada Inc. - did not receive any answer.
By the way, try to find Nord Oil company on strategis web page, if any luck, post it here.
