We are probably just going to bounce between 1.65 and 1.70 here for a few weeks until either some more definitive info on the russian payment develops or other positive PR comes out. Looks like there is some accummulation going on here - could be a good sign.

Don Harrold is a stock commentary guy has a web site and gives free info on stock trading. I don't know if he knows what he's talking about but do your own DD on him. Also www.freerealtime.com is another good news source that I use.

Hard to believe that a single "buy" recommendation from a "Don Harrold" would have such a positive impact of share price (up .20). Just evidence of the pent-up demand for buying shares. Buyers just needed any good news at all I guess. Imagine what a "buy" recommendation from a first tier analyst would do.

Doubt that was the cause of the move. Think it'll probably slowly drift back down again tomorrow.

There doesn't seem to be anything pointing to a $2.00 price in today's action. In fact we will be lucky if we don't give up more than .15 of the gain we got yesterday.

Definitely looks like we won't see the $2.00 mark today - in fact we will loose more than the .15 i estimated earlier

Get ready for the dive come Monday morning...
Sarraf Gentile LLP Files Securities Class Action Against GlobeTel Communications Corp. Friday April 28, 4:10 pm ET
NEW YORK, NY--(MARKET WIRE)--Apr 28, 2006 -- On March 28, 2006, the law firm of Sarraf Gentile LLP commenced a securities fraud class action lawsuit on behalf of those investors who acquired the securities of GlobeTel Communications Corp. (AMEX:GTE - News) during the period December 30, 2006 to April 11, 2006. The lawsuit is pending in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and names as defendants GlobeTel and certain of its top ranking executives.
According to the complaint, the Defendants issued several statements during the Class Period which touted the consummation of a $600 million deal with a Moscow-based company named LLC Internafta to install wireless networks in Russia's 30 largest cities. The complaint alleges, however, that the Russian deal, like so many of GTE's other business ventures, was in reality a sham.
Plaintiffs are represented by the law firm of Sarraf Gentile LLP and Shalov Stone & Bonner LLP, which have extensive experience in the prosecution of class actions on behalf of investors.
If you bought the securities of GTE between December 30, 2006 to April 11, 2006, you may, no later than 60 days from today, move the Court to appoint you as lead plaintiff, a representative party that acts on behalf of other class members. The Court must determine whether the class member's claim is typical of other class members' claims, and whether the class member will adequately represent the class. Your ability to share in any recovery is not, however, affected by the decision whether or not to serve as a lead plaintiff. You may retain Sarraf Gentile LLP, Shalov Stone & Bonner LLP, or other counsel of your choice, to serve as your counsel in this action.
If you would like to participate in this action or would like additional information about the lawsuit, please contact Joseph Gentile at Sarraf Gentile LLP, 485 Seventh Avenue, Suite 1005, New York, New York 10018 (telephone: 212-868-3610; e-mail: joseph*sarrafgentile.com).

That "lawfirm", and I use the term loosely, are nothing but ambulance chasers looking for a lead plaintiff. Google them, they've filed like 4 other class actions this month. LOL. Though this could provide a phenomenal buying opportunity Monday for those with the testicular fortitude to play the volitility. GLTA!!!
