Plasticon Announces Company is Profitable as of Second Quarter 2005; Review of Financials for first and second quarter 2005 show Plasticon to be on a positive cash flow basis
via COMTEX

June 17, 2005

LEXINGTON, Ky., Jun 17, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) --

Plasticon International Inc. (Pink Sheets:PLNI) today announced that a review of the financials for the first and second quarter of 2005 demonstrate that Plasticon has achieved profitability as of the end of the second quarter of 2005.

"Our momentum has been incredible over the last few months," said Jim Turek, President and CEO of Plasticon International, Inc. "As the technology leader of the recycled plastics sector, we developed several major innovations which led to substantial cost savings and leaps in productivity. We announced our exclusive contract with the largest building materials distribution company in the U.S., which makes us the largest supplier of rebar supports in the country. We also built some very important partnerships, which will allow us to continue to aggressively grow the company. All of these developments contributed to our profitability. So we are thrilled to announce that Plasticon International is profitable as of the second quarter of 2005."

Mr. Turek said that the company's top priority right now is to have the company audit completed by the end of July. "I am confident that we can meet this deadline. This is a very important step for us. Once the audit is completed we will immediately file the necessary documents with the SEC, in order to move Plasticon to the OTCBB. We expect this to be accomplished in the next 30 to 90 days. "

Mr. Turek emphasized that there will be many exciting announcements in the coming weeks and months, and noted that investors and shareholders should visit www.plasticonintl.com frequently for updates. "We approach communications with our shareholders and the public very seriously and we feel that it's very important to bring openness and integrity to the process. For news about our company, we urge investors to rely on trusted sites only. It has come to my attention that there is a lot of misinformation being bandied about on the internet regarding PLNI. If you are an existing shareholder or are considering buying stock in Plasticon, please consider very carefully the source of information you use to make your investment decisions. I urge all investors to make their decisions based on sound fundamental information and not on rumor, conjecture, or innuendo. It's unfortunate that there is so much incorrect information on the internet, but again we would caution investors to only rely on trusted sites and other offline sources for investment information."

Strong fundamentals for Plasticon International give Mr. Turek a very optimistic outlook as the company moves forward. "We are certainly in a very promising period of growth right now," Mr. Turek said. "The company is on very solid footing and is positioned for tremendous growth. PLNI offers serious investors strong fundamentals, superior patented products, an unprecedented distribution network in our sector, low overhead and positive earnings. We are grateful for the support of our existing shareholders and welcome those of you who are new owners of the Company," Mr. Turek said.

I know people won't like what I'm about to say. I and two of my friends are in this one big time and not gettting out anytime soon. Great expectations and future. Our goal is at least .05.

However most of us expected the PR News with the Audit Results, now we have to wait until end of July and if we get no major contracts or an awesome PR such as retiring shares. The logical and most common thing is this stock will drop slowly maybe back to .0075 or .008.

I will not sell my current shares because that one day I sale it may release the news we all are waiting for and then I loose big time. However I will most likely buy more.

If some of you feel I am putting this stock down you are wrong I'm just stating the facts and what I believe most likely will happen. Once again that's my opinion.

I did say the price was going to drop this week and it did, I did say great opportunity to buy more. I was also the one that said this can climb to .03-.05 but that's with the audit report, which it will come eventually.

Good Luck to all..

Relax this will be a great company come Fall season when most stocks rise.

yah agreed nettrader, but look at the O/S and A/S, regardless of how much they make or what they report, i think this stock has potential of running just cause of the chart and the l2's. Look at them, the PPS could run up quickly with just a million in volume. I think its on another thread in the under .01 cents forum. I think it has big potential. I am going put my order in today for 500,000 shares. This is going nowhere but up, i think even someone in there said with the rite volume, this thing could fly to $1.00 [Eek!]

Green Baron,
May Focus Stock Update

Plasticon Intl. Inc. (PK: PLNI)

Friday, June 17 News Alert: Plasticon Announces Company is Profitable as of Second Quarter 2005; Review of Financials for first and second quarter 2005 show Plasticon to be on a positive cash flow basis

Last week on June 15, Plasticon CEO Jim Turek presented at the Microcap Investors Summit, a half day event offering fund managers and analysts the chance to discover new investment opportunities in the microcap marketplace. The Company believes it was successful in delivering its growth story to these investment professionals, and that interest developed from the summit appears to be very strong.

The press release issued Friday demonstrates that Plasticon is now operating in the black. The Green Baron Report believes this achievement is just the beginning of major earnings results for the future. The Company also addressed the issue of its audit. We understand that the audit will likely be completed much sooner that the end of July, but the Company did not want to miss another internal deadline.

Some investors have been alarmed over the possibility of a reverse split since the question was addressed at the conference. Through our close communication with Plasticon representatives, we understand a more detailed explanation about the possibility of a split will likely be addressed on Monday, June 20. Thus far, our understanding is that a reverse split would not occur, if at all, until after the stock retains a Bulletin Board listing and likely at much higher prices. We will comment following any press release by Plasticon.

LEXINGTON, Ky., Jun 17, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Plasticon International Inc. (Pink Sheets:PLNI) announced that a review of the financials for the first and second quarter of 2005 demonstrate that Plasticon has achieved profitability as of the end of the second quarter of 2005.

Turek said.

OK guy's here's the real deal. Traveled to NC this weekend, and happen to see some bridge work going on in PA, VA, and NC. Stopped at the site's to take a look at the rebar that was beig placed, and it was a plastic rebar installed in the reatainer, or barrier walls, with blue linx distribution tag.. The manufacturer wasn't stated, but my guess was plasticon manufactured rebar. So, what do you think about that. I liked it, although my wife thought I was crazy, because I got excited.

  • OK, just got off the phone with Bill Howe; will share quick points then post results of e-mail correspondence later.
  • good announcement planned for tomorrow re clarifications, re which he said, "I think you'll like what you see."
  • there is no, repeat, *no* "plastic rebar anywhere in the world, yet." That is a developmental project only, in testing.
  • reaffirmed general timeline for r/s as a post-OTCBB strategy for further movement to NASDAQ.

more as it comes, via e-mail...

Thanks Tex: I'm a builder and never heard of plastic rebar. Suppose its possible but the process would probably make it too expensive. It would need to alloy with something.
All the speculation has been interesting though.
Don't underestimate the construction products though. The saving in time on large projects where rods are used extensively world wide makes this a natural to grow this company.
To many people just want to see huge spurts but real companys take time to grow.
There are plenty of momentum plays around.
