ha hahahaa, thanks!!! i can create a username "mxpx is slime" if you want, to return the favor!
yeah i like HOM: both on fundamentals and technicals, at this point. i lost a little during the drop, then gained most of it back when i bought at 1.08 and sold at 1.25, and am in since 1.18 now so i'm about even on it so far. this time, i'm going to hold for awhile: the picture looks bright for them imho, especially with the additional revenue from florida coming in. if they can maintain their 500k profit quarterly, which shouldn't be overly difficult (they did it last 2 q's), then $2M profit yearly would put them at a PE of about 11, not bad. really, i am hoping they can approach $1.5-2M yearly profit, we shall see

hey glass, im a newb and (for education sake) have been doing research on the stocks that you post in hopes that i too can someday make money at this crazy game. In regards to your post about the "MM's having to go above the ask"...thats good right? From what i understand that to mean, the MM's believe that the stock will go up and cover the cost of having to pay more for the stock than its currently worth. Did i interpret this correctly?

it's hard to be absolutely sure what the MM's are up to in any specific situation. often, just when i think i know what i'm doing, they show me the error of my ways.....
late today, the MM's had buyers on the ask price, but very few sellers on the bid price.they don't make money without a trade, so they were taking sells above the bid and reselling them on the ask.... this is usually a good sign..LOL
i am fairly good at spotting patterns, but these guys are good at bluffing..... good luck
there was one BIG trade BELOW the bid at 13:24:39 that i saw go thru for 2million shares at .0446 when the bid was (i think).047..then the price took of for .06---if you can figure out what that was, you're better than me...LOL i have to suppose it was somebody covering their shorts...... or the MM's had been collecting shares to fill a large limit order.... it made me a little nervous when i saw it..i was ready to dump, but considering the financing deals were all set in June, and they were for higher prices than .044, i held.....

Company's Next Generation Technology Designed To Set New Industry Standard RICHMOND, BC, July 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - SmarTire Systems Inc. (OTCBB: SMTR) announced today that it has successfully completed the initial test phase of a new battery-less tire pressure and temperature monitoring system. With the automotive industry in search of a tire monitoring technology that does not rely on batteries, the management of SmarTire believes that its next generation of tire monitoring systems could set a new standard. Current tire monitoring systems use battery power to transmit pressure and temperature information from sensors inside the tires to a receiver located within the vehicle. The new SmarTire technology involves a passive sensor inside each tire that is energized by an antenna located within each wheel arch. SmarTire's battery-less system offers significant improvements over current battery powered tire monitoring technologies. Elimination of the battery in the sensor greatly reduces its weight, size and cost. Sensor life and reliability are increased and battery disposal issues are eliminated, creating an environmentally "green" solution. This new approach to tire monitoring allows tires to be rotated or changed without re-programming the system. It also tracks tire revolutions, a critical variable in predicting tire life. SmarTire's President and CEO, Robert Rudman said, "This is cutting edge technology that we believe has the ability to advance the tire monitoring industry to the next level. While aspects of this technology do exist in other forms, our engineers have successfully applied and extended its functionality to satisfy the particular demands of tire monitoring. For some time now, the industry has been demanding a paradigm shift to a battery-less technology. Although it will take at least a year to commercialize this new technology, we believe that this technical milestone reinforces SmarTire as the technology leader in tire pressure monitoring systems." Erwin Bartz, Vice-President of Business Development, said
i been watching this one for months..... the financing deal gave me some concerns, but when the NTSB made it's latest announcement the other day, i started accumulating...
SmarTire Applauds Final NHTSA Rules Requiring Tire Monitoring Systems
***
All light vehicles to be equipped with new tire safety technology by September 2007 RICHMOND, BC, Sept. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - SmarTire Systems Inc. (OTCBB: SMTR) reported today that it applauds the rule amendment by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) that requires all new passenger cars and light vehicles being manufactured for sale in the USA to be equipped with tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS) by September 2007. In addition, only direct measurement systems such as those developed by SmarTire will meet the more stringent NHTSA requirements. President & Chief Executive Officer of SmarTire Systems Inc. stated "This latest NHTSA rulemaking represents a critical milestone in vehicle safety. Since 1987, our Company has been pioneering the development of direct measurement systems used in tire monitoring applications and the driving public deserves this higher standard of performance and reliability. The availability of these technically advanced tire safety systems has been unfortunately delayed but now the auto manufacturers must accelerate their implementation plans in order to meet these new NHTSA deadlines." In November 2000, a U.S. federal transportation law was enacted to prevent the re-occurrence of automotive tragedies as experienced with Firestone equipped Ford sport utility vehicles. The Transportation, Recall, Enhancement, Accountability, and Documentation (TREAD) Act empowered NHTSA to improve vehicle safety through various initiatives including one regulation that requires the installation of warning systems in new vehicles to indicate when tires are significantly under-inflated. This U.S. mandate required 10% compliance for model year 2004 increasing to 100% compliance for model year 2007. The NHTSA rulemaking also allowed for the use of either 'Direct' or 'Indirect' (ABS based) approaches to tire pressure monitoring. The direct measurement approach was determined to be technically superior but represented a greater cost solution. In August 2003, auto safety advocates scored a major victory when the U.S. Court of Appeals ordered NHTSA to rewrite the rulemaking and to disallow the use of indirect systems on the basis that they are too ineffective and placed drivers at risk. The new NHTSA rulemaking sets requirements that can currently only be met through the use of direct measurement systems. The U.S. Court of Appeals decision resolved the dispute over indirect systems but effectively delayed the TPMS phase-in schedule by one year as NHTSA addressed the rewriting of the rulemaking. However, the new mandate is structured to prevent any further delay by requiring auto manufacturers to achieve 50% compliance for model year 2006, 90% for model year 2007 and total compliance for model year 2008.
obviously in the pennies you have to be willing to change your mind according to circumstances, but this one could play long...

i'm not a get-rich-quick-trader. i'm a swing trader--- i have no idea what the price will be tomorrow.... i have a list of over 50 stocks that i LIKE alot... i watch them ALL very closely as i look for more....and i try to alert you guys as soon as i see the volume do the right things... if i put them out too soon, everybody seems to get worried about why they aren't moving.... this market is not very liquid...esp RIGHT NOW
i think this one can go a lot further up...today, tomorrow, i dunno..... the real test for long term PPS is in the patents and how management handles financing/growth i have yet to do a patent search... even after i do the search, i'm not a patent attorney-even they argue in court about what the patents are good for...
this is a penny...... 20% in a day is real good? LOL being too greedy is what gets you hurt....
it could do 50% a day for several days..... depends on how much people want it...
ONEV eventually went from .015 to .22 over about a ten-day priod...now it's around .10 and IMO not likely to hold it. welcome to the pennies...

no offense taken...even the fake glassman is paying me a compliment and i take it that way.... there is a lot of pumping and dumping, and i try to be realistic... when i am looking for my picks i want see in the fundamentals:
regular PR's that promise/hint of MORE PR's
low float, but not TOOO low...
dilution that has been handled/managed well, or high revenues/grants that(even if there are losses) can be used to grow without dilution.
there are a lot of ways that these guys can hide things from you and i learn new tricks from the b$trds all the time...LOL good luck
